Love this so much. I love that you guys just recorded these songs how you’d play them today rather than trying to copy+paste everything from the original EP. I feel like a lot of people are kinda missing that point
The original is the first song I've heard from these guys and I fell inpove ever since. I still got the same feeling from listening to this as it's my first time listening to Senses Fail.
the quality of this is great but the mix in the end came a little short. really need to hear both the guitars equally for the end to be impactful like it was
This reminds me of one of my exes was my high school sweet heart and I dont know all I know is I'm 22 and resolved my issues with her she has a kid now and happy I'm assuming I'm happy as well but I find peace in this song and remind myself it's okay especially when I'm home alone screaming and singing this song 🤘🏽
Can't believe I'm two months late on this, the og is still the best, but I'm digging it, did they rerecord the whole thing? Cause they should, freefall is too good and this is pretty sweet too
Personally, I think overall downer of this EP is the editing and mixing. Buddy’s vocal performance is great, it’s just so processed and most of the guitar tones sound like they’re from a laptop demo.
Compared to the old mix?? This is so much more clear. The old version sounds like it was recorded in a basement....low mids overtake the track and it sounds really muddy the tone of the guitars are pretty much lost. Im definitely a fan of the remake.
@@riseagainstfan1986 from an audiophile viewpoint, that's what makes it bordering on cringe. Only reason I can still listen to it is pure nostalgia. I always wanted to hear those tracks with proper screaming. Miss Garrett on Free Fall though.
I think this is awesome Granted, it's not the same as the original but buddy isn't the same guy he was when he wrote this The point of this was to show a return to form, and to let newer fans have a taste of what they used to sound like And honestly, at least it's not pop
This is just wrong...buddys voice is shot and they simplified the music down to almost nothing. They had to add so many effects to buddys vocals to where it just doesnt sound right and most of all feel right...
@chris rosmus if they used a decent bass tone the mids on the guitar wouldnt sound so present. thats what i hear at least. guitar sounds like some kid putting on some free random IRs on an amp sim lol
This version is ruining my memories. Original all the way. I don’t need to hear buddy’s voice in triplicate--it does nothing to add to the song. It makes me like it less. The original was so raw and them. This is super overproduced.
It feel more like he was trying too hard on the vocals imo. Not that its bad to try to sing well, I just don't think that's really what made this ep so good. They sound less raw and more produced
@@counter8630 yea. In the way the vocals are layered it just sounds like theyre trying to replicate the orignal sound but it just turned out bad in this
@@Jagger0718 its more that he is trying to sing using air/wider mouth, instead of that enlongated o face type of vowels.. idk if i like it cause hes still adding the nasal sound to a more airy technique, sounds off
This version: better mixing and mastering.
Old version: The feels tho
Thank you! I didn't realize this was a remastered version at first when it came up and I was like... something is missing.
@@PalmelaHandersonI am with you. Something was off here .. now I have to go out to storage. Dig out my CD tote and find a CD player to listen to it.
These songs bring back so many memories I remember exactly where I was when these songs entered my life and it was oh so good
Love this so much. I love that you guys just recorded these songs how you’d play them today rather than trying to copy+paste everything from the original EP. I feel like a lot of people are kinda missing that point
Bro, this was my fave song when i was 16!!!!!!!!! thank you for the vibes
This is why it went down last week...atleast give us both Buddy...i need the raw nostalgia
Laaame. Ep og not even close.
I love it tbh. The song lends itself really well to a more produced sound and Buddy sings better now than he did 16 years ago.
The original is the first song I've heard from these guys and I fell inpove ever since. I still got the same feeling from listening to this as it's my first time listening to Senses Fail.
Am I the only one who actually prefers this version? I actually like all the re-imagined songs from this EP better than the originals.
the quality of this is great but the mix in the end came a little short.
really need to hear both the guitars equally for the end to be impactful like it was
Ah. Well.. Hm. I like the original much better, but this isn't terrible. Still love Senses Fail.

Yes they did the whole album.
Saw it live last month and it was amazing!!!
I like this a lot better than I thought I did years ago but I still love the original the most
I like the harmonies in the pre chorus
It is what it is people. If you dont like this version then just dont listen to it.
Llama Drama Well we have to listen to it to see if we like it first. :P
@@anthilz damn. you got me XD
xD
Love it!
Einfach ein tolles Lied👏👏👏👏👏
The chorus is better than the original imo. I like how they added the “oh, oh” before the “youuu and me” section.
Esta padre no dejo esescurla!!
Pero me gusta la original mas!
Personally, I think overall downer of this EP is the editing and mixing. Buddy’s vocal performance is great, it’s just so processed and most of the guitar tones sound like they’re from a laptop demo.
It lacks the emotion the original has.
How so?
Emotion is still there but it lacks the early 2000s sound
I didn't know about the existence of this version, but I prefer the old one much more than this even though it obviously has a better sound quality
I wonder if they'll redo Let It Enfold You as well.
Probably not it was more produced
I love it
Is this a demo or a newer recording? Anyone know?
Sounds great.
Someone needs to fire the audio engineer. Still love this song no matter what. Buddy is legend.
Agreed. Sounds like shit

Where can I find all these re-recorded songs!@?!
🤘Love it🤘
I need a cover of Stay What You Are by Saves The Day or What It Is To Burn by Finch please.

Excuse me, what in the hell was that intro tone
counter lmfao
the part is also played really sloppy. rest of it sounds great though
That’s the tone of toxic nostalgia bro
Senses Fail living up to their name.
@@Thejayfrancis yes!!!!
OG 100%

what happened to the music video?
Kevin Nash tore a quad to this

BACK intoo
If it isn’t broke why fix it??
Im sorry i love senses fail so much but this aint the original 2003 version
This version has a good quality, but it lacks the same emotions as the original version. I prefer the original version of this song!
I prefer this version unless I'm with old friends
I like
This
Wasnt feeling it at first but its actually kinda dope. The original is the tits though!!!
The old one was sooooo much better
What the heck
this sounds very different from the original...
I wish it didn't sound so weird
Why they have to change the whole tone ? It sound like a robot singing not human
Leave corona circle city my cash disappear
I prefer the original from 2003
Prefer the original
I hate when they re-record and change the original sound
Isn't it a different line up? And it's just a cleaner sound compared to an EP recorded ten years ago, better production
Nigel Dean it’s the same vocalist. N yeah it’s a better pro but you’ll find me playing the original that’s over 10 years old than this one.
the original was more lofi and thats why its better. this sounds way too over-produced
Oh God please turn that flanger off during the intro..not needed at all
Og is way better than this ..😑

This SUCKS compared to the original. Auto-tuned. Over engineered. Human element is gone
this remaster is horrible
well its a remake not a remaster, but agree
The other songs are all fine, this one just fucking butchered the original.
the cover art is almost as lazy this this whole rework of this whole album =(
how to butch ur own song make it softer lol
But thanks for making this video
This is trash compared to the old version. Fact
Nah.
Gross
The vocals are cringe worthy. They sound lazy as hell like buddy isnt even trying and not just on this but all of these remasters

This sounds terrible dude like wtf is this shit? I understand it's like 15 years later but shit man if it aint broken don't fix it lol.
They didn't try fixing it though. The point of this was to see how the older songs would sound in their new style.
