If you're new to my channel, my name is Daniel Masaba. I am a retired medical doctor, the Founder and Director of Farm Up. It's a farming enterprise that did over $1,500,000 in revenue last year and is on course to beat that this year. We mainly focus on poultry farming, that's breeding day old chicks for supply to farmers, and production of table eggs on a large scale. But, how did I get here?
2016: Graduated as a doctor at 24.
2019: Started my first poultry farm with 800 chickens on borrowed land.
2021: Co-founded a breeder farm with a partner on 400 acres of land
2021: Resigned from my job as a doctor to focuss on my businesses
2022: Passed $1,000,000 in annual revenue from the poultry business
2024: Started the Farm Up Academy to help othe poultry farmers start and scale their farms.

All I can say is that Dr Daniel you've inspired most of us. Many successful farmers scare us to start with their fancy structures and they start telling us in order to make meaning structure is too important but hey Dr Daniel always reminds you that fancy structures isn't the key point as long as the available structure can meet the minimum required standards. In fact that inspired me to start faming with little money I had

Many times goat's can injure sheep
The reason probably they don't want to mix goat and sheep is superstition. I am from the Philippines, old folks tell me not to mix different kinds of birds. Like chicken and ducks, goose and chicken, quail and chicken. They say do not mix them as one may overpower the other and only one specie will survive. It is really up to you if you are superstitious or not. To believe or not to believe. I'd say if you don't believe them, mix them up. But if you do, separate them. You do you. We have the right to believe what we believe.

Why is the toilet block so far away from the rooms? Why didn't you build a structure with a common kitchen and two bedrooms with a bathroom attached?
I need an agent answer please daniel can it happen that layer's chicken can nevel layer coz i have chickens which are 26weeks and i just find out from slaughtering one that they have a very tight eggs
10m by 6m how many goats does it accommodate
But why is your Pit Latrine above the house? I don't ever get that.
The latrine supposed to be on the lower part not the house
It would be better if the house was facing towards the goat shed, or the goat shed to be in front of the house. Or to have windows from the back so that you can the goat while you are inside the house.

Great job , for the housing it looks great but for me would have done a raised floor that way the dropping can flow downwards and it will be easy to clean
True. A raised house here would be quite hard to put up due to the slope
