*I bought one for $20.00 at Target. 2/23. Best nano drone to start with! I have a 2 yo and 8yon they both can fly it. You get about 5 min fly time. Worth it. Trust me. Kids love it*
Got one for $20 at Target and it’s worth every penny. Really cheap entertainment for what you usually get for that price and the best part about it is that it’s not made cheap when holding it and it can take a beating with the exception of the rotors (which is a given).
I expected it to be dead by now honestly, but she’s still going strong just like the day I got it.
The only thing I think that it could use for novice pilots is a detachable cage or rotor guards but other than that, I have no complaints. The last one I bought was almost 2x the price and died in half the time, even with a cage. My previous nano drone wasn’t nearly as powerful and agile either, even with the cage detached.
I know right I was playing around with mine it fell into the pool but it still works

Mine worked up until about a month ago...Then the dog got ahold of it when it was charging (because he hates it).
He annihilated the poor little drone.
At least it was only $20!

Never trust a drone without a camera or GPS or return home these drones are for indoor only one major component that the sky Viper Dash lacks is a streaming camera I don't care if its 1 megapixel I want to be able to see with the Drone is looking at

Seems pretty cool but when I launch in auto mode it just randomly drifts around fairly quickly instead of holding position. Ive tried adjusting the trim buttons but its been a bit of a challenge to make it hover stable fashion
Try it in a room with no fan or anything. Even the slightest of wind will make them drift and not stay in place. I’ve noticed the same thing with mine.
me to i fixed this press on the hold button to manual mode and to fly you move the left stick up and to come to a complete stop hold left stick down im still tweaking trims because it moves left and right or front an back by itself
overall i give it a 8/10 for a $20 kids toy ive even seen this same ones w lil camera just the camera is terrible quality like at 240p
I’m pretty sure it’s only meant to hold altitude not itself in place he probably have to trim it very carefully to do that

Bought one of the minis when toys r us closed its doors and my only regret is not buying the other sizes! My daughters (4 and 2 years old) love watching it fly and chase after it. It's a great starter drone to get the feel for it and is fun letting them fly it in the house! I can't wait to purchase more for the holidays.
For me, my drone has a mind of its own. This man fucking MOVES ANTWHERE AND I CANT CONTROL IT.

It will not hover on auto mode. It goes up and acts crazy and drives into the ground. I just got it and opened it. It's crap.

you probably didnt calibrate it correctly
I had the same issue but for fun I removed the flight controller and adapted it to a Tiny Whoop frame with 6/15 motors. It flies great and is much more stable. Note: you must have a good, thin soldering iron and skills to replace the motors and add a connector for TW batteries. Removing the stock battery and adding a connector allows you to swap batteries.
I would very much like to work with Skyrocket or Sky Viper directly with a certain line of drones because there is some excellent ideas that I came up with while designing my own drones out of old Parts in chipsets from the sky Vipers

That's why they make the Nano drones for $20 a piece do not take your eye off at for a second I do recommend brighter green lights in the front and red lights in the back for night flying

I agree he didn't cover the range he did not cover the fact that if you double tap the auto button it goes into an auto mode that is extremely fast with auto hover enabled

Cant control worth a darn. In Auto it takes off like a bat out of hell up and sideways, right towards the wall. Other times it won't gain altitude and just drives forward along the floor.
My remote looks different, does that mean the controls change

I have this exact one but even when fully charged the drone flashes red/green rapidly and will not pair or fly 😢

I got one of these for my birthday and I was playing with it and it was awesome and I kept hitting stuff and it was fine however when I dropped it from like 2 feet it just stopped working
Strange I brought my drone up about a hundred feet and I pressed down on the remote because I was in manual mode and it took a hundred foot fall straight to the asphalt without a scratch

this thing is a POS change 1 propeller then it does not go up or fly any longer but the props do still spin
How do you recalibrate this thing? My son used it for several charge cycles, but now it won't take off. The back end lifts up a little and it will scoot across the floor but won't lift off anymore. Two days after we got it. And this is our second one we got. Same thing happened.
Free the propellers and make sure they are on the correct motor
Been having trouble turning on my remote for this exact model. I have to re insert the batteries for it to turn on

On the other hand I love to take the drones apart and make my own now that I own so many I tried the sharper images and all the retail store drone and took the chipsets out rewired the brushless motors and made my own drones with popsicle sticks and super glue and a couple parts off of the body of the drones themselves

No.b it's a internal battery that you cannot remove you just recharge the whole unit

How do I fix it, it won't pair! The controller is mostly the same except for the 3 mode button. It just has normal and sport on it. My little brother got a drone basically the one shown in the video with the same green markings and when I finally flew it it worked for like a few seconds getting off the ground but then just fell on the ground. Once it reached it's desirable altitude it just stopped flying. I did it another time and the same thing happened. Now it just refuses to pair at all. I DO NOT RECCOMEND BUYING THIS AT ALL. It is not a good toy coming from me.
My controller wont pair up with the drone. I press the power button but no lights flash and turn solid. But if i hold the power button if flashes a green light on the auto mode side.

Actually the sky Viper drones are made out of a very flexible polymer that does not snap it would bend before it snaps unless you're flying in super cold conditions
My controller only has normal mode and sport and don't think it ment to have that
Pretty solid nano drone for the price.
Seems to only last about 10 minutes on a full charge, though, which kind of sucks.
10 minutes is pretty good for a nano drone in comparison some last 6 minutes . Even some of the larger ones from holystone last about 10 minutes. So not bad really.

Just got one of these. The green lights on the drone go solid, but the red lights blink a few times every couple seconds. It won't fly. I can't find ANY information about this in ANY documentation ANYWHERE. Can anyone help?
This is just a bad buy! Too many people having too many issues and most of those make it completely useless. They just stop working right for no reason at all.

I recently got one and it's amazing however after a while the drone lights flash quickly and so does the controller and it won't fly after a bit it'll just turn off. The drone is completely charged and the batteries are new. If someone could answer that would be great thanks.
Wayne Calhoon charge it for longer and make sure it's plugged in completely I did this with mine and it goes back to normal and plying on no time

I got this for my son and all it does is buzz out of control before crashing. It got some hair caught inside the motor under the blades and it cannot be disassembled to remove the hair. I DO NOT recommend this toy for anyone. We got a whole 10 seconds of fun out of it.

How to launch this
Too bad the battery drains TOO fast after it fully charges, it starts landing by itself in just 2 minutes
Most of these drones were made in 2018 you have to build the memory back into the battery so give them long trickle charger when it says it's fully charged on plug it plug it back in and you will see that the plug will light red again repeat this step about eight times until you can plug the Drone in and the plug stays green

Charger doesn’t plug snug into the drone. Thank goodness this only cost 6 dollars. This thing sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before.

This thing is a total POS, and a waste of 20 bucks. You cant control it, it just flies wherever it wants. I finally broke down and realized that if I want a halfway decent drone it's gonna cost me some money. I spent $150 for a DJI Tello, and absolutely love it.

People aren't understanding these drones were made two years ago the lithium ion batteries need to build their memory back so over time your drone will slowly get a longer and longer battery life I get 10 minutes out of all of my Nano drones I own 4for Sky Viper Nanos. I have an M500 to Nano Dash and I also have an M 250 or M200 I don't remember I also picked up the sky Viper Pro V 2900 awesome drone bad communication past a thousand feet
