Which Split Squat is Best for Your Body?

    The split squat is probably one of the most powerful exercises you can do... But the biggest mistake people make is selecting the right split squat for their body!!
    These days, exercises like the bulgarian split squat or the ATG split squat are super popular... And while they may be an okay option for some, a lot of people would do much better with other variations!
    The key here is to select a variation that satisfies the following:
    1. It fits your body, making it easier to do the exercise with proper form
    2. It fits your goals
    In all honesty, most split squats can be awesome for building strength, hypertrophy, and flexibility. So really, the most important factor is picking the exercise that fits your body.
    This is super important if you are also doing other training to improve posture or positional competence.
    For example, let's say you are struggling with anterior pelvis tilt and rib flare. You might be doing posture correction exercises to learn how to control these positions, but then picking a Bulgarian split squat or an ATG split squat, which makes it WAY harder!
    The stimulus you get from lifting is way more than any posture exercise, so you need to make sure that your exercise selection in your lifting actually fits your goals!
