My son moved to Maple Shade from Texas last year for his work (in Moorestown). He's fallen in love with South Jersey, especially the food options.
I get pulled over at least thirty times a year in south Jersey
Whaat?! You must be more of a speed demon than me! 😂
This is why I'm scared to move there. I'm scared of racist officers and people.
I think people like that are everywhere and you can't let it stop you from living your life!
@@livinginsouthjerseynj They dominate south jersey Municipal traffic is their hustle
Fair points. I'm from Mays Landing. It's not like North Jersey. 😂
LOL!!!! I like Mays Landing!
Having lived up North Jersey...everything you mention was true ...however its pretty much the same in the north. Traffic and congestion are probably much worse now with all these apartment complexes all over. Its true about the sports teams..but there are also many colleges and universities including Rutgers in Newark as well. A difference you didn't mention was the notorious Taylor Ham and Pork Roll.. 😂
Thank you for commenting! And yes I forgot about the pork roll and Taylor ham lol - very true!
Lived here in south Jersey for my entire life, Im 30 now. But im sorry to tell you but you shouldn't put your kids in private schools around here because other kids their age look so down on them. I know it sounds bad and trust me i know its not right, but the truth of the matter is that they will feel like outcasts. If you have a smart child and want private school dont come here. Itll just cause more stress on your child.
We can tell you're not a native. You still go "To the shore", while the natives go "Down the shore."
Thanks for the correction!
