First off, I swear, every time I make a new Classic Remix, it becomes my new favorite in my collection. Rez, my dude, thank you so much for requesting this, I had an absolute blast remixing this song!
Second, I've pretty much become a sucker for world music. Just all the different styles and instruments used throughout the world, it's all just... MMM, top quality. I love using different instruments and drums in these remixes, making it sound as authentic as I can make it while also giving it all my own twist.

Yep! I saw this video a while ago that compared older Sonic music to newer songs that most likely referenced those older ones, so I thought it would be cool to reference the Sonic 1 credits theme in this remix considering it would be used for a Classic Sonic level.
Very cool indeed! I loved the 8-Bit Sonic Games (1, 2 Chaos, Triple Trouble, and Blast) and as a kid, I played them via the Sonic Mega Collection Plus on my PS2. Imma try to get it for the original Xbox so I can play it on my Xbox 360 (cus it's backwards compatible) along with Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, and maybe even Sonic Riders.

Finally... After seven years, I find someone who understands that "Classic" and "Modern" remixes aren't restricted or defined by specific instruments or by single genre styles, but were actually made up of different styles and genres by different musicians with their own unique interpretations of a set of songs.
"Classic" and "Modern" mixes are up to the interpretation of the artist.
While I'd love to hear modern remixes from you, I think this is a fantastic Classic styled remix of Savannah Citadel.
This is great. The only thing I have to say about it, is the instruments sound and quality take away form the atmosphere the original song conveys, though it still works really well.
Classic Remixes sound round and bouncy, like the simplistic platforming of Classic Sonic, Modern Remixes are usually faster or more action-packed, like the fast gameplay of Modern Sonic. I see no use in determining it based on instrument choice.

If Savannah Citadel was to be the Unleashed Representative in Sonic Generations, then I could just imagine it essentially being a more laid-back and easy-going designed version of Sandopolis, while also chucking in some elements of Dust Hill, Desert Palace, Yellow Desert and Rainy Savannah for good measure.
I know why this isn't mazuri that represent unleashed in generations, it's because wii and ps2 players didn't have savannah citadel in the game
I love how at certain points, the music actually matches up incredibly well with the gameplay in the background.

Man this sounds so Sonic CD in so many aspects, it really feels like if Unleashed was made back in the 90's this is probably how it could had sounded, amazing job man.

Woow, I liked it a lot, the music is similar to the other songs of the Classic Sonic, such as: Crisis City, where the instrumentation guitar was also used, it is very good, made and I would like some remix of a music by the levels of modern games but passing them to the classic style of Generations. 10/10 IGN. LOL
