@@Pilgrim420 I agree completely… as an example. I don’t get sunburns. This summer.. every time I spend a day in the garden I get Really badly burnt.
Thanks Pilgrim!!! At least the plants are lovin the sun. Stay frosty

@@paullynds3 thanks. Me neither. Yet.. part of the issue I have, is that it should really be planted as early as I can get it in the ground. But my garden doesn’t open until may 24 weekend. And by that time. It’s starting to get hot. I’m hoping to get a fall crop with new seedlings I’m going to plant.

Busting our asses all day is how we've been for days and see no end in sight. If you can grow like that in Canada, folks down south here have zero excuses, right? Great plants, GTP. I'm going to reference the title of this video in the one I'm making today, barring unforeseen problems, if that's okay with you, friend. Funny about the San Marzano tomatoes. I just had the same thing happen with peppers, though not from Johnny's. I did not plant any hot peppers, had only a Color Bell Mix and by golly, hot peppers are growing on my plants. Good grief. Best laid plans of mice and men, as they say. In fact, not much has gone right in 2024 so why should this be any different? 😕 My younger son in the 'burbs has a spectacular raised bed garden and though it's been raining almost every day, he has harvested some beautiful veggies recently so at least he is managing a few hours south of us. My husband and I don't eat many vegetables because we've had to eat mostly carnivore for our health, but homegrown is the only way to be sure what you're consuming! I do love a homegrown tomato on my grass fed hamburger patty! At least our peach tree is rocking it this year for the first time in 22 years, gotta count the blessings! ~Cynthia

It’s been hotter this summer on average than previous summers. Plus.. the sun is different. I’m getting sunburn after sunburn. And that Doesn’t happen to me normally. As for your strange peppers, what about drying them out and using them as seasoning in your cooking so they don’t go to waste?
I Love raised beds.. I find it’s the best way to control weeds, and control the soil medium the plants are in.. like PH levels and nutritional requirements.

I wish we had peach trees here. From what I’m told, the only peaches we can grow are a Siberian variety. And I don’t think I want to go through the effort of growing some, without tasting the fruit first. As for using the title of the video, please do!!!
      Have a fantastic day!!

@@greenthumbprepper8653 Thank you, friend. We are preserving those hot peppers anyway! They are great in chili in the winter, just have to go easy on them. I did use your title in my talk and linked to this video in the i-cards as well. I agree that everything is different with this season for us as well. I also got a bit red outside, not really burned, but usually, if you don't consume sugar and seed oils, the sun doesn't react to toxins coming out of your pores, which is why I think some folks get burned. I never burn, but this year, I almost came close while dismantling a lot of fencing out in the full sun yesterday. Something is definitely off, Sean. So many of us feel it. God bless! ~Cynthia
