Fire alarm 33! Do u need special simplex things to wire up a simplex 4906 9101 truealert I’m having troubles where I plug the alarm in and when plugged out the strobe flashes bright the turns off can u give me advise you look like a expert!
You might have a Smartsync Model which means you will need an Addressable Simplex Panel. In some cases, TrueAlerts will also have a small pair of dip switches on the back. These switches allow you to convert the device from SmartSync to Freerun. Most models don't have this feature though. Think of your alarm as a Conventional and Addressable System. You can't use a conventional Smoke Detector on an Addressable Panel. You will need a module. The other issue also might be. How you are powering the device. How are you powering exactly? If the power isn't the problem. You probably have a Smartsync Model and will need a Freerun Model if this makes any sense.
