(G)I-dle really released the **gayest** song a Korean artist has ever released the other day "Oh my God" There is an English version too which somehow manages to make the song even more blatantly sapphic. The best part? The leader wrote all the lyrics, produced the song AND helped with direction of the video. You won't regret reacting if you do it!
Y’all should really dig deeper because it has been announced that they (Seulgi and Irene) would form a sub-unit and release an album soon.
To me, they are the most believable and also most tragic ship in Red Velvet. Mainly because all of their interactions tend to be off-cam, it’s like they’re aware of the cameras and try to make it lowkey. As both of them are extremely career-focused (Seulgi trained for 7yrs, Irene trained for 5yrs, they’ve been together since 2009) , it would be reasonable because of South Korea stigmas towards LGBTQ in general and it could ruin their career.
Also FYI, Seulgi and Irene has been the top #1 and #2 most pick by lesbians and bisexuals in China and South Korea for three years straight. Their ship is also in the top ships in KPOP, which is mostly hetero, that tells how popular Seulrene is.

All you need to see if it come to a ship in Red Velvet is WenRene, beside seulrene. This ship is on another level of sweetness. Just find the newest vidoe of them. Or if not, react to wenrene 'cold war' era (i cant remembered the title of the video) by wenrene-bao. There is 2 version which is in the cold war era and the other one is after the cold war. And there is a lot of their moments together

If you're looking for skin ship and touching during choreo, def go with seulrene. Seulrene is considered one of the most popular, mostly because of the visuals, and the fact that they've been friends for 11 years. They are considered one of the closest, but they don't seem as close as they used to be, ngl. But, they are probably the most promoted ship by SM (hence the Seulrene sub-unit).
On the other hand, if you're looking for constant stares and looking at one another, go with wenrene. Wenrene is the rival ship to Seulrene, and what i would consider far more realistic. They're not more sensually touching, but they're the more delicate ones, where you would handle a lover with deep care. Seemingly more close recently (well, before Wendy's incident #GetWellSoonWendy), but SM doesn't really promote them. There is even a joke (not really a joke) that SM hates Wenrene.
Anyways, def check out some more seulrene and some wenrene videos. Whatever you guys choose to ship, just have fun with it :D

Taking any ship from kpop seriously is kinda cringe and sad. Let these girls live how they want to, if they happened to be dating (lowkey or not), that's their business. The only reason I see to watch ship videos is to appreciate their friendships. Taking any of it seriously seems like a huge leap, a leap that's kinda invasive.
