@@WaxwingSlain I've been seeing people switch BEFORE i'M EVEN THERE. I die, swap in spawn, get to the next fight and the other tank's ALREADY SWAPPED.
@@kaiseremotion854 At this point it should just be 4v4 and let the tanks sit on spawn and press tab to pre pre pre counter the entire game.

Hot take: you won't climb if you just play the counterswap game, because you don't improve on any hero and when someone can play into your counter, you get no value.

Idk that I believe that part. You don’t ever get wide match without the wide players being in your own group aka your friends. So unless he’s complaining his friends were bullying him it’s bologna. I think he just wanted people to think he’s playing against masters to forgive errors in gameplay lol
I think more than likely, since this was a wide queue, his team had 2-4 other stacked players and they did the natural thing of "My party members can do no wrong so its obviously the other guy's fault" so they just dumped the blame loss on him since its easier considering hes a Gold Doom and its of course never my or my party's fault
This happened on a team I was with. I fucked up and got killed and my buddy started trying to flame the random. I had to stop him and be like “no it was my fault, he tried saving me”.
Haven’t finished the video yet but this dude has had amazing doom gameplay for a gold player in a low masters lobby

@@t360gaming3besides you’re movement you’re doom game play was great. I’m a doom main and it gets rough out here with tm8s I usually mute let my play talk for its self. Remember if you’re punching for distance always jump at the end will get you going farther and you can cancel slam by hitting slam again. Btw if the corner is a round corner you can punch around it but if it has an edge you will get stopped. Will help throw you enemy’s off when they are getting punched from around the corner.

Just bc all the small techs that doom has that gives u that extra 1% advantage in the game. Still great doom gameplay but learning punch cancels, stair slams, stair b hops, etc will improve ur rank on doom by a bunch

Because if so, then they say to themselves "he's gold and even plays as a tank, perfect to blame him", that's classic.
About him: for a gold player, he plays really well, there were moments where he was very aggressive and wanted too much but overall he was really good.
as a reaper player i'd kill to have this doom in my stack, being overly aggro is kinda our MO lmao

Telling people to swap off something is generally just not a good idea I think. It just brings the vibe down.
It tends to be a lot better to ask if you can get a certain hero because they have x and y heros. It doesn't make it seem like you think they are bad at their hero and more so like you are suggesting that they can get more value on a different hero just because of the comps.
Always give a chance before asking to swap, asking someone to swap off his main for something he never play just because muh counter won't do much
They were mad because they felt as higher ranked players that gave them the right to boss him around and he didn’t acquiesce.

You played good. Don’t let people get into your head. A good mental is almost required to climb. analyze, strategize, and never get cocky. I always see people play well but because they didn’t respect their opponents ability to adapt they do the same thing over and over and as a result get rolled doing what at first worked.
Amazing Doom play for Gold. This type of lobby makes me wonder how many of the players in the lobby are actually close to masters? I can only imagine that nearly everyone is Goldish or low diamond and each team has a single low Master's. (maybe)
Stuff like this is why I try to hype my tanks up in games. Especially if they’re actually decent.

My only issue with his doom gameplay is that he uses both cooldowns to commit, leaving himself vulnerable sometimes. And also charging his punch to the max everytime, making him miss many easy punches.

Reminded of my first time in years of playing comp and it was with Doomfist. I hadn’t done Doomfist since I wanna say when he was still damage and played Overwatch until the last week of Overwatch before transitioning to 2. When we got the One Punch Man collab announced and being one of my favorite anime, I practiced Doomfist and shortly became my main with good amount of POTGs. After the collab and a season later, I decided to try out rank after all these years. I’m more a support main so I did that role first, then damage, and when I finally did the tank role, I picked Doomfist cause of the wins. The moment I played Doomfist on Dorado, my Bastion teammate typed “Switch Doomfist or KYS.” I think I choked up as I wasn’t doing so good for my first tank comp in years and dude keep flaming me to switch to the point the other teammates said I’m doing fine and I think they were mocking me when I was doing fine. Decided to screw it and swap to Zarya and carried the team while the Bastion was being so arrogant. We won and they was boasting, especially when they got POTG. Nowadays, I’m more outspoken and a sometimes passive aggressive in chats, but I wish I had a more backbone during my first comp match on OW2.

Besides it being wide ranked I think the issue is that unless you completely diff the team it's hard to see the impact that Doom provides. You have to really pay attention and even then it's infuriating when the tank doesn't play the way "they think" it should be played.
Had a similar expérience on brig, our Mercy asked ball to swap while he was keeping 3 of them busy in 1 vs 3 so we could kill their tank and second supp easily in 4 vs 2
There is no counter for Dva. You just change your play style. Using any other tank will usually be the reason for the loss

I'm the doom in this game. My genji and one of the supps told me to swap at every chance, when they died, when I died, when we got one point they would say " you can't play doom here go switch". At the start in spawn it was all of them but the other 2 stopped early when they saw me doing well

Im ngl playing doom is 100% making things harder for your team unless you’re just better. He is one of the easiest characters to counter and a lot of times you don’t even have to swap to outplay him. Winston just does everything doom does but better and not so easily killed. I’m not even that good but even in diamond for support/dps I’ll just avoid doom one tricks unless they’re able to pop off. I do feel bad. Blizzard really needs to reign in counterswapping but as it stands I’d rather not have a doom on my team
Doomfist has 0 options for peeling. When you are on a team with doom it pretty much feels like you are on a team without a tank with is horrible.
To be honest doom is not really a tank. He is a brawler/bruiser. Aka a dps with low damage and high HP/survival. And he is not alone, there is a bunch of wanna be tanks on the tank role. On OW1 (6v6) they would called "off tanks".
You must be in metal ranks. Doom is incredibly deadly and can shred back lines, forcing the enemy team to focus him. Doom can also quickly pull back to his own backline when needed and annihilate flankers. The hardest part of playing doom is the judgement and decision making. Once you have that figured out, you can absolutely solo carry lobbies.

Console's Masters is PC's Diamond. People get upset at this but it's the truth. I have thousands of hours on both platforms in all elos and there's no way this dude is a Gold tank on console unless he's off roling.

sorry, i guess im just uneducated, but i thought that it wasn't really possible to be in a wide queue game unless you yourself were in a stack with a wide gap? or is there always a small chance that you can solo queue into a game like this? regardless, it really didn't feel like our team had any masters players at all, and the enemy teams tank was definitely a higher elo player.

Sometimes i was thinking whenever someone say "my team telling me to swap, they tell me i'm sucks", It's not actually what happen, like they just make a fake story.
@Youre-Welcome it's my VOD can confirm both my dps and one of my supps were talking hella shit in VC then when I acc started playing my hanzo chilled out he was hyping me but the genji and the other supp constantly had something to say.
