i think a mix between helldivers and battlefield would be amazing , you get more player , say 50 players at least per game , which makes it feel like a war , and maybe not allow all of them to use the nukes and other stuff , only allow it to the top team in the game with most kills or points or whatever
They need to make a new SOCOM ps1/ps2 game built on this style. Imagine the pvp sweats you get. Just gotta be able to script it where corner peeking is blinding unless you lean on your aim. Yall dont even know about SOCOM U.S. Navy SEAL
They won't add pvp though bc the whole idea is you (the helldivers) vs the bugs/robots. I understand where you are coming from though. I think they'd plan on adding vehicles and different weapons and such. Tbh every game is repetitive bc you technically do the same thing over and over, it depends on the devs to add enough verity to the loop for people to keep playing the game.
The game needs more, the game is repetitive. The core gameplay loop will always be to helldive. If you look at the first game, thats all you need to know about if itll get more content over time. Of course it will. Vehicles, new enemies, new weapons, new strategems, and etc. And with the success its having, that stuff is definitely coming now. However, give the game longer than a week before we start complaining?
The game just came out, there is no way you have discovered everything in that game. How's the repetitiveness differ from Div2, we legit do the same shit every day 😂😂😂😂
Call of Duty tried PVP in DMZ and look where it is now. Nobody is playing it. It is filled with toxic players that kill you at spawn using advanced gear. The same thing would happen to Helldivers if they added PVP.
Now I know why it was only $40. Game has potential, but it’s boring and repetitive. I was expecting new missions and storming into buildings with guns blazin. Could’ve had motor bikes, tons of ammo, guns, enemies, major collectibles, customization, etc. This game is just so dry and desolate it’s not even funny. I had fun at first and met some cool players along the way, but wish I never bought this game. Don’t waste your money if you’re looking at buying this game.
I truly do not understand this game... Starship Troopers was out like a month prior and no one gave a shit but then all of a sudden a couple influencer streamers start playing this crap and it takes off like the hot new thing.... the game isn't worth $40... I haven't bought it becuase I can watch a couple videos and that's the entire games offering within 5 minutes..... terrible and lazy shit.. not to mention the few times I have played at a friends house the game was buggy and horrible to control
Most kids these days just use games to talk to each other so I think that’s why this games is loved they just spend the whole day talking so the gameplay and variability takes backseat because repetitiveness is what they want
Downloaded the game 24 hours ago and feel like the dopamine is wearing off. Every planet feels the same, enemy variation is poor and all these points are objective no matter who gets hurt by it. Had this game been released in the early 2000s it would be considered one of the greatest games ever, thats just how much potential it has but also shows u how dated the content is in this game in 2024. Why cant be color our outfits? Decals? Clans?
Also, there are other enemy types in the game (automatons) which you didnt speak on. Showing us you didnt experience everything the base game has to offer.
@@souldrum86the game just launched, ofc it doesnt have over a thousand different things to experience at this point. It's not a singleplayer rpg, it's a live service coop games that will continue to see updates with new stuff coming... Yall are too damn quick about saying it doesn't have enough stuff. Theres also many planets we have not seen yet that are locked behind galaxy map and apparently the first game also had faction bosses and super earth could be attacked. In a update soon they will also give us vehicles in the game.
@@pleasedontkillme1185 Since when are we defending games that are incomplete at launch? I remember when our games were finished before we booted them up.
The missions already get a lot more complex as you move up each difficulty level. By Helldive difficulty you barely have enough time to cover the optional missions and search for resources. I bet you’re right though. We already know they’re adding mechs, and new stratagems, and a new War Bond the second Thursday of each month, and I assume vehicles since the first game had them. And the game will evolve over time. With the sheer size of the playerbase, they’ve already said they have scrapped the original post launch plans and intend to go even bigger than they had previously intended to with future content. Will be interesting to see how it evolves.
Your friend in this video was only level 12, of course playing missions at higher difficulties at that point is not gonna be much fun and just consist of you running around, you have not unlocked almost anything yet at that point. And you say “its starship troopers but in video game form” as if thats a bad thing but that concept sounds awesome to me, i don’t think every game needs to have pvp if you force pvp in every game like they did in Farcry 4 and Destiny you will just be left with empty servers after a few years unless it becomes really popular, and pvp would just take away players from the massive war that needs players in order to win it. I do agree the game is starting to get repetitive at lower levels without friends to play it with, but i do believe the game gets better if you have a squad of 4 doing high level missions, and they just need to keep adding stuff otherwise this game will just slowly disappear.
I couldn’t play this game more than a couple hours, I was excited after watching the cinematic until started running it’s was so slow I started eating while playing cause I found it boring too and I got to difficultly 5. And there is only one mode and it cost almost the price of a full game. I think it’s just Fortnite crowd looking for new games
Amazing graphics amazing gameplay but after a few hours I was looking for more...needs different type of missions and deeper customization of weapons and gear.
After almost 200 hours, I am uninstalling this game. It is fun at first and has its memorable moments, it is also very cinematic, the graphics and audio are great and the weapons feel good to handle but it becomes repetitive really quickly as the mission variety is quite limited and you spend too much time just running around from point A to point B. It has many problems with crashing, the balancing patches/nerfs are hit-and-miss and let me tell you about the feeling of playing a 40 minute mission only to be kicked out before extraction for no reason... Unless they stop with the nonsensical nerfs, find a solution for the people that kick you after a great mission so you won't get any rewards and xp... it is a NOPE FROM ME \ Out of around 20 people that I started to play with, each patch/nerf some quit and only 5 of us were remaining, this latest patch made 3 of us quit too... way to go devs... it is a PvE not a PvP GAME One example: I recently got - after grinding for it- the premium warbond with the Eruptor, it was good but far from OP, I liked it, changed my playstyle to acommodate its weaknesess. Then new patch not only nerfed this gun but DOUBLE nerfed it...+ made some enemies more resistant to explosive damage....enough is enough.... We need to be strong as we fight armies and the enemies are getting stronger.... STOP NERFING GOOD WEAPONS AND ELEVATE OTHERS INSTEAD..... thank you for making me quit this game, now I have time for other things. I honestly can not recommend this game as it is now.
The game is definitely different to say the least however the agenda behind the game is to have fun with friends and make you think a little bit just run and shoot your weapons without a thought bc we have friendly fire love it. As for the game getting harder and you stated running around and can’t shoot what that equals to is that that individual did not have a say d good load out prepped or don’t have the higher gear equipment. The game is great so far. If you want fun without the bs here it is.
YES I played 5 hours with a friend.. we decided to take a break.. hours later he messaged me to get back on and I'm debating refunding it while I can... Bioshock 1-3 Remastered is available for $12 right now to give a perspective on what this game offers for $40
I think the game is just not for you. I noticed that you play the division 2. I played that too, not anymore though. It is also repetitive after many hours, but the story is interesting (close to 500 hours playtime). Helldivers is always the same at its core and niche market. But if I have 30-60 minutes playtime, I would rather play helldivers over division. Because I dont need to worry about loot and do mission and done with it.
I dont think its too much repetetive, but if your a player that had experience alot ( from games like metal gear, shooters, online competetive games ) when you reach level 50 and played the game at hardest difficulty you pretty much finish the game in 65 hours ( max ), the newer players and casuals has more tolerance and have more fun playing lower difficulties ( they cant play above 7th difficulty ) soo thats why most people can have more fun, but its 2024 we are not kids this game is great, not hyped, earned its place from its quality, rather than advertisement COD and other trash games makes
I'm seeing this 4 days after it's been out. that being said for someone who plays games I would think you would understand that certain developers have no intention of making a game for pvp. the first and this game are about having fun With Friends. if you did your due diligence in research you would have been able to find old videos and new that would have clearly told you what type of game this is. and the whole thought process behind the Developers. the irony of you talking about Starship Troopers is the developers literally made this game inspired by Starship Troopers and other movies around that time. also if you did research you would already know that bugs aren't the only thing in the game from day one. they have the Terminator bots in here too. the developers also prior to your video being out stated that there was more to come. this is one of those games that isn't meant to be overly complex or PVP competitive. the core idea is to have fun expected to die and have funny moments when you do with with friends or people that you just run into. also they literally stated they would never have PVP for or they did not want you to create a toxic environment that Trends with every other competitive game as such..... this game isn't going to be for everybody however most people like to play a game that they don't have to take serious and can have fun even without some elaborate story.... also if you haven't learned by now games like this typically are in the niche category like Elden ring the developers did not expect the draw of people that have come to play and like the game. they literally had to buy more servers and even right now as I'm typing this they're still capped out less than 24 hours. they're not a big team they actually hiring more people because of this. I only say all this cuz I like your content for division however I think you missed big on this.
Another hyped game that feels very underwhelming the gameplay is fun but the clucky controls and the repetitive mission get old real quick and i played it with a couple of friends pretty fked up that you can only play with 4 so we always had one person left out wich was fking annoying 6/10 fun game the 40 euro price tags fits it perfectly
I agree it’s repetitive but it doesn’t need pvp it rlly Doesn’t align with that at all for the fact that who would we be fight for one and there is lore in the pve a better progression system is what the games need and more content
Anthem was unplayable. I got this game on sale 1 year after release and i was not even able to play a match, the loading screen was like 5 minutes, how is this fun?
The gameplay was fun. The classes and different combos. Most of the hate about the fight mechanics comes from the people who didn’t play long enough to form an opinion and just followed what everyone else said. The game had issues, but I found aspects of it to be a lot of fun. Had potential but it failed. Outriders was a similar story.
@@killerklinge52Oh dang that's sad they must have let the servers go after a year when I played it when it came out I was able to have fun with friends do missions go across the world feel like iron Man flying through the sky heck the story was even more compelling and interesting than destiny 2 how do you say it's better than helldivers 2 here heck at least you got a story going with cutscenes keeps you engaged and looking forward to the next mission
This game is such a pile of shit, literally the worst enemy types in all of gaming bugs and robots, pure garbage for the co op meth addicted zoomer normies.
there are games that don't need pvp... stop trying to add pvp everywhere... then go to fortnite or any battle royal. I think they should have more different events like fighting rare bosses or defending a strategic point with a squad of 8 helldivers , some completions rewards for being one of the top helldivers, make more type of creatures to fight against, more movesets and melee sets, etc.
You play Division 2 and it is more repetitive that Helldiver 2 and it has only been out less than a week. Division 2 has so many glitches that have not been fixed in years. I play D2 and exceed 6k SHD. I enjoy HD2 for a much different reason. I don't want a D2 copy cat game
Ppl can complain about games. Lol there's those that believes starfield is perfect, it's a$$. This is a game I've enjoyed since launch. No money needed after purchase. What modern game does that? PVP is repetitive so is coop. Every game inherently gets repetitive. Cod is like Madden tiny bits of graphical increases that's it,60-70 every year? Lol nope. an the season passes are a joke so many sheep fall for. Skins aren't worth my dime. Plus it's not 75$. Every one has opinions
As soon as you mentioned pvp you lost me. The devs have said multiple times they don't want to have pvp in this game, that isn't their focus and I think if they added it the game would be worse off because of it. This is a pve game at its core and it always will be.
I want a refund. Only played for maybe an hour. It glitched on me during the tutorial mission and the only way to continue was to return to my ship and skip who knows how much of the tutorial. Then on my first mission I got teamed up with a level 50 who did everything and finished the mission in like 5 minutes. This made me realize a glaring issue with this game. You're either going to be teamed up with high level people who know the game and get carried to a quick victory with loads of bonus exp for doing side quests or whatever I don't really know because the high level character did everything because he's so much more mobile and stronger. So if you want to have fun you need to level up a bunch and the best way to do that is to group with high level characters so that makes the game less fun for the lower level players as no one wants to play with them. I almost didn't make it to the drop ship because I was so far behind and I think I shot 6 dudes. But if I play by myself or with like level players it'll take me dozens of hours to grind to the fun stuff where you can actually move quickly and shoot things effectively. It would be one thing if I was able to use that cool unlocks to feel powerful but I know better. Modern games don't let you feel powerful anymore. So by the time you unlock the cool stuff it's not very cool anymore because it's just what's required to get the job done essentially.
So glad it's not just me whos finding it very repetitive the game plays good but it's just capture 1 capture 2 capture 3. I bought it 2 days ago n I'm getting bored of the missions already I just want different scenarios/missions

99% of all games are pvp shooters, this is the most boring shit ever. Bringing PVP into helldivers 2 doesn't make any sense story wise
i played two irrelevant missions which had zero meaning at all both were exactly the same and im already completely bored
i think a mix between helldivers and battlefield would be amazing , you get more player , say 50 players at least per game , which makes it feel like a war , and maybe not allow all of them to use the nukes and other stuff , only allow it to the top team in the game with most kills or points or whatever
There is similiar game its called Starship Troopers Extermination, try it out
starwars battlefront 2
50 hours in. Its very repetive, devs don't know how to balance the game either
this aged pretty well, even with the recent updates the game is pretty stale and my pinky hurts from running constantly
The intentionally laggy aim is so frustrating to me, feel drunk.
you know you can disable it right
They need to make a new SOCOM ps1/ps2 game built on this style. Imagine the pvp sweats you get. Just gotta be able to script it where corner peeking is blinding unless you lean on your aim. Yall dont even know about SOCOM U.S. Navy SEAL
A weapon progression system would be great. Make weapons have unique builds
Imagine playing as a big bug or robot though!
So you don't want to play as the other faction fighting against the helldivers?
@@Underground3 not really tbh
@@LazyLabneh L4D versus basically not a bad idea
The game needs more, the game is repetitive. The core gameplay loop will always be to helldive. If you look at the first game, thats all you need to know about if itll get more content over time. Of course it will. Vehicles, new enemies, new weapons, new strategems, and etc. And with the success its having, that stuff is definitely coming now. However, give the game longer than a week before we start complaining?
I agree with you👍
The game just came out, there is no way you have discovered everything in that game. How's the repetitiveness differ from Div2, we legit do the same shit every day 😂😂😂😂
I've given it a week, and the game still can't NOT crash every 1-2 missions. Can I start complaining about that now, daddy?
@@0verride881 complain all you want to son.
@@jmg24bad😂
Call of Duty tried PVP in DMZ and look where it is now. Nobody is playing it. It is filled with toxic players that kill you at spawn using advanced gear. The same thing would happen to Helldivers if they added PVP.
I really like the game in short bursts but it's so in need of more depth, a new faction, new mission types SOMETHING is missing
As someone who came from destiny, this game feels boring, but tbh the most fun thing is the opening 😂.
Yeah, after 20 minutes with this game, I, too, am done.
It’s absolutely repetitive.
Well i appreciate you letting me know this
If that's everything it has to offer. What he's bringing up still stands. It is repetitive.
Nor did he experience the 3rd faction of enemies in helldivers 2. Only AMD users will now of this one, the CTD faction.
@@pleasedontkillme1185 Since when are we defending games that are incomplete at launch? I remember when our games were finished before we booted them up.
I imagine as the war wages on the missions will become more complex and the Top Brass will provide us with new tech from the R&D department.
They need to make this game more like Planet Side 2
i was bored from the start. its basically just end game n a boring one at that
Your friend in this video was only level 12, of course playing missions at higher difficulties at that point is not gonna be much fun and just consist of you running around, you have not unlocked almost anything yet at that point.
As a level 103 I'm sick of seeing the same boring major orders
I played it a few times and got bored and quit. (REFUND)
I think this game needs a survival mode added to it
No one will accept this cuz theyre so game deprived and have no life.
Unless they stop with the nonsensical nerfs, find a solution for the people that kick you after a great mission so you won't get any rewards and xp... it is a NOPE FROM ME \
Out of around 20 people that I started to play with, each patch/nerf some quit and only 5 of us were remaining, this latest patch made 3 of us quit too... way to go devs... it is a PvE not a PvP GAME
One example:
I recently got - after grinding for it- the premium warbond with the Eruptor, it was good but far from OP, I liked it, changed my playstyle to acommodate its weaknesess.
I played the game for less then 4 hours and never touched it again
It does look very repetitive.
That’s exactly what I stated in the video, it’s not for me… But tbh The Division 2 is not the only game I play.
Agreed it does get repetitive very quickly. Don't think it needs pvp it just needs more variety in missions.
Helldivers 2 is a lot of fun. No server issues for me. Pvp isn’t happing and how would it even work? Constant bomb drops and turrets? It wouldn’t work
Just because you're not creative enough to make it work doesn't mean the rest of us aren't.
if uncharted and l4d2 can have a pvp mode then this game could
PVE only is the reason I like this game. BUT! I have only just started playing today and I’m already getting bored with it after only about 5 hours.
It reminds me a lot of the open world in warframe. Except warframe has so much more depth and has some fun movement and of course the loot.
I play like 5-9 hours of the game it was boring after like 1 hour but I stretched it because i payed for it i really wanted to enjoy it but i couldn’t
This game got boring to fast lol. Same old repetitive crap. I like the humor and camaraderie but thats about it.
Is it worth buying?
@@DMTEntity88 Not for $40
hell no, unless u have hella friends who wanna play@@DMTEntity88
Another hyped game that feels very underwhelming the gameplay is fun but the clucky controls and the repetitive mission get old real quick and i played it with a couple of friends pretty fked up that you can only play with 4 so we always had one person left out wich was fking annoying 6/10 fun game the 40 euro price tags fits it perfectly
Thanks for the advise . Lol. It looks grest but i get what ur saying so. Thx
I agree it’s repetitive but it doesn’t need pvp it rlly Doesn’t align with that at all for the fact that who would we be fight for one and there is lore in the pve a better progression system is what the games need and more content
Earth Defense Force 2025 / lost planet both great games to chek out !!
Sounds like Anthem. Super fun but not enough
Not exactly
25 hrs in I have issues after issues and yea its very repetitive
i just bought this played 3 times for a total of 3 hours... its just not fun. it just feel bland and the same over and over.
This game is such a pile of shit, literally the worst enemy types in all of gaming bugs and robots, pure garbage for the co op meth addicted zoomer normies.
It's better in a group. Trust me.
Maybe I’ll play some more
Naw it got boring in a group as well. I was on a discord group with friends. Its just lame.
I've been playing for a few hours and I'm already super bored. This is an empty shell of a game. This should have been free to play.
there are games that don't need pvp... stop trying to add pvp everywhere... then go to fortnite or any battle royal. I think they should have more different events like fighting rare bosses or defending a strategic point with a squad of 8 helldivers , some completions rewards for being one of the top helldivers, make more type of creatures to fight against, more movesets and melee sets, etc.
To be fair division is the same lol all these games coming out the same.
True
Trashdivers 2
Bro, when you gona try nioh or nioh 2
Well I’m waiting for dragons dogma 2, I can’t say when I’ll try that
@@iDentityUSoh well i will accept that excuse, thats completely fair compromise 😂👍 been playing DD1 on my PS3 recently in anticipation for 2
You play Division 2 and it is more repetitive that Helldiver 2 and it has only been out less than a week.
This game is just Deep Rock Galactic minus mining but you get air strikes.
It’s deep rock but worst by 1000x
So by the time you unlock the cool stuff it's not very cool anymore because it's just what's required to get the job done essentially.
ain't reading all that.
I'm level 17 and bored.
Bought it yesterday and honestly is not my type of game. Repetitive af and the friendly fire is stupid
It doesn’t need pvp to be better. It needs more content. It’s washed. It’s basically Destiny but way less guns and playable content.
Nah screw pvp only thing I disagree with
No, this game definitely needs a PVP
Just like fornite shit gets boring but co op isn’t the answer, they have to keep expanding
I thought the same.
Looks boring and repetitive!!
Looks can be deceiving my friend.
It's nothing special. People are just forced to play with others.
So it seems more fun than it actually is when people play most games solo.
So glad it's not just me whos finding it very repetitive the game plays good but it's just capture 1 capture 2 capture 3. I bought it 2 days ago n I'm getting bored of the missions already I just want different scenarios/missions
Most games are repetitive its called a gameplay loop. Loop as in something you repeat. Dive extract, upgrade and repeat.
I’m hoping they release a campaign and some PvP in the future
Would be nice
