- Paris Hilton opened up about an unforgettable moment in her life while she was at Provo Canyon School in Utah.
The 41-year-old hotel heiress discussed with New York Times during a recent interview about the sexual abuse experience she had at the school. She also took to Twitter to share that horrifying moment. She tweeted on October 11, “At Provo Canyon School, I was woken up in the middle of the night by male staff who ushered me into a private room and performed cervical exams on me in the middle of the night. Sleep-deprived & heavily medicated, I didn’t understand what was happening. I was forced to lie on a padded table, spread my legs & submit to cervical exams.”

How old was she?? If it stated how old she was I didn't hear it sorry
The fact its been decades and she's still haunted by these experiences just shows how severely traumatising everything she went through was
Traumatic experiences have lifelong memories, and it has permanent effects for those who suffered from abuse. Sometimes it haunts us in nightmares, or something that triggers it. At times, individuals believe they are okay enough until something puts them back to not a good state. It's even more hurtful to know, the ones who hurt us are not being punished for what they did and we suffer even more. (it could be they aren't ready to speak up for many factors, or spoke out but negative comments and lack of support etc). The affects on abuse can impact individuals differently and how they cope and heal.
I appreciate Paris sharing and staying strong, and being vulnerable as she knows what they did to her and others isn't right and they shouldn't be getting away from their consequences.
So traumatized that she did nude photos shoots and made multiple sex tapes a decade later.
@@jaybz1276 that's... got nothing to do with anything
@@jaybz1276 I find your comment to be degrading and highly disgusting. Paris Hilton experienced abuse which isn't in her control and those individuals took advantage of her.
It has nothing to do with her nude photoshoots or whatever she chooses to do within her own control and freedom.

It's great that someone with her status is speaking up on this so the message and support is spread to those who are suffering now.

Child abuse and child disregard and child sex labour and like people are actively travailing in countries with this issue and are like participating and then they come back to there countries and take there sick believes I onto the children in like "first countries" coverment is not investigating in this they are looking out for terroroist and chasing criminals were like armoire is of use so they can use there gadgets like little bored children and not like grown ups that have the responsibility to protect not play hero earn government money and chill there lifes. I wish everybody felt responsible for the children of this planet..Like abuse is found in too many places..

Why did she wait until now to report it? I'm curious as to why she waited so long to say anything.
@@dissatisfiedcustomer6423 Many victims take a long, long time to talk about it because they just don’t even want to think about it. It’s just so incredibly traumatizing that some rather never talk about because it’s extremely difficult to even acknowledge what happened.
Paris is a prime example of someone whom I’ve viewed as having it all. Listening to her harrowing experiences is proof that you never know what someone’s life is like - irrespective of how good it looks from the outside - until you walk a mile in their shoes. Kudos and respect to her for speaking out and sharing her story to help others.
Well said.
Stop judging people and think they have it all
If it can happen to her (with status and wealth) it can happen to anybody. I'm glad she spoke up.
They may have picked on her because she was rich, for some other sick reason to make her feel low as they are. Nasty bastar@s. She’s brave to be telling us all. Too many of us suffer this in silence.
As a sexual abuse survivor I thank her for being brave enough to speak up and use her celebrity status to do good so others don’t go through this too. Thank you Paris ❤

Here's a few things you'll never see happen in this fantasy she's dreamed up. An actual person to point to specifically, who abused her, and no actual witness, unless paid to make something up. Such a fraud.
She is very brave to share her horrific story! I am angry with her parents for not checking in on her and because she lives with this nightmare of abuse everyday....very sad.
I think a lot more of Paris now and a lot less of her parents
I have always found it interesting that no one is holding her parents even a little accountable for what happened to her. Disgusting.😢
@@fun_girl12 If I understand her history her parents got their act together about sometime when she became a reality television personality. I honestly don’t know how she feels about them presently. So far as I know she’s been very responsible with her words. By which I mean she is taking responsibility for when she acted out in her 20s, and has kept the focus where the discussion should be. That in her youth she was sent to a reform school that was supposed to help Her with what was an unhappy home life (Child neglect). Instead they took advantage of her and the money that they were getting from the Hilton family paying the bill.
@@antmagor that’s all true, but if anybody with an ounce of common sense would know an institution that comes into your home in the middle of the night and physically ‘kidnaps’ your child, whilst you stand by and watch, is not going to be the best place for a young person that needs a better life direction. Her parents have skipped the scrutiny in my opinion, and I just don’t get why? 🤷♀️
Were drugs involved? Do you think they may have been scared at the direction she was going in? I say this as a person who had two very rich girls at my school OD in the span of 3 semesters.
It's so powerful when someone without financial incentive or reward speaks up about institutional abuse. In Australia- nearly all cases 'settle' in the legal process.. and that word itself is incredibly offensive. Paris has such a dignified strength- and her quiet voice is incredibly loud 💖
of course there's incentive. its promo for her by way of whatever trendy issue people are talking about. shes old, no one is talking about her like they did in the 2000's. just like if selena gomez talks about justin bieber, everyone goes crazy

Paris seems like a really lovely person. I'm sorry I used to judge her, and I'm sure probably many others feel the same. This shows a completely different side of her.
I feel the same. This may have been the reason why she acted out before. I feel sooo guilty for judging her and so proud of her for speaking up, let alone thankful for her survival.
I think I probably did too but I had a homegirl that had us watching simple life when we’d go to her house in high school days so I always thought she was hilarious 😂
Ikr. Nowadays whenever I see rebellious teens, I'm asking the reason behind it. Sure, some people are rebellious, but it shouldn't be to the point of self-destruction.
Lol she is definitely not a nice person.do you think she cares about regular working people lol I doubt it.i understand what happened to her is messed up but she is rich other than that she has no real worries.
I've always liked her 😊

Im shaking on the inside just hearing stories about sexual abuse. Hopefully justice will be served.
Me too. I'm so angry this happens DAILY and nobody cares. Nobody ever cares about women and girls. A man's bright future and satisfaction is more important...all..the...time...I'm sick of this world...
Do you not feel disgusted that Paris who was born a male was forced as a small child to become a female (probably castrated) and paraded around on the world stage to mock real women who the elite hate?
So proud of her, just so proud that she is bravely using her platform to diligently help others.
Paris Hilton is a victim and crusader for abandonment, parental dis-association, highly creative and unique child, and shame and blame. If her zillionaire parents can’t keep their child safe, gosh imagine how hard for regular people
I understand what you're saying, but on the other hand, sometimes the super wealthy have too many distractions and probably aren't always the best at knowing what's going on with or being invested in their children's lives. Think of how many celebrities seem to have messed up kids.

Sadly her parents sent her there against her will as a type of "reform camp"
If the parents had any sense they’d raise her at home. Many wealthy just have kids as accessories. They kids get in the way and so they cant be bothered to raise them because they are too self-centred and greedy and so they boot them off so they can blame others for their failings as parents.

Thank you for being a voice and advocate! These monsters need to be in prison for at least 50 yrs prison sentence!!!
Why are there so many child abusers? It is so depressing knowing that there are so many out there that police seem barely able to cope with it.
its because the most fearful types of this world are those who feel the need to manipulate and control their way to power because they have no faith in themselves or the world,
so, they utilize the most vulnerable, easily manipulated targets.
This is either those smaller or younger than them, so unfortunately, women and children as they are usually smaller in stature, or younger and more susceptible. Feeding on the most vulnerable (innocent) souls, is what provides these types the ultimate power trip
So happy that she can share her story. There's power in sharing.
I’m so sorry that happened to you. Thank you for speaking up.
So brave. It can be even more traumatizing to share your story with another let alone the world. Many blessings to her and the mission.
This is amazing of her to take a stand and do this. She obviously didn't have to. It's something she feels strongly about and wanted to protect future youth from it reoccurring.
What do you expect when you turn your child over to strangers and can’t communicate with them so that they can “fix” what you don’t want to deal with.
Exactly like some parents bring children into the world and just because they can’t handle their own children, they want to all of a sudden want to give up on them and let someone else do the parenting job for them…
You don’t expect this. Why would anyone suspect that illegal sex acts are being performed on minors?
@@ChrisW228 well you should. You have a troubled child and instead of putting them in therapy or working on resolving their issues, you dump them in a closed facility and give them rights to imprison your child on your behalf. How can you be sure what's being done to your kid in a facility like this? Don't forget that we're talking about troubled teens, that means that most of them won't even speak up to their parents about any abuse they go through there because of resentment. You haven't seen the real world if you still think this way.
@@divx1001 I’d agree with you if we were talking about spanking or something else that is controversial but legal. Any parent sending their child to school has the expectation that nothing illegal is happening. Things happen in regular public schools, too. Would we ever dare blame the parents in that situation? Of course not. You’re basically victim shaming.

Someone saying to me "you're brave", I find it completely off topic, first I don't need to be brave, second I am not the point, to truly support, hear with heart because to see that finally what we say is heard, to be believed is the step to exit. @BB They didn't know. Don't say that. Trust that if you end up with a child that no matter what you do, they insist on putting themselves in danger & you have resources, you will do the same. There is so much we know now, previous generations didn't & couldn't. A lot of us don't even realize that most parents are babies themselves when they start procreating.
They are barely in their 20s. This is why it so wrong to be pro-life & force so many to have children when they don't want to. It's hard enough when you chose to become a parent. Also bare in mind that the vast majority of girls no matter the circumstances are still molested by family members & male siblings. There is no safety anywhere against predators.
Have you heard of the term baby burlesque? Well people all over the world use to pay & enriched producers of soft korn thinking it was innocent & cute. Look at the back lash with Tiffany Haddish, a decade ago, it wouldn't even have been an issue. So don't be so quick to always blame parents who want their children, planned for their children & doing their best with rebellious teenagers. Do you know how many are kidnapped every year? And never to be seen. It's terrible what happen to Paris, but since she wants children, she will find out what terror she put her mother through by sneaking out, while being a trust fund baby. You may be too young, but the rest of us, were the ones criticizing, when we saw Kathy & her husband accompanying Paris in Night clubs & sitting there like dumb asses, when their daughter would dance on top of tables while they would sit there & do nothing. The minute you become parent, its damn if you do & damn if you don't. You just don't win!

@@stanbalo so u know her parents, right? What else do u happen to know? Just wondering..
She s the abuse enabler for sure
@@lisasop2681 what i said is common knowledge and you just want to paint Kathy as a bad mom.
I'm proud of her coming forward to tell her story, and I'm also proud of the all the support from these comments. This is how it's supposed to be.❤
Are there any other children (now adults) who have corroborated her statements?
Her story is hers stop being pedantic
@@georgia8592 - Paris has honesty issues. She said she and other were taken into rooms. What others? Has this been verified? I don’t know, but there’s nothing wrong with asking as she has lied before.
yes there are others
@@Erin-Thor By rooms she means exam rooms and tables.
And the staff was a doctor.
STILL it's "now" considered unethical to exam a "child" without cooperation and consent.
Though in technically a parent could and still can consent for the child.
But unless it's L&D (tetanus shot, SA kit, CPR, choking) no one should be holding a child down.
Also part of the problem is 17 year olds still get a pediatrician.
People treating toddlers and college freshmen in the same office.
(Obviously different social, physical, and mental boundaries)
It can make things blurry.
@@SanFranDentist94301 - I didn’t mean have the “rooms” been corroborated, I meant have the claims she and OTHER GIRLS were sexually violated been corroborated? Paris Hilton has lied on multiple occasions. It’s a simple question… HAVE ANY OTHER WOMEN REPORTED THE SAME THING TO BACK UP PARIS HILTONS CLAIMS.
