Definitely sir.. there are many banks who might offer you the best interest rates.. u can take it on emi.. apart from that .. Servicing cost is also very less on this.. my second servicing of Himalayan was around 1100 rupees .. oil change included Coming on to the mileage it is very low for daily commuting in heavy city traffic .. and becomes worst on normal fuel.. U have to put premium or plus or extra mileage fuel .. whatever it is called in different places .. In city it would give u around 25-27 kmpl and on long tours .. avg mileage you'll get would be around 30-32kmpl
Depends upon your purpose of buying it.. Sarvesh , both the bikes are equally capable and very practical, one plus point of Himalayan is it's off road capability, and if u see on HW it cruises easily at 110 without any noticeable vibration.. Vikrant bhai.. they changed the handle bar on my bike at first.. issue remained the same.. later one of their mechanics .. adjusted the front vertical bars along the suspension.. then it became almost 80% better than before

U can take a test ride of it and see it by yourself... handle and alignment issue was with few sets of bike... as informed by the company.. otherwise it's a great bike to be on
The false gear you are talking about was found very useful for me during my Zuzuki Samurai era. Those days (90's and 2000) parents were not giving enough money to fill the tank. So, I used to find that position to make it neutral while running down hill. I was able to go neutral between 3rd and 4th gear without reducing the speed and was getting more kilometres to ride... Lol
Unfortunately I did face few problems on my motorcycle ..eventually I do understand it's a machine afteral ... But if u ask me between these two.. then I would prefer Himalayan over Thunderbird
Stalling is absolutely true . I have driven my friends bike and it constantly used to shut off even in the 2 gear. I constantly had to work on the gear box whenever I had to turn or slow suddenly.
Thanks for solving my problem on my laddak ride....... When i take bike to re showroom they opened my engien...and after 3 hour they find the problem that there is ignition problem.... @@bikerinyou3521 okay thnx bro
Sir just one question can a middle class ppl afford it or not like maintenance and other stuff caz im planning to get my first bike and I'm planning to get this . Ur opinion pls
Definitely sir.. there are many banks who might offer you the best interest rates.. u can take it on emi.. apart from that ..
Servicing cost is also very less on this.. my second servicing of Himalayan was around 1100 rupees .. oil change included
Coming on to the mileage it is very low for daily commuting in heavy city traffic .. and becomes worst on normal fuel..
U have to put premium or plus or extra mileage fuel .. whatever it is called in different places ..
In city it would give u around 25-27 kmpl and on long tours .. avg mileage you'll get would be around 30-32kmpl
Hello bro👋👋👋 I am planning to buy Himalayan. Would you suggest this bike?
Depends upon your purpose of buying it..
In case u want a bike for daily commuting, weekend tours and also for off road purpose than ... specially the bs6 model is very much refined and made better with years and this bike is the best so far since himalayan came in 2015..
Doesn't mean that of I have faced the problem u too would be.. and incase u face u can get it corrected as I said in my next video..
Otherwise go for it..
@@bikerinyou3521 thank you for speedy reply. And one more question is should I wait for royal Enfield to sort out those problems?
@@ramachandrachandu2627 please talk to showroom guys and make it clear at the beginning about all the problems.. and inform them in advance.. take a thorough test ride of your bike before taking the delivery of it.. otherwise they have their standard answers for everything.. I hope u understand brother.. at the end it's your money that's going to get invested ..
I am a beginner and want a bike for clg and for short and long tours..
Should I buy Himalayan or Dominar 400.. I liked dominar for led headlights and all that but himalayan is dope in looks and feel and that speedo console..
Which should I buy
Sarvesh , both the bikes are equally capable and very practical, one plus point of Himalayan is it's off road capability, and if u see on HW it cruises easily at 110 without any noticeable vibration..
Whereas dominar can go to 160+ but starts vibrating after 100+..
Again depends upon your height too.. if u r 5'7+ go for Himalayan..
Better mileage than Dominar..
Otherwise comfort wise both are same
@@bikerinyou3521 yup I am almost 5.11
So I should Buy himalayan without amy doubts right?
It will be my first bike (i know how to ride bike but don't have my own)
So should I buy Himalayan as my first bike cause topspeed is not priority comfort is what I want
@@sarveshdhaybar6051 bro.. comfort wise it is really good.. my own experience with the bike has been really good so far...
Still personally if u ask me.. I would recommend you to go and take test ride for both the bikes..cuz at the end of the u r the one who would be owning the bike and should be according to you and not me.. so.. go by your heart..
@@bikerinyou3521 thank you very much for your guidance
@@sarveshdhaybar6051 no worries biker.. don't forget to send the photos of your new ride on insta.. and ride hard ride safe..
Planning to buy this...but after seeing some reviews and mostly people talking about flaws i guess should i go with this or the interceptor?
Depends upon your requirements...
If u want a bike only for touring then go for interceptor... it's too heavy on the front for daily commuting
Incase u want for commuting touring and weekend off road too.. then Himalayan...
These flaws have been corrected on my bike and tomorrow I'll upload another video regarding that..
Don't go for royal enfield....person experience....go for yamaha
Nevertheless to say. Kya Hindi pronounciation hai aapka being South Indian. Perfect man.
So detailed explanation as well.
Thank you so much brother

@@bikerinyou3521 brother I am a hardcore off-road rider. Drove impulse since 2013 and still going on.
Thank you for replying. You can consider points like
New upcoming 650 line-up of RE. For touring if thinking of replacing Himalayan in mind for touring.
Tyre options available if for Himalayan
I personally like Himalayan s cockpit. It's tall and I am confused with dominar. I am planning next year.
Alternating to high pressure brake plates if they are weak.
My brother cousin s Himalayan bs6 too has some gear shifting hardness. I asked him to get checked the clutch flywheel inside if it's loose. And clutch adjustment. It's under warranty.
Thank you
Sure
weird #3 issue was indeed to reduce the height as the side stand wouldn't rest properly
Also which one would you recommend it for 6 footers meteor/himalayan as a beginner for regular City commute as Indian roads are same as off roads or broken offroads
Loved the impulse when i drove for few kms
After all these problems would you still keep this bike ?
See the next video bro.. 😉
@@bikerinyou3521 will surely watch tomorrow. Good night 🥱
Haha.. leave a comnt on that too
so, bro should we buy the bike or should we go for any other options..?
Bro.. I have rode this himalayan with bs3.. bs4 and bs6.. definitely it has become better with time.. bs6 is good.. considering its offroad capacities and cruising comfort...
Only thing is.. do a good inspection while taking the delivery ... otherwise it's a good refined engine..
@@bikerinyou3521 i have booked the bike and waiting for delivery but after looking at lot of videos with prblm in Himalayan bs6 i was thinking to shift on dominar ..bcz i am marketing guy and need the bike for daily run and weekend trip also..but i can't take care and go to service center regularly ..its quiet headache ...if i bought a new bike and need to visit showroom for every few km ..i can't tolerate ..it ..so ,with ur experience of riding what would u say ..100% mein kitna percent is bike prblms ha ..bs6 ...mein
Sanjay bhai.. there's an enfield at my home since my childhood.. these bikes are really dependable.. again.. the handle issue and alignment issue was only with my bike and in that batch 6 bikes came only with these..
Apart from that..
Both the bikes Dominar and himalayan give almost same avg. Comfort also same..
In power Dominar is better...
Offroading and weekend rides.. himalayan...
Coming up to aftermarket accessories.. you'll gt enfield items cheap and easily .. and resale value of enfield is better than bajaj..
At the end.. my suggestion is .. whatever your heart says follow that.. cuz bike is something u can't be buying everyday... once and for all..
Even I had the same confusion ..
But u had a liking towards himalayan so I didn't care anything else
Tomorrow I'll upload another video..
Right now my bike is completely perfect and in condition.. everything has been fixed..
@@bikerinyou3521 i am not against the bike but i just don't wanna go to service center after buying a 2.5 lac bike ..on daily basis... Bro even i have a problem with my handlebar and alignment. Please let me know how company resolved it.i have changed my handle bar t set coneset but then also not resolved
Vikrant bhai.. they changed the handle bar on my bike at first.. issue remained the same.. later one of their mechanics .. adjusted the front vertical bars along the suspension.. then it became almost 80% better than before
Again I kept mails to RE and also spoke to their CC .. they took my bike and rectified everything.. still it's pulling to one side.. for that today they'll inspect again..
Dominar or himalayn?
Thank you brother. Finally not buying it anytime soon. Lets see after 2 yrs or more with some rock solid models.
U can take a test ride of it and see it by yourself... handle and alignment issue was with few sets of bike... as informed by the company.. otherwise it's a great bike to be on

@@bikerinyou3521 thnx for replying bro.... So.. I guess ill go for the HIMALAYAN
All the best brother
The false gear you are talking about was found very useful for me during my Zuzuki Samurai era. Those days (90's and 2000) parents were not giving enough money to fill the tank. So, I used to find that position to make it neutral while running down hill. I was able to go neutral between 3rd and 4th gear without reducing the speed and was getting more kilometres to ride... Lol
We too do the same sir.. so nostalgic to hear.. thank you for sharing your memory
himalayan or thunderbird 350x???Which is more reliable???
Unfortunately I did face few problems on my motorcycle ..eventually I do understand it's a machine afteral ...
But if u ask me between these two.. then I would prefer Himalayan over Thunderbird
Stalling is absolutely true . I have driven my friends bike and it constantly used to shut off even in the 2 gear. I constantly had to work on the gear box whenever I had to turn or slow suddenly.
Thanks for solving my problem on my laddak ride.......
When i take bike to re showroom they opened my engien...and after 3 hour they find the problem that there is ignition problem....
The mechanic of re is trained to open engien if there is any problem, they will definitely open your engien
I think if re bike headlights get fuse re will open your engine
Himalayan to upgrade ho jaayega but re ki engien kholne ki mentality kse teek karoge

In this I have mentioned how they corrected my bike.. it's running fantastic now
From which showroom did you get the bike in vizag?
From Sitaram Motors RE
Thank you
Do you really suggest this is bike or Dominar is a better option with lesser issues ?
@@gokulsrikanth honestly I had the same confusion at the time of taking Himalayan...
Ofcourse with Dominar u get more power ..
But what I have experienced is Himalayan has sufficient power to cruise at Highways in triple digits...
Enough power to overtake in city roads...
It's offroad capabilities take it to another level...
And hell lot of mods can be done to himalayan...
After market accessories are cheap and readily available...
Resale value is more than Dominar...
Apart from power in Dominar.. all other boxes are taken by Himalayan...
I have already took a test drive of the bike and the bike stalls a lot even while taking a U turn
Did RE team resolve this ?
I have a friend who is facing the same issue even after 3 rd service
Yes.. this thing has been resolved ... I told them about the alignment and stalling issue then and there at the time of taking the delivery...
Both of them had been resolved..
It's not by servicing it would go.. u need to tell them specifically...

Very good, genuine Review and very helpful. Now i think 9th issue of not giving tubeless tyres and to use functure proof kits is a huge safety flaw n company should solve it for us RE riders. And tge other 9 points also to be looked at.... By RE.
Yes Harn .. basically alignment and handle bar issue was specifically with my bike and many didn't face that issue.. but few have recently face the stalling issue in bs6 himalayan..
Thank you for watching the video and leaving a positive comment..
Hi thanks.... Can you run a video on the same issues of other entry off road bikes like ktm and Hero
Mostly next week m coming up with Dominar and Himalayan comparison with Dominar owners' review on it.. may be after that I'll try .. for sure
Bhai i have the same issues with my bs6 himalayan. Please tell me if shifting to first gear and from 1st to 2nd is loud. Are they both loud
It's all iron.. sound will be there... again it's normal.. incase it's more than normal in your case... ask the service centre to look after it immediately otherwise it might break too.. cuz that's generally due to improper shifting of gear plates inside...
@@bikerinyou3521 it doesn't sound like the gears are not shifting properly its just annoying(because its a new bike and we spending money prefer it to be somewhat perfect). my bike aslo has false neutrals btw 4 and 5 . i guess its a himalayan thing. I have false gear issue in my himalayan too. I spoke with showroom when I have given my vehicle for 2nd service thinking they would address the issue. I have faced it again after getting it from second service. You still face that issue?
No bro.. I don't remember facing the false gear issue again after they worked on my bike after complaint..
Next time I visit the showroom I will highlight the issue then
Is it your bs6 model or bs4???
False neutral.. a thing added by RE ..if gear not shifted properly it will go to false neutral
It happens between the 4th and 5th shift not on all the shifts
Use some double sided 3M tape in front visor fitting area..it will help in reducing the buzzing noises..and you can also use formula x gel to get rid of the punctures..it works perfectly..i have also used formula x gel..since then I haven't had any puncture issues.. it's not a perfect bike but the things this bike is capable of will make you smile.happy riding bro.
Very rightly mentioned Sirish .. I'll try your advise.. and how's your experience with the x gel .. does it help increase your tyre life??
i didn't notice any difference in tyre life..i use the Himalayan as my daily..but i can say one thing with confidence that you don't have to worry about punctures..i myself have removed sharp objects from the tyre close to 10 or 15 times in the last 7 to 8 thousand km riding.you just have to check your tyres for any sharp objects twice or thrice a month.thats all!
That's amazing yaar.. would definitely try that

Hi Bro,
Appreciate the way u explained the 10 points. What I feel that u r not perfect to ride & own RE Himalayan. Bcoz yes there are scope of improvement but its not the demerits. Yes False gear issue was seen even in my Himalayan too. The reasons like tubeless tyre, gap in front mud guard, gap on side-shields, etc. actually these are not the issues. Mudguard can be adjusted as per riders choice depending upon the type of destination he is selecting. Plz study about why there is no tubeless tyre in RE Himalayan & I am sure u will love the reason. Side-shields can be tighten. I think u need more practice to handle this bike. Sorry if it hurts u, mine bike is 2019 BS-iv model doing perfect. There is no false fuel indication.

If u r planning for himalayan then I believe you'll be very much satisfied with the bikes' performance and offroad capabilities... again it depends upon your specific need ..
Bro If you need more reliability with cruising at 80kmpl the classic series is best as it's been really tested hard by Indian arm since decades
On Himalayan the sweet speed is 110 while cruising brother.. it starts rattling after that .. I have pushed it till 135

Point samajh meri jaan.. and search the internet again this time with bmw 310 GSA ..
Hi, I am considering to buy a motorcycle and Royal Enfield is my first, however I am little confused between classic 350 and Himalayan. I have to take such bikes which I can do in day today life, this is my first bike and can also go on tour. Whose maintenance cost is not too much and mileage is also good.
Himalayan and classic both are suitable for city commuting and even for touring ... again it depends.. I have used both the bikes and both of it truly different in terms of handling and capabilities..
I m planning to purchase Himalayan but I m confused both the REs
@@Sunnykrrr go for himalayan if ur height is good and take a test ride.. doesn't matter if I have faced these issues.. otherwise many people have recieved it perfect... listen to your heart bro.. this is something that u buy everyday... so listen to yourself.. whichever u want to have go for it..
Himalayan Pillion seat is comfortable for mother??
Yes.. even I have taken out my mom for a ride and she was very comfortable..
great video: informative and comprehensive. just one peeve: please keep the background music level a little lower as that would help in paying even greater attention to the good content. cheers!
Sure
himalayan my dream bike
I think RE should put in a heavier duty clutch. More plates and stronger springs needed.
Right
Gear shifting was very hard on bs4 model. I had taken 50 km test ride & bone in my foot started paining so much that I was scared to shift gears. Bajaj avenger is much better bike than himalayan
Very true sir.. comfort wise that's a better option to opt for... but as I have mentioned my next video.. after SOP it's somewhat better .. though there is no clear shift to neutral.. still better than how I recieved it from showroom..
Use a longer after market gear lever. Should fix the issue.
Hlo Dada aa Bike Chala nama Kasa haaa
Off road k liye tube wala hi sahi h bhai
How did you bought this tilted handle bike from showroom ? Since you are mentioning so many issues sell it off and buy Dominar 400. You will be a happy man. Try and see something new. And by the way look at fakira rider review on Himalayan.
I have seen his video.. and what all problems related to servicing and cc he faced all throughout.. luckily now the bike is performing like really well .. and done 2 major rides on it.. went butter smooth and no body pain 😊
But thank you so much for your concern brother..
@@bikerinyou3521 by the way no bike can beat Himalayan in off riding. Happy to know that your bike is all tuned up now. 👍👍
Good review bro, could have reduced the volume of the background music, ur explanation is dominated by the music! It's disturbing! Hope u will take care of it!
Keep reviewing, keep riding! Great job!👍
Thank you brother.. sure..
Thanks
