Parting ways with Echo equipment

Welcome back to YT. I like the Stihl gas backpack blowers but I’m not crazy about the Stihl gas trimmers / edgers / handheld equipment anymore, they don’t seem to be as well made. I have a KM-94R that is only 3 years old or so and it won’t start anymore, vs an old Echo PAS-230 from 2010 that still runs strong 🤷‍♂️

I might buy a echo 7910 or Shindawai I have a Stihl 600 and 800 but the echo straps are 100 percent better 👍

Question. Did you get rid of the Stihl handheld blower? I know I use my 3 yr old br600 but i am thinking about the br800 side start because it seems as though the retired customers i have love to talk when they see me mowing the yard.🤔

I did get rid of my handheld blower from Stihl. Big mistake. I had the vacuum kit with it. I might have to purchase another this season. I will however be getting the BR 800 X. The side start is heavier and more bulky. I have heard the side start is something to get use to can get difficult to start.

@ATRLawncare I've been looking on Craigslist for a bg86 to be able to use on shrub clean up in the beds that are too close to the house

Sthil = Chainsaws, Hedge Trimmers, 2T Trimmers (94R), Echo = PAS, 2620 Heads (Do not get the 225 Heads), Blowers 2 stroke. Do not get the hedge trimmers
