This is my home park. The best time to go is always in the summer when all the rides are open. Glad to see you enjoyed yourself! It is always crowded in the summer but in the fall and spring it's normally pretty chill. Although some rides might not be open due to the midwest weather. Whizzer is definitely one of my personal favorite. Little fun fact, years ago they tried to tear it down but the Illinois and neighboring states costumers contested it because it's a fan favorite. I always ride it whenever I go to SFGA. Fun Fact: Batman the ride is actually the original one that was first created. It debuted at SFGA. Another Fun Fact: You might've seen some Looney Tunes characters because Six flags had a contract with Hannah Barbara and was able to use its characters and likeness.
Also, it is an underrated park it’s rare that every coaster is good and yes it needs a giga or one giant standout and supposedly it’s coming next year….they take care of that park.
@@shanepetyko8004 100% agree. I’m that annoying coaster homie that always tells his other coaster homies that I’d rather have SFGAm as his home park than CP. And I don’t say that to be ironical or alternative with my take. Listen, I love CP. It’s one of the best places on Earth IMO. But I wouldn’t stand having it as my home park. Firstly (EDIT: and lastly, I guess…I chattered too much about woodies, apparently 😂), I need more wood in my home park’s lineup. CP’s lineup is ridiculous, but it only has one wooden coaster (even though I LOVE Blue Streak 🫶 💙🩵). I grew up with KI, so I’ve had a healthy access to quality woodies for most of my life. A good home park IMO has to have at least 2-3 solid woodies. And SFGAm has that. Goliath isn’t one of the best RMCs, but it’s still an underrated ride. The layout is actually quite unique for an RMC. And it gives a pretty forceful rides. I’ve had many seasoned coaster homies from out of town come and grey out on this thing. I’ve only had one grey out ever, so I’m probably not a good person to gauge that sort of thing? But the airtime (especially the first drop in the back) is good, too (even out of the turns). And the OG RMC stall still slaps in every seat. On top of that, the almost single, unanimous gripe I’ve heard about this ride is that it’s short. That’s truly the main negative I hear about this ride. And I agree that it’s short, but still enjoy it regardless. Even if the woodie purists out there don’t count Goliath as a woodie (I do - it definitely doesn’t feel like an I-box), that still leaves Viper and AE. Both have historical significant and rarity on their sides. Plus, they both kick ass. AE gets points for being Intamin’s first major coaster project and they swung for the fences on it. It’s an airtime machine (SPECIAL consideration given to the superior red side - that second half COOKS when the ride is warmed up 🥵). And Viper is THEE Six Flags in-house coaster cred. Makes it super rare already. And as a mirrored cyclone variation, the layout is super sick and a complete contrast to what AE gives you. But this one not only gives great airtime, but it gives those fans of lats something to salivate over. And with the retrack in the offseason, it was HUSTLIN’ even on a cold opening day this season. I do kinda miss the pothole tho lol. And even our kiddie woodie coaster Little Dipper is a decent ride to hop on every now and then and has some heartwarming, local history to boot. Our woodie collection is SUPER underrated. (And I didn’t even share my opinion on our steel coasters…😅)
Skip the lines are not flash passes. They skip the ride wait time for you to return instead of waiting in the cue lines. Flash pass depending on gold 50% less wait or ultimate instant ride. This is our home park and have all season ultimate flash passes never wait for bigger rides! Great video and thanks for the visit to our park!
My GF and I have been to SFGAmer twice. We definitely enjoy the park. It's clean and has some really fun coasters. The ride operations were improved this year from our visit last year. Our favorite coasters are: Goliath, Superman, Maxx Force, Raging Bull, XFlight. I totally agree with you about their coaster lineup, they need a signature coaster. Cedar Point is also our home park so it's hard not to compare every park to it. But we really enjoy SFGAmer, and will go again if in the area.

That would be shocking and exciting for sure. But that ride system, unique as it is, only pulls 2.5 gs so it wont be super intense.
