This is the most creative take on Sonic.EXE I’ve seen in a while. Keep it up man this might be a genuinely interesting series instead of the same Sonic murdering his friends stuff
First of all, this is really cool! Actually managed to get me to tense up a bit.
Second of all, throughout the video, I noticed some barely visible texts, most likely commentary from Not-Nic. Here they are with the stamps:
[ 2:02 ] - " *OBSERVANT AREN'T YOU* "
[ 3:13 ] - " *INTERESTING MONIKER. EVEN IF INCORRECT* " (Probably refers to the fact the actual name of the cryptid is "Greyscale" and not "Not-Nic", I think?)

At around 0:44 you can see it says "YOU THINK I LEFT?" on the bottom left corner.
This should have a lot more views, this is an awesome Sonic.EXE rewrite concept!

1:38 at this point. Greyscale walks past sonic as the music slows down. Like he’s getting in position.
1:45 greyscale literally runs away when sonic reaches the finish line. Even the sonic sign changed. Being pitch dark with sonic still there
2:05 you can barely see greyscale there. It’s hard but he’s there, watching
2:16 greyscale basically peaks its head. And then leaves. Somehow leaking blood.
2:41 Here. Grayscale escapes again. But this time. He defeated, no. He BRUTALLY killed eggman for mark. Skipping the boss entirely. Grayscale did the job for him
3:40 somehow greyscale manage to enter the sign and change it to his name.
4:45 and there he is. In his dimension. I’ll call it the darklands

The scene at the end is just holy shmoly I cannot explain how accurate it is to the mega drive and yet so horrifying. Everything here feels like it could be on an actual cartridge the way it’s edited voice acting is amazing I want to see more :333

One thing I would say is that the animation is a little off sometimes but other then that this is really cool
i do intend to improve the animation in future installments, due to it bein my first time tryin to replicate gameplay

check the credits of the video on that channel, im the guy who made it, that channel experienced a weird issue and suddenly went down a day after i posted the video, while it did get reinstated, i didnt want to risk losing the content randomly, so i posted it here.
so to clarify, that channel was an alt i made for the series, but it experienced some technical issues so i reuploaded it here to be safe, and am going to upload the rest of the series here from now on
