We got this for the toddler room ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxdzUap46p9ViXhKZf5mK_bXOb89EHxTqq because of the bladeless feature. Actually has a lot more power than I thought it would. Can still feel the air moving well 6 feet away, which is farther than I would expect from a desk fan. My daughter dropped twice and still works. I haven't checked out how long it lasts on a charge yet, but the air output was still good for the few minutes it was unplugged. My daughter also likes the color lights feature, but I don't really care for it and can be annoying to go through all the options before it turns off. Overall, happy with the purchase, especially for the price

I spray my mixture of Vinegar and water...wipe it down. Let sit overnight. Then use my vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment. All done!!! Never do I sit and poke at the air vents! Works perfect everytime 👍

I have the same problem with the same model fan as you do. I got mine in June 2021 and only used it during the summer period. The fan is guaranteed for 2 years. I phoned Dyson and they send out spar part replacements for the machine free of charge while it’s under the guarantee. They sent me out a new body. I am wondering if a whether a small shaver brush might work to clean it or even a very powerful vacuum cleaner with a powerful suction. It’s just a thought. Thank you for your video and showing me it can be clean very satisfactorily. Even though it’s extremely time consuming and one needs the patients of a saint to clean it every few months. I use a vacuum with brush attachment. It gets the job done in 1 minute.

Take a roll of first aid medical gauze from any store. Wrap it around that intake and cut to length. Use a piece of tape if you like. Turn it on. The pressure will keep the gauze sticking to the surface and filter out anything large enough to cause problems and when it gets dirty you can throw the gauze away and replace. I do not recommend taking it apart and attempt to put filter material on the inside. You have to take apart 4 layers of plastic to get to the bottom which is a real pain. And it is very easy to mess up re-assembling if you don't take a few pictures as you go along.

I use a paint brush and bash the holes. Also, you can take the motor out if you remove the black holding plate in the fan and then clean from the back of the holes too.

How do you get the top part of the air blade off. Before I fixed my unit by going in from the bottom. And that is very hard to take apart. SO how do u get the top part off. Thanks

Disassemble completely and soak the vented portion in a pot of warm water with dawn dish soap for an hour. Take a air compressor and air nozzle and blow all of the water out of the small vent holes. Use a towel to squeeze dry the foam ring that’s inside the vented portion. Reassemble opposite as you took apart. Take pictures prior to disassembly.

This is why I decided to buy their purifier variants. No more hole poking as the dust will be stuck in the filters.

google for Dyson am07 disassembly instructable or this video (similar model): ua-cam.com/video/Z_pMTZlcBEY/v-deo.html You need a torq 8 to open the am07, that's pretty much it. However, the machine is actually aligned very tightly together. Needs to be put back carefully. As such, minor cleaning like this has it's place.

A pipe cleaner will work much better as it will brush away the dust not just push it in and you need to clean the entire hole. Brush pick for tooth braces is good as well for those of us that are anal about stuff like this.you can glue several close together to a popsicle stick to get at several at a time. Then vacuum to touch up.

This fan is utter garbage. What "genius" engineer designed this ? We only have one because my wife won one at work. It looks cool, but doesnt blow more air than one you can buy at Walmart for $30, and this fan is louder. Those holes plug so easily, and if you put it in the bathroom where hairspray is used, forget about it

more than half the video was on how you just poked each and every hole, I think 1 minute of it and everyone gets the idea, unless each hole is unique and has to be poked differently :)
