I didn't know that "gem state" was what Idaho was known for and it's nickname. I thought the state was known for its russet potatoes. Guess it's true you learn something new almost everyday, if not every single day, with Google and other sites that is possible. The way I found out was watching Napoleon Dynamite. When the high School principal is scolding Pedro about him having a piñata resembling his class president rival Summer Wheatley, and when he is getting on to Pedro, he mentions the "gem state." Is that state no longer known for russet potatoes anymore? Rhetorical question by the way! Hope everyone is doing well, peace love and happiness to all! ☮️❤️🙂
