The timing of the ad plug in had to be intentional. Made Bruce look insane ignoring Lawrence and just talking about shaving balls.
I can definitely see Bruce doing this IRL 😂
That cut to the ad was perfect.
Just wanna say I love that Inside Games has come up enough that you're doing previews!. I appreciate both of your opinions on games more than any other channel and have been following each of you for what feels like a decade (jeez we're getting old) but just wanted to show my appreciation. Thanks for being brave enough to stick around all these years.
This will absolutely be the peak of $30 on sale gaming
That's the best kind of Ubisoft game.
The other ones aren't worth playing at all.
Brokie
@@_CrimsonBlade Money wasting anime turd
ill wait 7 years when it's listed for 10$
@@raafaezaki1554Valhalla Ultimate edition was $10 last December. You won’t have to wait that long hahaha.
That flying through atmosphere, hidden loading screen thing is exactly what Starfield should have done. That game has plenty of problems but I think that small thing would have made a pretty big difference. Just making the flying feel continuous even when you fly through loading screens between space and planets or between different space sectors would add such a massive amount of immersion which Bethesda games thrive on.
I was super excited for this game since it was first announced. In a rare case for games lately, I've gotten more excited the more they show. Can't wait to play this.
My favorite thing this year has been Bruce and Lawrence mentioning each time a game allows you to go from space to the planet seamlessly lol. I love that Bethesda tried to tell us it couldn’t be done and so many games are doing it 💀
If you can actually make it seamless, single- or multiplayer with big scale, it’s incredibly impressive tech so makes sense 😂
I love the" i have a bad feeling about this " its the corny but stars warsy of star wars
I like the wilheim scream. It’s also my favorite part of Indiana Jones lol
Honestly I'll take it.
On sale.
When it goes to the $30ish price range.
No, pre-order it like everyone else.
So about 3 months later? 😂
$10 bargain bin at best
Looks like a perfectly fine adventure game.
@20:40 In addition to the Empire being like GTA cops, I recall a gameplay video from the devs talking about how you have different reputation levels with various criminal organizations, and your standing with various organizations affects your level of access. An organization that you're on terms with will give you greater access than one that is hostile.
It wouldn't be too hard to imagine a scenario where if your reputation with a crime gang is so far in the red that bounty hunters will start coming after you on their behalf until you do something to alleviate that (such as killing the pursuing bounty hunters or pay someone off to smooth things over), but that's just pure speculation on my part.
"Bruce what do you think about this game"
"LET'S TALK ABOUT BALLS" XD
Remember that it will definitely go on sale during May the 4th, which will also be around the time the last dlc for it will also be out. So if you don’t get it now, wait till the sale then - because it’ll be cheaper than the usual Ubisoft sale.
What you guys are reporting here was my best case scenario prediction about this game. I will still be surprised when the game comes out if it really is a good Star Wars experience.
if that's the timeline, Han will be frozen in carbonite on his way to or already inside Jabba's palace
He will still show up though. Won’t talk or nothing but Kay will probably be like “glad I’m not him” or “wonder what happened to that guy”
She literally walks up to his carbonite slab in Jabbas palace in one of the trailers.
Bravest UA-camrs on the platform!
I like the “I have a bad feeling about this” lines 😂
This is out of pocket, but I’m hoping we can find some Mandalorian armor somewhere.
The space combat looks like a super simplified version of Ace Combat Assault Horizon: you would get super close to enemy ships and "lock" onto them and auto-follow, giving you fine control for aiming guns and missiles
Never heard of you guys and this was my first video.
Liked and subscribed based inparticular off both of you having such positive, yet honest, vibes.
Nice to hear people who seem to actually like video games. Most channels sound burned out and jaded.
You may not want to watch our other stuff then 😬 welcome!
Thanks for the review! Sounds like my type of Game.
I really like the look of this game. It’s about the only game I want to go and buy at the moment. But I am a fan of the Star Wars universe
Looks good and what I wanted out of a star wars game gunplay with Blasters and open world
I think the real issue is ubisoft as a whole. The game looks good, the devs and people working on it are to be appreciated.....but ubisoft somehow always had their way of screwing things up
The game does look good which makes me happy. But I going to not buy this at full price. Waiting for a sale to buy this .
I'm with you on them milking everyone on their nostalgia for the original trilogy. I love the original movies. I don't want to see more Han, Luke, Leia, or pretty much anyone else from that era, or even from the prequels and sequels. I'm also frankly tired of Jedi and Sith. Letting you be a "scoundrel" is a smart move in my opinion, but I'll be severely disappointed if at some point in the game they have you discover you can use the force. And I don't want them to shove anymore nostalgia bait characters in there beyond Lando.
Everspace 2 (for people that want space combat)
How am i the only one who first thought space combat from what you guys talked about and showed looks just like star wars battlefront space combat i dont mind it but it seems just like that
Kay should say "I've got a good feeling about this, nyx" :P
BTW the lock picking reminds me atomic heart padlock vibes :)
I want lobot, and that guy with the ice cream machine, i think that would be amazing if Calrissian is in this.
Any idea if this is the same team that worked on Starlink? The space to planet transitioning reminds me of that.
The hacking looks just like the one in sleeping dogs.
Anyhow this game looks standard good. It has systems similar to stuff that's out there, but also very nicely polished. I am surprised there would be bad reviews about. It looks fine.
Lawrence if you want a wonderful space combat game, go try Freelancer from 2003, space combat can be fun and amazing. Also I think it's a game that you personally would love.
While I understand that they're probably adding the finishing touches to the open world, and they wanted to keep focus with this demo, I feel the true test of the game is going to be how this flows from open world to linear missions. Will these mechanics hold through the course of the game? Will it not suffer the Ubisoft curse of forced and contrived repetitive design? IDK, but I'm looking forward to seeing the full game while keeping excitement curbed and attitude refined.
TLDR: Waiting for the game to come out before making a value judgement on the game.
Inside Games always the forefront of gaming journalism.
law dog looking extra hunky lately or is it just me? :D
I have a bad feeling about this
Been watchin you guys for years now, love all you do and great to see you both doing so well!
I think Ubisoft games are great when you only play them once and awhile. They're consistently okay to good. A good "7/10" Star Wars game that is fun to play is more than enough for me.
I’d be more interested if it weren’t another story set in the Galactic Civil War era, wasn’t there supposed to be a pre-Prequel trilogy Star Wars game?
It will be a cold day in hell before I pay $100 for a Ubisoft game
C'mon, who doesn't love Star Wars? I'm getting this day -3
People are scared to drop the 70 usd because its from Ubisoft and they are notorious for making slop recently.
Mcklunkey!
I don't like how the enemies just drop their weapons as soon as you initiate a takedown animation. Would be nice if the animation included a disarm or something.
I love the Outer Rim Boardgame. i like the idea of Outlaws. here's hoping.
Gentlemen/ Gentlewomen this is an important moment in this channel WOOOOOOOOOOOO🎉
Wooo 🎉
ITS FRIDAY
I just hope space flight is fun. Honestly hope this game does well just cuz i loved the Jedi games
This game isn’t Starfield with a Star Wars skin which I think is what most people are expecting. However it does seem to have space gameplay and less loading screens than Starfield which were ridiculous. This isn’t even an rpg it’s an open world action adventure and for what it is it’s good. The Jedi games didn’t reinvent the wheel either but gave us some good souls inspired Star Wars and some of the best Star Wars storytelling in the disney era of Star Wars besides rogue one and andor. If this game can do that for the scoundrel setting then I’m satisfied. Unfortunately we’ll have to wait for the KOTOR remake for a true Star Wars rpg and even longer for a Star Wars game that gives us the amount of choice a Bethesda or CD Projekt Red game does. I’m still holding out hope that one day we will get a game like that but for now it’s not happening.
At least it’s set in the original trilogy era… beyond that we shall see.
Lol crazy how, unless the game is groundbreaking, any amount of positivity u have for a starwars game people think your a shill for them. Even though star wars have consistently shown they dont give a crap what yall think of there games.
You have to be positive or you don't get invited to the events 🤫
@@disass They have said plenty of negative things about this and many other games and still go to events like this. also they were not invited, it was playable at SGF.
Their*
Did you guys ever played the Star Wars Knights of the Old Rebuplic 2 game? What are your opinions on that game?
22:44 If we are not counting Lego, then the answer is technically KoToR 1&2 or ToR MMO.
Star Wars Galaxies as well. it’s honestly insane to me that we haven’t gotten a game like this in the last 20 years. it’s a franchise that’s begging to have an MMORPG made for it
KOTOR is a CRPG tho. Fallen Order+Survivor are the closest to what they meant but they weren’t truly “open world.” What they were talking about is a GTA style game with a Star Wars reskin. 1313 would’ve been that type of game but it got cancelled. 😑
A question I have, and it's probably a silly one. But is there a photo mode?
I don't *think* that's been confirmed anywhere, however a lot of other games, including Ubisofts, have been including photo modes. I think they've realized it's basically free advertising for them
Looks good might get on steam sale.
Lol "what'd you think, Bruce?"
"MANSCAPED"
Star Wars Galaxies the First and Perfect Open World Star Wars Game has finally met it's match
Confirmed GTAVI $100 for Standard Edition.
might be the first ubisoft game i buy
$70 is alot these days I basically buy nothing day one anymore my AAA are $40-50 and often its under 6 months delay. If I get something day one then it's special and I've been waiting for a while in recent history I remember 2 titles that qualify, Death Stranding and Elden Ring
I've played both of EA's Batllefront, but that "aiming" is based on the 2nd Battlefront. I was a hardcore (EA) Battlefront, and I never had or seen an "auto-aim" in SWBF1".........(I cheese or do anything , and will make me win on MP)
1:1 video title parity with the BYTT channel
can i borrow the game ?
If the game is good I might buy it in a couple of years when the bugs get resolved and all the dlc is out
i dont like how much of the hud you need and button prompts
Huge Star Wars fan, I understand Disney has had massive massive misses that also ruin a lot of continuity within the universe, but people wondering why we don’t get good Star Wars products makes zero sense. It is out there. This is 2.5 months early, give it a chance. It looks like everything the community has been wanting. It’s unfortunate to hear only criticism and no positivity over a legit product that the team did a great job with and the lore and universe are accurate because they are fans themselves. Criticism on something like this is why Kathleen Kennedy is still around and why we are getting poor Star Wars tv and film content. They won’t replace those decision makers because even the solid products are complained about.
Sounds like this is one of the okayest games of all time.
Ive got an uncomfortable feeling about this...
I'm gonna give a hot take here: I don't think star wars stands well on its own, for the most part, when the Jedi and sith are not involved. The Sci-Fi Elements are just not as strong as the fantasy elements.
Mando's and clones are cool. but if you break it down to it's pure sci-fi bits there really isn't a whole lot to chew on outside of force users (in my opinion)
Did Ubisoft drop beyond good and evil. To make Star Wars
Gosh I wish they just let us pick the species we get to play as I'm a little annoyed it's always a human
BG3 dialog audio mix is awkward
As long as it is not Star Wars Acolyte I'm good with this
I mean can you not figure that out from the fact it's titled Outlaws?
Open world Star Wars game? Star Wars The Old Republic. MMORPG that's been out 13 years now...
Isn't this just the unreleased beyond good and evil? Or are we still expecting that 😅
commenting for algorithmic reasons
Ad read in the middle of a question was crazy
Great video
Very interesting
The Avatar game was some seriously boring crap. So if you are using that as a reference...
I just hope you can get a boba fett type helmet to cover that puppet face 😂
Its Ubisoft. They don't reinvent, they reiterate
Just like fromsoft
Is anyone else tired of "Standard" AAA games?
Dragon Age
Hope you get invited to more events. And I hope the game isn't as bland as it sounds 😂
23:44 Length of content is not the only thing that justifies a 70$ price tag. I gave up on Ass creed valhalla because it was 100s of hours of boring repetitive nonsense. Definitely not worth 70$ to me. Outlaws is going to have to prove that the content is actually worth spending time on because if it's just another guff-filled openworld ubisoft game it's a total skip for me.
Hi
Meh ill get it when its 10 quid
If the star wars name can still get people exicited and sell then i think the fans may be masochistic.
She's like t posing with every punch hahaha
Seems like a fairly straightforward, fun, adventure game, but those combat animation, especially the stealth combat ones... honestly are dogshit. The person mocapping or w/e feels like they've never thrown a punch in their life, not even at the air.
oh thank god i thought i was clicking an ign review for a moment and thankfully Bruce appeared!
I’m attracted to the lizard thing, And also trench coat droid.
Knocking out a storm trooper with a back hand from a buck 25 woman, is absolutely stupid!
I’m going to pass.
Wild that we get a discount female Han Solo game before a 1313-esk Mandalorian game.
How tall is Kay? 5’9”
If they would have made this a Han Solo game would have already broke records for pre orders.
