"Babe, the new Jeff Rolka tenor warm-up video dropped!"
Came here to post this comment! xD
Thank you both! Love it!
Jeff Rolka, watching your videos feels like having your own personal singing instructor. One who cares about you! It's very uplifting!
I appreciate that! That's wonderful! Enjoy!
10:12 this is what makes Jeff a cut above the other vocal teachers on UA-cam, casual Bob-ross-esque humour, love it!
💯
Love it! I used to love watching him on PBS!!!!
10:13 Bravo!! love that extra range workout. I've been focused in passage area since I follow your channel, and it's so important to me to practice F4, F#4 and G4 notes, in order to improve mixed voice. Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Been practicing your first video for months and now tried this and something clicked in my head and all of a sudden i learned how to feel and transition in passaggio (always thought you said "this kind of passagio😂) so thx Jeff
Another great warm up Jeff!! I warmed up this morning with the baritenor version , and have just warmed up with this version too, before my gig tonight. And wow what a great result as it was sooooo comfortable. Now time for a rest but a massiiiiiiive thank you to you for your continued generosity!
I accidentally listened to this video at 1.5 speed. Was wondering why Jeff sounded clipped and mad at me today. 🥹😂
Goodness! Glad you got me back to regular speed!
Got mad at you 😂
The amount of videos we get by Jeff at such a fast pace is a godsent! ❤🙏🏻
I appreciate that! Thanks for being here!
@@JeffRolka thank you for your guidance and your dedication to the craft and your viewers!
This video is extremely beneficial every day for my daily vocal warm up. Thank you!
I've always like your warm-ups that I incorporate it on my daily vocalization.
I always call it JR Warm-ups or The Rolka Warm-up (my favorite) whenever I share it to fellow choristers!
new favorite

MY WARM UP PARTNER IS GOING BALD LIKE ME
Yes, it indeed what's going on up there. The sides are fine, so at some point I'm going to go for the professor look from Back to the Future.
I love that purple scarf- that’s a classic
love u jeff
Big Love right back at you!
Nice harmonies on the chords!
Thanks!
Thanx Jeff 😊
Hello Jeff. Thanks you, good job. Damien
I’ve been warming up with you for years, if only you could hear how far I’ve come. Hopefully you will someday >:)
Wonderful! Thanks for being here and keep singing!
wake up! brand new jeff rolka dropped
Thanks for that!
love this one ❤
This is gold!!! 🎉
NEW VIDEO FROM JEFF?? My day has been made!
Right on!!! Thanks for that!
Great..allways
Thank You very much for those exercises. I fell like the one with lip trills was better for me (the video with about 1,5 milion views). I don't know how to sing those higher parts to not ruin my voice. I guess there has to be some good lip positioning and maybe using full power of my voice, but just a bit of that power whlist doing the exercises. Have a good day ❤️
Hey jeff, do you give personal lessons? I think I'm using my voice incorrectly and I really need a guide. Please help me.
Absolutely! Get in touch with me via my website and we can get you on the calendar: www.jeffrolka.com/contact
thanks tons Jeff!
Wow so useful.
Thanks!
You're welcome! Thank you so much for the Super Thanks! I appreciate it!
I really love that ur showing the piano in this one. So i can be sure what note im hitting 😅
Excellent. If you have time at some point, a question: are there idiot proof ways to know some exercise is too "advanced" or difficult (i.e. causes more harm than good) when doing these? Or is everything allowed, if it feels "somewhat fine" ? I always do both baritenor and tenor exercises from you and occasionally they feel extra fatiguing or "too much work" (mostly not tho). But I usually think it's good kind of "training fatigue" as it goes away quite fast.
Awesome question! I'll be answering you in QFC 58! Thank you!
been sending my artist friends to your vids for years. thank u for everything 💪❤️🔥
I appreciate it! Thank you!
Hi Jeff! I got a new job as a singer and I’ve been using your videos over and over again to get mi voice warmed up, thank you so so so much 🙌 you have no idea how much I appreciate it 😊
Right on!!! Break a leg!
muchas, muchas, muchas gracias por tus videos!!!! saludos desde Argentina!!!
Greetings from California! Thanks for being here!
I have a question about breathing during vocal exercises. Leaving out exercises to develop or maintain good appoggio, do you sing each phrase or each arpeggio on its own breath or sometimes do two or more on a single inhalation - if you can without losing control of the purpose or the exercise? Always like to see your posts. I have a number of your classic videos which I do regularly because I like them and can focus on the purpose -usually vowel alignment but sometimes working my range- without worrying about the order of the notes. On the other hand, new exercises help me to focus on both hearing and doing and developing fluidity in moving from note to note. Having the notes in your range is not enough to use them in singing every song or exercise easily. Good video in my view.
Brilliant question! I will be answering you as part of QFC 57. I tend to make mountains out of mole hills, but this touches on really powerful vowel alignment practices that I'll elaborate on in the video. Great stuff!
My favorite content creator on UA-cam, bar none. Thank you Mr. Rolka. We are forever in your debt!
My pleasure! Thank you so much for your kind words!
this channel is a joy, and I'm happy every single time I wake up to new videos on these Mondays haunted by capitalism.
Thank you for that! Glad to be here for you!
