Been watching you and Van Can, so amazed by these old trails and the work that went into them. To think some of them are almost 25 years old and guys were riding them on old Judys and V brakes is insane. I'd love to see you ride them on a old school 90's bike. Im sure with your skills you could do it! Great channel :)
Thanks Mikey! It's pretty amazing isn't it? I got into mountain biking in the late 90s for a few years before switching over to trials riding so I know all about Judy's and v-brakes haha. Crazy to think that people were riding the same trails on such sketchy bikes.
Wow. I just did CBC for the first time 27 Jul 19. Except not on a bike. And not downhill. I was out doing a trail race and ran (pronounced: hiked) UP CBC and looked at every one of those gnarly features you rode. They looked brutal from below, with lots of time to check them out as I ascended. This trail looks amazing. Well done!
Great video documenting this trail. You went so fast too. I wanted to see how you did 3:20 and 6:00, Nice work! Those are scary when you check them out in person.
Holy moly yes. I looked at them up close. 3:20 looked way more technical just to get to the lip, and 6:00 looked like a nice rollup with a perfect vertical drop surface. Awesome.

@@ddangerousddave Your trials background certainly shows buddy! I need to get over there next summer. So sick.

Thanks!!
CBC could use some NSMBA love.
CBC doesn't fall under NSMBAs jurisdiction unfortunately

Sick video Dave! Where do you plan on biking next?
Can't say for sure, but now that the winter rains have started, it'll be somewhere with less greasy woodwork!
