I'm glad that you were able to improve your time. If Alibre could open new documents a little faster, I'm sure you'd shave off at least 25seconds on top of this. By the way, did you get a chance to try new PDM beta?
Thanks a lot man. I don't think there's 25sec. Maybe 5-7 more sec in that effort Haven't tried it yet. I'll give it a go with the files I've made for the videos. But I've been a bit busy with work and don't want to migrate the work files yet
I'm trying! The 4 01 was even better but I make a huge mess of the final model. In any case, I tried. And I think I'll qualify which means that the true journey starts now!
Thanks man. I liked your vid too. Although I thought your system didn't quite keep up with the modeling. Don't know if that was because you were recording but that has to be worth a few sec
You're welcome, and thank you very much! Not so good though, but I think I was at least in 16th place. Haha! Yeah, for some reason, there's a bit of lag. It would probably add up to several seconds. I have to wait every time I'm selecting the direction of a boss, cut, etc. I select it too fast, and it doesn't do what I want, and I have to select it again. There's 3 seconds per.. For instance, if I want to cut through all both, and the last end condition was blind, I will select through all both too quickly, and it will remain at blind. You'd think it would be instantaneous. Why should I have to wait on my software? It should be much faster than me. I don't know. Maybe a driver issue, but I'm thinking it's 2024. I've heard from others that 24 seems to be slower than 23. I might have to go back to my 2020 seat.
Any advice on speeding it up would be greatly appreciated! I'm literally (and I hate saying "literally") have to wait until SW is ready for me to tell it what to do.
Yeah, don't have one. But really, I think that a decent gaming mouse is more than enough for CAD. As AaronC says in the TooTallToby competitions, the space mouse is definitely better for presenting. But for designing, I'm fine with a macro enabled gaming mouse.
Wow super cool!!
Thank you for posting this, this is the motivation i needed to get back into alibre 😊
Way to go man! Make the wonderful things that you can! Send a pic over at the forums, I'll be glad to see
Great video. Man you are getting fast.
Thanks man. I'm just trying to represent!!!

Mate, that was impressive.

You don't use those 3d space mouse things.
