The only regret i have about this , is that i missed this and couldn't get the casual leave from my private job 😩 I'm from Changtongya residing in Khm and this , community fishing comes once every 10-14 years if I'm remembering it correctly 😅 p.s for people wondering this is the Dikhu river, we càll it tzula

Honestly no sub and the music agghhhrr... Annoying.
Unity is great but i would say this type of fishing is long process waste of time and engergy it doesn't require to do those thing putting bamboos & fill with stone then kept that bamboo basket to mash fish medicine, no offense but the idea's is bad.
It's just to remember the things done by our forefathers.
We are preserving our tradition n also we av enough man strength to do so.. It was aron 1500 boys approx, n that's is just a 1 /3 of our mens population from changtongya.. N this will teach n reserve our tradition for our younger generation.. If this type of fishin is not working then i shod say that will not be called as community fishing which is reserved by our forefathers.. N this type of fishing cannot b do n 90% of the village cos of due to less men power.. Atleast we shod learn to appreciate it Nstead of criticing n hard work otrs r doing..

We give thanks for this type of practice and occasion where all the community comes together and celebrate the unity among the villagers, this is not only about fishing as you can see, everything is properly set up one by one. We give thanks to our ancestors.
