      @@HAIRHOLIC_1 awww was it a wig or just a frontal? Frontals usually process faster. Probably needed less time, love

      @@thatgirlche just a frontal, because I usually just replace the frontals on my wigs, so I needed to match the rest of the hair, i did also use 20vol peroxide and I knew it would take less time, I went cleaned the bathroom, came back and it was already all blonde 😫😫. I wanted to make the process quicker but ended up doing twice the job by dying the hair brown 💀💀

    I did this and it just pulled yellow terribly. It would not lighten but pulled a lot of yellow. End up having to throw it away hundred dollars down the drain.

    The black wig you showed in the beginning isn't the same wig you bleached as it looks much longer , correct ?

      It’s the same wig. In the beginning it was brushed out and at the end it’s in its natural curly state!

      @thatgirlche it went amazing! I have trichatellamaina, and this is my 1st ever human hair wig, and it was a bit too dark for me, but this made it perfect and natural looking on me!

      I didn’t really measure how much it was just used a pot full of water. Just have enough water to the point where the wig is submerged!

      It depends on the quality of the wig but if it’s great quality and can be possible. It’ll have to be done in sessions and the hair will need a lot of protein treatments to preserve its integrity. Hope this helps🫶🏽

      @@thatgirlche thank you, I’m doing it rn. It’s so hard to find a kinky curly 613 wig to a platinum white. So I had to bleach my dark brown curly to a light brown and add the grey toners and shit the second session

      I used BW bleaching powder and clairol 30 vol developer. I had rinsed it out and shampooed/conditioned with cold water. I also did a treatment on the wig after the bleach bath. Yess, I let it air dry! Hope this helps🫶🏽

      Yess I used conditioner on the wig afterward and it became a nice chocolate brown after the bleach bath

    Did u use 20, 30 or 40 developer?

      30 vol since I ran out of 40, but if this is your first time try 20 or 30 to be on the safe side. It should still lift but will take more time. Hope this helps!

      You possibly can depending on the quality of the wig, but I’d recommend doing more than one process so you don’t compromise the integrity of the hair

      Your measurements could have been different from mine, but I’d suggest attempting to use blue shampoo if it’s looking brassy!

      Thank you for the advice. I did try. I lifted them up and then dyed them back to a medium brown. Still some red in them though. Sadly they've lost the curl and are now jus wavy. Ahhhh!

      I let the water cool down a bit so it isn’t unbearable, but I do prefer it hot. Heat helps to speed up the reaction, it’s the only way I’ve ever done my bleach baths. How do you do yours?👀

      I’ve never done it that way and I’ve done this plenty of times w very similar results each time. I also haven’t seen one with shampoo being added to the mixture. Are you referring to conditioner? That’d make more sense to me
