I agree with what you said mostly, but I don't get this killer mentality people keep talking about. For me, if you're comparing LeBron now to the Kobes and the Jordans, he doesn't possess that killer attitude because his character is just different. However, his intensity for the game has never changed. I think at this point, its because LeBron has revolutionized his game as he continually improves and now, he's in a position to succeed with the system the Heat play which perfectly fits him. Like many people said, Mike Brown's heavy ISO system never really used LeBron's gifts to their full potential.
Exactly brother!! and let me add something to your comment. Without slavery you don't have railroads which played a crucial and large part in industrial revolution of America.
Basically, the Pacers don't allow middle penetration, hedge on screens and play smart help defense without over helping. Is this what a good defense is like?
Im a heat fan but I won't have a HUGE problem if they dont make the Finals. A threepeat now is much more difficult than a threepeat back when Jordan and Kobe did it. Now, everyone has a teams stats at their finger tips, how well they defend pull ups, how well they defend drives, how often they do this that etc. So teams in the east can build there team to defend the Heat's strengths and abuse the Heat's weaknesses, so in my eyes winning back to back is the equivalent of winning back to back to back decades ago.
Heat have only ONE real competition in the East. And that's the Pacers. If anything they might have the easiest 3 Peat in history. (If they do it of course.)
KriticalKing you think the East during Bulls' 3-peat was any more competitive? It was basically 3 incomplete teams, the offense-incapable Knicks, Magic and Pacers with Reggie and some other guys.

Very nice vid once again Nick. I've been putting the Pacers as the #1 team in the East ever since the start of preseason. People here (Belgium, Netherlands) don't always get that because "the Heat have LBJ" but they will see come June that the Pacers are for real and Paul George is the next big thing. That boy defended LBJ AND Wade the entire game. Respect!

Hey Coach, one thing that nobody seems to mention is the fact that Greg Oden will be healthy and play in the playoffs against Indiana. In this game, Roy Hibbert scored 24 points with Bosh and Birdman guarding him and Roy Hibbert has at least 3 inches and a good 50 lbs over them. I think the Heat will pull it out against the Pacers, Bosh has to be more assertive tho. They pulled out into a big lead early on they just have to keep that same pace going. Indiana is really good too
exactly pacers barely pull this one out . heat shouldn't be sacred of the pacers. the bulls beat them down worse lol. whats more alarming is that paul George seems to have bad games against the heat and that's their main guy. you take him out in a series and the pacers have no chance.
asik for bosh helps both teams. the rockets need a stretch four and the heat need a big that rebounds and plays defense.problem is bosh contract is hard to move
ryanr20091 In order for the trade to work it would have to be Omer Asik + Terrence Jones + Jeremy Lin for Chris Bosh. That trade is the best possible trade for both teams.
BBALLBREAKDOWN George does get credit, but i think the reason why he can play such amazing man to man defense is because he knows he has hibbert in the back to either lead his man to or he knows that if he does get beat he has hibbert to clean his mess up.....I saw plenty of possessions during the game where james and wade would blow pass the pacers defense only to run into that hibbert wall...take hibbert off the team..i think the pacers are like a miami-lite team
I believe if danny granger can come back like a star to complement the team they can win the title, they really need a 3point shooter to spread the floor and to make Paul G go inside more, also will make the team more diverse on offense.
Coach Nick has criticized the Heat the past 2 years saying during the regular season they probably wouldn't win the championship yet they have the past 2 years. They are the heavy favorite until someone beats them in the playoffs, it's clear the regular season doesn't matter to Wade Lebron or Bosh all of whom are getting healthy for the playoffs rather than wasting all their energy during the meaningless regular season.
4:40, i gotta say, i love the channel and i love the videos. very knowledgeable stuff and its helped with my growth in basketball. HOWEVER, the comment about the heat being able to be successful against the bottom 25 teams but "its when they come up against good teams" where they'll have some serious trouble. The heat have actually STRUGGLED against the bottom teams this year, no doubt due to coasting, losing more games to worse teams, and showed up against the great teams. sure, one loss to the pacers, and a loss to the thunder. That does not change the fact that this is a championship team who knows how to win in 7 games against just about anyone, and against any odds. And when they need to show up, i think anyone knows they will. *YES I AM A HEAT FAN, but when talking about basketball i remove bias. The Pacers are a good, tough, and motivated basketball team, but they wont make it out of the east this year. They are one or two pieces away from being the team to beat. Until then, its a threepeat for miami.
I'm more concern about Miami not being able to defend Hibbert. I've ceen better defence on a big man in a All star game. Like he's playing against children. there was not stopping him.
Part of that is because the Heat really don't have any size on their team. Their strength and weakness comes from them playing small ball all the time. If they strip you it's over on a fastbreak, chances are you're not stopping them. Doesn't help that they're only "Big Men" are Oden who's legs seem like they're waiting to snap and Bosh who couldn't even stop Dirk in 2011 or Duncan last year.
KenGKaiden Oden can be a huge factor in winning the title this year if he stays healthy. He should be able to do a nice job defensively against Hibbert. Overall, I can't wait for the playoffs. It'll be intense.
GenericOverload Yes but that's if he's healthy and that's a huge IF! His legs have become have an issue again and even if he gets out there someone like Hibbert, Duncan will wear his legs out with footwork or drives to the basket then they're back to where they started.
also one think to take note of. they were unable to deny Hibbert that leather and that's why he dominated the paint. well you can also say it's "The Pacers Offense is better than the Heat Defense".
BBALLBREAKDOWN Will you please make a vid soon of your picks for the all star game 2013-14. Pease sir as I would hate to be sleeping on some untapped gems in the league.
Coach can you please do a video about defending in the post. Like I do not understand why it is so hard for a guy who is almost 7' tall. When I'm watching Chris Bosh defending the post, he seems like he doesn't know what to do. How does that happen? Also how can a guy that tall be a bad rebounder
Tall guys like Bargnani or Bosh can be be bad rebounders due to a combination of lack of effort and lack of knowledge of how to use their body to create space.
dude7597 No. Bargs is just horrible...period. Bosh has had to adapt his game the most out of anybody on this team and that's pretty tough. People complain about him taking 3s but he definitely can shoot those. The only problem we'd have with Indiana is Roy and that stupid ass vertical jump he does but his arms are almost horizontal so we get no calls on those but Birdman gets called for it every time he does it.
Hey Coach! Can you break down the new Sacramento Kings defense? I'm having trouble understanding their philosophy. They've also begun to give up a lot of points! They were in the top 10 in points allowed but somehow dropped to 25th.
Coach, don't you think Spoelstra doesn't call his good sets because he doesn't want the Pacers coaching staff seeing them this early and being able to have them on tape for later?
And also Spoelstra is not a good coach. They had Luis Scola guarding Ray Allen and he didnt even recognize the mismatch and in the other hand he had Ray Allen guarding Paul George when LeBron is on the floor
BBALLBREAKDOWN coach im glad ur educating this basketball world. i dont know anyone else breaking down games like you. it makes ppl shut their mouth and listen. but then again, u still have the handful who still doesnt listen for nothing
Miami it's all about the playoffs, and we know it, last year they lost to wizards, cavs, pacers, and many teams that were'nt contenders, bet they got that ring
you heat fan boys only know that wait till playoffs so you think miami will be better team? hell no indiana has improved much since last year and they will win the east for sure keep hoping fan boys
Problem with the Pacers once they're down they can't come back. I still pick the Heat in 6 or 7 I just can't see the Pacers containing LeBron in the playoffs. But I'll tell you what this will be an amazing series!
Hey coach this is an odd request but I'm wondering if you could do a breakdown on Brian Shaw and his coaching of the Nuggets. I'm wondering how he is applying his triangle offense on a team that quite frankly doesn't have any good post up threats. Is he running it at all? Or is he just going with the flow and working with what he has ditching the triangle all together?
Awesome stuff Coach. Keep it up. What can you say about Coach D'Antoni's recent remarks following their loss to the Suns? Are the Lakers better off without Kobe? or they just suck in defense and the Coach should be held accountable?
It's probably a mix of both. MDA isn't a defensive minded coach, and Kobe, right now, is probably doing more harm than good, as he has to play himself back into shape and on top of that, is playing outside of his comfort zone right now having to play PG (13 Assts don't mean much when u have 7 TO's and only 2 steals to mitigate the damage)
Coach i think you should make a video breaking down Hibbert's defensive presence in the paint, they heat gotta find a way to stop hibbert he's such a big thead in the paint area, and miami don't have an answer for him at the other end, BTW do you think that when Greg Oden is back he can help the heat contributing in the paint?
Coach, I want to get in on this conversation. Firstly Coach, to state "Why the Pacers Will Win the East" on Dec 11 of the NBA season, you know better. Secondly, you state you don't like the Heat's spread offense. I understand your sentiment and partly because of your coaching style which is understandable. This offense is not built on consistent repeatable actions, traditional inside - out play. However, the HEAT are highly capable with that offense of putting up 95+ points on the Pacers (their average last playoffs versus them). In this game, they missed a lot of makeable shots. The HEAT shooters have been in a slump the past couple of games. We all know what happens when they make open shots (they had a lot of open threes in this game). They shot well below their league leading field goal percentage of 50.4%. Some of that can be attribute to the Pacers defense (which is terrific by the way). Their defense reminds of the Spurs in last year's NBA finals, protect the middle at all costs. The big 3 will perform better, especially LeBron, and the HEAT have advantages more places than the Pacers do. Coach Spo will have a full season to game plan against this defense. There are holes to exploit with off ball screens on the helper, pin downs, 3-5 pick and rolls and back door cutting. For instance on side line pick and rolls, while that action is going on, if the off ball man would come off a pin down screen (screener clears to opposite corner) and set a screen (clears to top of the key for reversal or 3) for LeBron to cut towards the basketball, seal and post or simply create movement and clear to the corner (2nd most wanted shot in the HEAT's offense); the HEAT would score more points. Finally, this HEAT offense will improve as the year goes on, that's why you practice and watch film. This team is battling something this year more arduous than anything the Pacers are capable of. This is the disease that is success. 3 years to the Finals, 2 NBA Championships, 3 straight years of sending they're biggest East rivals home in an emphatic fashion (Bulls, Celtics, Pacers). They are not overly concern with them because of these realities, they've done this song and dance before. New year, new team. Out of every team in the NBA the HEAT have a gear that no one else can reach. It has been a gift to them these past 2 years, will it become their curse this year? That's the drama that is the Miami HEAT. In my humble opinion, I think not. Reggy
Coach, love all your analysis videos, best bball stuff on UA-cam. Question about Hibbert's D in the restricted area on LeBron's drive: It looks like he follows through with his arms and hits LeBron on the way down. Shouldn't that be called despite his good effort to jump backwards?
Hey coach, do you think that if greg oden came back to play decent minutes in the playoffs against the pacers, he could somewhat match up with roy hibbert? Not so much in the heats offense but slow hibbert on defense? If so do you think they would stand a better chance of beating the pacers with oden? When i was watching the heat pacers game it seemed to me the biggest problem at the moment is the heats innability to stop any semi dominant big men, just a thought
I just think it's too early to talk about this kind of stuff. The only thing I worry about are that the Pacers are playing their hardest right now in Jan. The season is so long. Especially with injuries swing momentum very easily. I feel the Heat are kind of cruise control right now. But we will see.
if the pacers offense/defense is so perfect, then why this game ended relativly close? the heat even led this game by double digit! according to coach nick, the pacers should win this game by 20/25...
They aren't that important to the Heat at the moment because well the Eastern Conference is so shit they can cruise to 2nd. To add, as some past pro basketball players pointed out, it's extremely exhausting to go to the Finals and the Heat did it 3 years in a row.
OriginalSin110 I think that is probably one of the reasons why Heat will even 3-peat. The upcoming playoffs, if remained stagnant like now, will be easy for the heat to get to conference finals and energy for pacers and the finals.
i see erik spoelstra still being the biggest weak point on this team... he just lets them do what they want on offense and prays wade and lebron can create miracles every game...
ppl keep saying every year heat will lose, only time the heat lost in the finals is when ppl said they will win. Ppl said okc is a better team, heat smashes them 4-1, again they say they will lose against teh pacers cos they cant rebound, they end up winning by 20 in game 7, again vs the spurs, they say spurs r extremly well coached there is no way heat can win, and they keep proving u wrong, give them some fkn credit for doing what they r doing. While lbj is the best player in the leage there is no fkn way they lose a finals i can see 5 rings in a row till lbj hits 30-31
the pacers played very well, but the heat looked really rusty in this game, and missed a tonne of makeable shots for them. i agree with you tho, there 5 out offense looks terrible, especially with all there perimetre talent, should be running to get players in better positions to score
Coach Nick said: "Since the more perimeter shots LeBron takes, the better off the Pacers are." Isn't LeBron shooting over 43% behind the 3 point line this season? Stats show that he's gotten a lot better and is able to knock them down now on a regular basis. Maybe he means he wouldn't be able to do that if he was a volume 3 point shooter? I mean James attempts three 3 point shoots per game on average, which is not too bad..
Don't be fooled by percentages. LeBron is still not a consistent 3-point or even 2 point shooter. His 3P% is up because he really doesn't take many. If I attempted 1 3-pointer and made I'd be a 100% shooter but that doesn't mean you have to respect my shot. LeBron makes most of his threes off ball movement when they're in rhythm. If you can get LeBron to catch the ball, put it down and settle for a 3 you've done your job defensively.
TheLonelyGeneral Injuries that killed the Bulls and the Knicks and other teams and massive trade over the summer that the teams still need to adjust their chemistry on the court.
It is too early to say that, with Lebron's back not being 100%, and Miami doesn't care about the regular season. Last year the Pacers were pretty good at home against the Heat and that didn't get them anywhere. But if the Pacers win the East, the Thunder will win the Finals.
Not knocking on Coach Nick, but I think he's stretching just a little bit. He once said that the Spurs could win 4-1 against the Heat. Nevertheless, RIGHT NOW, the Pacers are the team to beat in the East. Until Granger comes in and screws them up.
It's still December. Relax. Like every other championship team in NBA history, the Heat are pacing themselves during the regular season. They're a different team in the playoffs.
when Hibbert is playing elite defense and it seems like he does that all the time now it seems to me like indiana is using cheat codes. he's that good and tall.
Funny there were no clips from the first 2 qrts. The pacers defense couldnt do anything in the first half. In the 2nd half though.. another story.. the Heat struggled mightily. But it wasn't the defense of the pacers who won the match. Roy Hibbert was just incredible in the 4th qrt. But it's just a reg. season game and i think the Heat still have enough to beat the Pacers (in 7).
Coach, it sounds that you believe that the way the team is couched is more important than the talent of the players. How many plays did you looked up to see if it is a true fact. Is it a real fact or just an assumption?
Then Coach...why the Spurs, another very disciplined team on defense (if not the most) got defeated by the Heat offense in a Playoff Series? Not so much athleticism beside Leonard and Green?
BBALLBREAKDOWN The way it was, they lost - in 28 secs left they were outscored 5-0 and lost in OT and G7. Things are not the way we see, its the way they are. #OKCfan
coach spo knows what he's doing. that 5 out set is a ploy so other teams don't figure out there habbits, and it saves energy. they need to save energy since you know.... 3 finals in a row and the energy they put out on defense. and notice they only run it when all 3 members of the big 3 are on the floor, it's cuz that's the only time that shit is somewhat effective. #Heatnationsofuckallyouhoeasshatinasslames
Once again Coach, you made statement about a serie in 6 months. You already have some wrong last year, so i guess you should not gamble and learn from mistakes. Indiana wants seed 1 to avoid game 7 away, Miami wants to be good as possible for April. Maybe Miami won't do a 4th final trip in a row, maybe they will. Don't be to sure too soon
i'm calling it pacers and spurs this year. OKC is really good but they need to get another really good player to beat the pacers or heat. plus spurs have everything you need in a NBA finals team size experience some young talent shooting post game and defense. pacers have pretty much all of that except NBA finals experience. thats why i think the spurs will win it all. but still just predictions idk if lamarcus aldrige will go crazy in the playoffs or if durant will start playin like larry bird idk. but it will be a great year
How about not overreacting the fact that they don't have Beasley and Oden? Really, like Greg Oden will immediately be the savior of your team? Don't get me wrong he is a big center. But the fact that he has been injured for years with few years of experience playing on the court and not even playing in the regular season this year, you can be that optimistic that he will be dominant in the upcoming playoffs? Please....As good as Beasley is, he has no prior playoffs experience either. He probably won't produce as much late in the season.
its not playoffs yet and i remember you said spurs were going to beat miami in the nba finals now your saying pacers i like your breakdowns but your predictions i wouldn't put my money on any of your predictions
I think the pacers have what it takes, but we'll see what David Stern has in store.
david stern retired you dumbfuck
Lukasz Lukaszewski David Stern has not retired yet. He will retire in February.
xleax Still, his statement is valid since by the time the playoffs start Stern will be gone.
John Griller You're right, he will retire come playoff time and that's what he meant probably.
Although to call him a 'dumbfuck' in not true and invalid. You in? lol
lol good point!

a7xaddicted1 exactly!
CylinderTV! Ghosts & GTAV! can he make a jumpshot. thats the real question. lebron was 5 points and 20 seconds away from being 1-4 in finals. he got bailed and now he has a "killer instinct
smh
Exactly! Lebron really cant shoot and is completely defendable.
I agree with what you said mostly, but I don't get this killer mentality people keep talking about. For me, if you're comparing LeBron now to the Kobes and the Jordans, he doesn't possess that killer attitude because his character is just different. Don't forget The Heat's secret offensive weapon, the flop.
IamEnigmaticQs ok
IamEnigmaticQs
but u like the heat which are mostly blacks?
IamEnigmaticQs Bitch you just said" if you are black I automatically hate you" what does that mean??
Listen buddy, everything ive been saying is a joke. Please stop replying to me. You take this way too seriously.
Exactly brother!! and let me add something to your comment. Without slavery you don't have railroads which played a crucial and large part in industrial revolution of America.
Coach, you have unleashed the fury with this video. Get ready to feel the wrath of all these bandwagons, you have been warned.
Basically, the Pacers don't allow middle penetration, hedge on screens and play smart help defense without over helping. Is this what a good defense is like?
YES! Remarkable so few teams actually do this....
the pressure is really high for oden. show them in the playoffs why you're the no. 1 pick!
Im a heat fan but I won't have a HUGE problem if they dont make the Finals. A threepeat now is much more difficult than a threepeat back when Jordan and Kobe did it. The Heat have had THE EASIEST road to the Finals any team has EVER had!!
RadicalRattleMusic And the biggest thanks belong to referees :)
Lectiuss People use that excuse all the time, yet when you look at their freethrow attempts, it's usually near the same amount as the opponent. Quit jumping on the bandwagon.
RadicalRattleMusic The reason the handchecking rule was created was because of Jordan, believe it or not. They made it easier for him to score. Kobe just so happened to be playing a little before it was added.
***** ...Really? You're going to be that immature? "Heat fans are cute..."
I love how the pacers play. I think they have a great opportunity this year to win it all
Hire George Karl as an assistant coach, great offensives coach, spo is good defensive but not good offensive
Seriously? What offense did denver even run last year?
CrissyRonaldo Bro George Karl is a great offensive coach no matter what kind of team he has they always do good. People only liked your comment because it was funny not because it was true.
CrissyRonaldo I take it you were still young or weren't even born yet when he was coaching the Sonics.
Im sorry though, guess my pun on run didn't work out hahaha
George Karl is already on his way to Toronto. #MasaiUjiri + raptorsTankin4Wiggins.
We've seen this before. Miami don't run their best stuff until it's absolutely necessary. Why is that I've no idea, but I think they still have a few tricks up their sleeves. A lot of uncertainty there
BBALLBREAKDOWN Heat seem to feed off of that.
Coach Nick thanks for the amazing video! I've learned a lot!
Thanks for BEING IN!
awesome breakdown coach Nick! Love your insight, now I know what makes the Pacer's defence so good!
Nice vid coah
I agree that the Pacers defense is good but the Heat missed shots that they normally make. Even though Bron had 14 boards, he shot an awful percentage by his standards. We'll see what happens next week when Miami hosts Indiana

Pacers are probably going to beat Miami in 6 games this year and lose to OKC.
they'll beat okc
Nice dream, but Perkins against Hibbert? Let's be rational...
I'm just thinking they'll choke in the finals.
Joshua Kelly Sadly as they beat us the last 3 meetings including last season
naw pacers will make some key adjustments for the thunder...the thunder cant sustain the way they play againts the pacers D
Here we go again...*braces for impact*
Saying that the Pacers will win the East because of one regular season game in December is stupid IMO.
I love these breakdown's! but just reading these comments, I see alot of folks praying on the HEAT down fall! year after year.. But one thing about the HEAT they always work on their flaw's! Its like Coach Spo been watching and studying your vid's for the past couple of year's

***** Bosh isn't worth that much. Just two of those guys would be a better deal for the Rockets.
dude7597 Even if you don't think so, his contract is worth that much. In order for the money to work out that's what needs to happen.
The reason for Indiana's great defense is Roy Hibbert... While Paul George gets all the credit Hibbert is the real reason behind their success
Hibbert gets a lot of the credit I rarely hear people say PG is the reason the Pacers are so good on defense they all give it to the Big Man!
C'mon, you gotta give PG credit!
You are taking away PG's shooting skills though. But it seems when against big stars PG doesn't play as well.

Another sweet breakdown Coach. Looks like the Knicks pulled of a win tonight! :P
Love the analysis, just hope the intangibles don't completely reverse the prediction.
I always had a feeling that this guy secretly didn't like Miami.
Hi Coach, can you make a breakdown of Dwight Howard, how's playing and if the rockets team defense also improved? Love your breakdowns btw!
This ones only 5 minutes?! I miss the really long breakdowns, make some longer videos please :)
Nice breakdown Coach. Could you please do a breakdown on the comeback from the warriors to beat the mavericks. It would be greatly appreciated.
Unbelievable how people compare LeBron to MJ when it's obvious how he crumbles on drives once the lane is closed.
Until then, its a threepeat for miami.
why are your video so short. Last year you put out content with 9*minutes, was a pleasure.
I wish Mia vs Ind was the Finals.
Great video
Coach can you please do a video about defending in the post. Like I do not understand why it is so hard for a guy who is almost 7' tall. When I'm watching Chris Bosh defending the post, he seems like he doesn't know what to do. How does that happen? Also how can a guy that tall be a bad rebounder
Tall guys like Bargnani or Bosh can be be bad rebounders due to a combination of lack of effort and lack of knowledge of how to use their body to create space.
dude7597 Don't ever use Bosh and Bargnani in the same sentence.
FLASH03 Well... they're pretty similar players... Bosh is just much better all-around
This is a good idea. We'll put it on the list!
dude7597 No.
Hey Coach, great content, but last season you were releasing sometimes almost 10 min breakdown and now only around 5-6??
i love this channel
This guy is just biased against the Heat.
This was a stupid analysis all throughout
Hey Coach! Can you break down the new Sacramento Kings defense? I'm having trouble understanding their philosophy. They've also begun to give up a lot of points! They were in the top 10 in points allowed but somehow dropped to 25th.
You forgot to say birdman twice coach Nick. You're slipping lol
Coach, don't you think Spoelstra doesn't call his good sets because he doesn't want the Pacers coaching staff seeing them this early and being able to have them on tape for later?
Good point.
And also Spoelstra is not a good coach. They had Luis Scola guarding Ray Allen and he didnt even recognize the mismatch and in the other hand he had Ray Allen guarding Paul George when LeBron is on the floor
Spo is a great coach. Ray was just being a complete idiot last night, just ridiculous. He had a BIG turnover with Luis guarding him.
Did you not watch the end of this?
>Not a good coach
>Praised for his defense coaching
>Hand picked by Pat motherfuckin Riley
Child please.
BBALLBREAKDOWN coach im glad ur educating this basketball world. i dont know anyone else breaking down games like you. it makes ppl shut their mouth and listen. but then again, u still have the handful who still doesnt listen for nothing
Do you think Vogel might possibly win the coach of the year this year?
"An error occured please try again later" Why youtube??!!
whait till playoffs....
I guess we should get rid of the regular season then
alexi gallegos last time I've check Mia barely get that ring because of ray allen's lucky 3. smh
kobe1408 a ring is still a ring, isn't it?
MDA isn't a defensive minded coach, and Kobe, right now, is probably doing more harm than good, as he has to play himself back into shape and on top of that, is playing outside of his comfort zone right now having to play PG (13 Assts don't mean much when u have 7 TO's and only 2 steals to mitigate the damage)
nice observation Jean Gentry
Coach Nick, any chance you'll do a video of the Kings and their new roster? (which I think had improved)
You left out the whole first-half Why?
I just think it's too early to talk about this kind of stuff. The only thing I worry about are that the Pacers are playing their hardest right now in Jan. The season is so long. Especially with injuries swing momentum very easily. I feel the Heat are kind of cruise control right now. But we will see.
That sweater doesn't go with that t-shirt, coach.
Why not??
if the pacers offense/defense is so perfect, then why this game ended relativly close? the heat even led this game by double digit! according to coach nick, the pacers should win this game by 20/25...
Hey coach nick sports fan here, pre-playoff games are important right?
Sure - they're there to make a statement, and to learn how to play together
They aren't that important to the Heat at the moment because well the Eastern Conference is so shit they can cruise to 2nd. To add, as some past pro basketball players pointed out, it's extremely exhausting to go to the Finals and the Heat did it 3 years in a row.
OriginalSin110 I think that is probably one of the reasons why Heat will even 3-peat. The upcoming playoffs, if remained stagnant like now, will be easy for the heat to get to conference finals and energy for pacers and the finals.
wellllll what do you think about them winning now in the east?
Can you make a video on wat the pacers were doing wrong in the first half?
i see erik spoelstra still being the biggest weak point on this team... he just lets them do what they want on offense and prays wade and lebron can create miracles every game...
Hey coach, how different do you think things would be if Oden is healthy?
What about okc's beatdown of pacers? no breakdown for okc again?
Roy Hibbert the only big problem by Heat
I just noticed.... Coach Nick doesnt like the Heat
ppl keep saying every year heat will lose, only time the heat lost in the finals is when ppl said they will win.
That's a bold prediction, but if bosh, Beasley, and Greg oden... Yes I said Greg oden can play up to their potential the heat will win 4-2.
Coach Can you tell us why nets and knicks are starting terrible?
This time you didin't spoil me the result Coach, ESPN got there before you
Coach Nick said: "Since the more perimeter shots LeBron takes, the better off the Pacers are."
Isn't LeBron shooting over 43% behind the 3 point line this season?
Coach, could you explain why both conferences are so weak this season?
Both? I don't know, the West seems alright. The East, on the other hand, are doing pathetic.
TheLonelyGeneral Yea, I was mistaken. I thought there were less teams over .500 on both sides. It may've been true earlier in the season.
Until Granger comes in and screws them up.
no one knows whos going to win, this guy can say all he wants
And he was completely wrong
when was this made? cause this is out of date
Coach, why you aren't working as any team's scout or sth?
The way I see it, the Spurs pretty much did beat the Heat - the system put them in position to be up 5 in Game 6 with 28 secs left.
BBALLBREAKDOWN The way it was, they lost - in 28 secs left they were outscored 5-0 and lost in OT and G7. Things are not the way we see, its the way they are. #OKCfan
hey coach, how many people have beaten your draft team?
If the Heat can stop Hibbert, then no doubt that they can win. It's a BIG if tho
Well, the Pacers probably will do it next year, but the Heat is more likely to win this season.
coach spo knows what he's doing. that 5 out set is a ploy so other teams don't figure out there habbits, and it saves energy. they need to save energy since you know....
Don't be to sure too soon
coach do you listen to skip bayless and S.A.S
good stuff
THX!
Indiana saves us from a Heat three-peat!
i'm calling it pacers and spurs this year. OKC is really good but they need to get another really good player to beat the pacers or heat. plus spurs have everything you need in a NBA finals team size experience some young talent shooting post game and defense. pacers have pretty much all of that except NBA finals experience. thats why i think the spurs will win it all. but still just predictions idk if lamarcus aldrige will go crazy in the playoffs or if durant will start playin like larry bird idk. but it will be a great year
Miami will be a completely different team by the playoffs. No Beasley, No Oden and they usually make more threes than they made. Let's not overreact.
You are saying that only because he is on your team. Let's assume he is back on the Blazers again. Would be you as optimistic as you are right now?
its not playoffs yet and i remember you said spurs were going to beat miami in the nba finals now your saying pacers i like your breakdowns but your predictions i wouldn't put my money on any of your predictions
