When I was 21, I used to see that some people drink alcohol as if it is water. So, I became curious as to what was so special about it. I somehow got my hands on Alcohol of different well known brands one day and drank a good amount from each until I felt that I was really and completely drunk. When I was in my drunk state the whole world revolved around me. When I focused on a certain object I literally could see several clones of it too. This was abnormal and exciting to me at the start. But I could sense that my mind & body despite they were floating as if in space, it was still fully under my control. I could control my thoughts and my actions at my own free will. I knew in my heart in that moment, that if I would come across a beautiful girl, I would not lose my control and do something wrong with her. So I wondered why do some men say that they do bad things under the influence of alcohol? The answer that came to me was, "maybe it is a matter of resistance or will power". It is matter of choice. It all depends on the man himself what he wants to do in the situation he has been put in. The influence of alcohol alone cannot make him a monster. With this conclusion, I went to sleep. When I woke up. I realized for the first time in life what "hangover" means. I vomited and was in the washroom for half of the day. And my head was bursting in pain all the time. After it all ended I took a vow to never consume Alcohol ever again in my life. Simply, because a simple Lemonade is worth more than going through all that trouble 🙏
Brother, I agree with Sadhguru when he says that people drink just because others drink. Like he mentioned that if one monkey scratches his body, the other monkey scratches his body too, by saying this Sadhguru is making clear that it is an animal behaviour. It is not evolved behaviour. We must be educated about these things because we are humans.

@@shrinetrapandey9280 true , actually Sadhguru is above Vivekananda (he was just enlightened ) , but Sadhguru is a chakreshwara(master of energy) , mystic and a guru and also consecrated the dhyanalinga which no other mystic and enlightened masters could .

Sadhguru i have a question: why we indian youth is scared of things..why we lack enthusiasm...what has made us so dull...and most importantly how can be like u youthful and rebellious?
Well...there is no one answer for this....major reason being people in general these days think sprituality in general, should be persued at older age...and second being till the they get a shock they don't realize something is really wrong in there life

Rebellious is not a good word. Youthful is the correct word. We cannot blame the youth for their dullness because they need proper guidance from parents. Sadhguru says physical activity, proper diet, good sleep, connection with family-friends are necessary for children. 🙏
