The term "museum quality" is often over-used, but here is a case where it is truly applicable. The scenic work is outstanding, and I love the cameo scenes such as the shepherd on the over bridge, and the workmen looking at the drain in the station yard. There is only one other French prototype layout which I have seen that is even in the same league as this - Gordon Gravett's 1:50 scale metre guage masterpiece "Pempoul". Bravo! What an inspiring piece of model making, and great camera work from the Pilentum team too.
Is the outside 3rd rail powered or is it just for appearance? Outside 3rd rail operation was common on O scale many years back, but I never saw it used on HO scale trains.
When I see the precision and details of this marvelous landscape, I believe that some of the people who build it are working in watch industry in France-Comté and Switzerland, or at the nearby Peugeot factory/headquarters.😁
Trains do not look weatherd much and I am glad. Real railroads do not want their trains to be dirty. I like trains run right out of the box the way the model makers color them to look nlce and new! l

Niby wszystko cacy ale...bolączka wielu makiet i pokazów- nienaturalnie szybki start pociągów. Skład prowadzony parowozem rusza z kopyta, drze zola aż miło popatrzeć i po 5 sekundach osiąga swoją prędkość maksymalną :) druga sprawa to ruch modeli elektrowozów na torach gdzie nie ma trakcji elektrycznej. Wygląda to nieco irracjonalnie.
Co do ruchu - zgoda, ale w sprawie zasilania elektrowozów - mamy odmienne zdanie! Każdy kto choć ciut zna kolej francuską, wie, że to linia zasilana tzw. trzecią szyną, a tę modelarze odtworzyli na swojej makiecie. Jazda elektrowozami po "bezdruciu" to - niestety - specjalność polskich "modelarzy"...
Tak, dokładnie tak. Lokomotywy elektryczne przeznaczone do obsługi tej linii miały oprócz pantografów także "łapy" do poboru prądu z tzw. trzeciej szyny.
