@@MirthLifts We got so lucky, I missed MW2 and BO1 for 10 years and then we managed to get another nostalgic run. It's pretty crazy it happened. We should also remember that it was only 2-3 years ago, sometimes I look back and feel so silly for missing MW2 in 2012 because it was so close in time. I really hoped this latest MW II would bring it back but it was so bad

Yeah. WZ was the best during MW seasons 5 & 6. Haunting was like the cherry on top. No content which they added later was ever able to surpass this.

WZ was literally at it's peak when this came out. Not the sad excuse of a game it is as of July 2021. Dunno how you can mess up something so damn near perfect but that's Activision. If they don't get their act together soon, then BF 2042 it is. I'll always have a special place for MW WZ though
Edit: They ruined it. They had one job. To copy and paste last years event at the very least and instead we got a dull slow paced bastardized version of Zombie Royale. And to top it all off, still no MW Halloween theme. I think it's safe to say WZ needs to be put to sleep permanently

I agree with this, Haunting of Verdansk was one of my favorite events in any game and then as soon as it was over, Cold War season 1 hit and shit hit the fan. From DMRzone to every other unbalanced meta to the current hacking pandemic, this game really doesn't seem like it can be saved. The nostalgia hits when I listen to this and it's only been a year...
