- I had the opportunity to get in the gym with Emoni Bates last week while I was up in Michigan and get an insight into how hard the No. 1 freshman in the country works when no one's looking. A lot of people think Emoni's success is solely driven by his height at a young age, but as you can see in this workout, he's worked for and earned everything up to this point. He told me multiple times he's just worried about getting better everyday. That's a great mindset to have at 14 years old.
