I'm North African and in my culture we talk a lot about people's energy, spirituality, that we are drawn to certain people because their beautiful inside radiates and has so much positive energy that they act literally like magnets on people's souls. You know when sometimes you speak to someone at a bus stop or in a shop and you're like "dam she could be the coolest friend I bet our convos would be crazy and amazing"... You are THAT person. I stumbled on your videos because I was researching Linda hallberg's powder so I can make people believe that my pores are not mini volcanos lol.. And I ended up watching 10 videos in a row. You have such a pure, genuine,vulnerable, simply kind and soothing energy that I can say without knowing you that you I can trust you. Your strong morals clearly show and it warms my heart that there are still people like you around our age in this shallow world where individuality and selfishness became the norm. Know that you are as beautiful on the inside that you are on the outside, please never doubt yourself. Be kinder towards yourself, I feel like you are too hard on you and have such high expectations , demanding too much from your poor body and soul. I grew up in a very strict (very) household, but my parents also balanced out the expectations with praise and rewards (often non-tangible). And, I never went a day without both of my parents telling me they loved me, and I knew they meant it. So even with strict parents, I turned out pretty great (if I may say so myself) Great video & very interesting - and funny! 💕
I find it so interesting the permission viewers give themselves to lecture, provide counsel for, or to simply violate a person's privacy with the expectations that you should reveal all your personal information, and must respond to inquiring minds. I’m from Cherokee North Carolina and lived in Gatlinburg and Knoxville and I miss the mountains, rivers and lakes ever so much. Stuck in Dallas and though it’s lovely it’s not my cup of tea honey and I can’t wait to get back home. I completely agree with how you raise your kids I’m the same. I want my daughter to know things in life must be worked for nothing ever comes easy and one shouldn’t expect a hand out or things to fall into place without hard work, drive and determination. I eat one thing at a time too and my food can NEVER touch. Yes - I know it’s going to the same place, but it doesn’t have to go there together!!! I have sensory issues too and I don’t like certain textures mixing. Like if a piece of corn gets in my mashed potatoes - I get angry! If I know it’s there, I’ll isolate the offending item and move it to the side of my plate so it can sit there and think about what it’s done. Lol.

I know exactly what you mean about the friend thing! Ive always given more than I got. After a while you just can't keep giving and giving and getting nothing in return. It's hard to be the one who cares more about the other than they do about you 😥. Also the mom thing. We try our absolute best but there is no such thing as the perfect mom. I think its important to admit our flaws and mistakes and try to improve them as we go 😘❤️

Great video!! I think companies should stop giving PR and instead give UA-camrs a gift card. That way the beauty gurus will only get the products they are interested in and the viewers can trust that they aren't getting a forced review. Plus, think of all the packaging that would be saved from those stupid promotional packages they send out. I don't think any viewers mind UA-camrs getting free makeup but all that wasteful plastic packaging turns my stomach. This community needs to be greener!!

That is such an amazingly efficient way to avoid money thrown out the windows and pollution even though some products are donated to women shelters which I’m so happy with (why giving all the shades in new foundations releases ?? A white person swatching a dark shade doesn’t make sense and doesn’t give any valuable info and vice-versa ) also some beauty “gurus” (hate this damn word ) receive some products that won’t suite their skin tone skin problems , their age, their lifestyle or simply preferences . Some are allergic to some composants too . Choosing a limited amount of products from a new release is such a brilliant idea please put a trade mark on this and sell the concept to them 😂

Hey there, re: Hakuhodo, the Basic, G, and J series brushes are at about the same price point as old MAC and current Wayne Goss brushes. They use the same uncut, undyed bristle materials as their fancy lacquer handled brushes, just with simple enamel painted wooden handles instead. Hope this helps!

So, I literally watch your videos as soon as they pop up in my sub box. EVERY SINGLE DAY!! I’ve been extremely busy and have been impatiently waiting to be able to really relax and watch this video. You did not disappoint. I’ve watched all of your Q&As so I felt like I knew a great deal about you (as much as you’ve shared, of course). Thinking of an assumption or question, therefore, was extremely difficult for me. Hence the silly hat question. About a week after I left that assumption for you, you wore a beanie in an Instagram photo. DARN!! I knew you had a “tactile” sensitivity (people or even you touching your face, etc) so that’s where that silly, really basic assumption came from. Kind of disappointed in my lack of depth. LOL! I tried for the funny, and you laughed, so win for me. Thanks so much for addressing it even tho it was silly. 😘🥰

I can so relate to your anxiety issues, I have ALL of what you're talking about too. Here's what I've been diagnosed with......anxiety, social anxiety, depression, OCD, panic disorder. I was told by the psychiatrist that diagnosed me, they always all go together. If you've got one you've got them all. For me personally, I had to go on anti depressants as my life became unmanageable, I was exhausted from decades of trying to deal with all of this. And that's the best decision I've ever made for myself. Not saying thats what everyone needs to do, but it sure worked for me. Hope you don't mind me sharing all of this but it was just so striking to me how similar this disease is for people with anxiety. I love your videos and also all that you stand for. Ah, well. When I went from the South to Pittsburgh for school, I had to get used to yinz, gumbands, chipped ham and Jint Iggle (Giant Eagle grocery stores). I love colloquial speech patterns. I can remember my first shopping trip looking at the grocery check-out girl in confusion when she asked if I wanted my "popinabag". I had to have her repeat it several times and felt like an idiot until it dawned on me that she was wondering if I wanted to put my soda in a sack :) I do think it very smart in Pennsylvania that all the different sports teams have the same black/gold theme. Makes it much easier on the fans.

I had my first at 34, second at 35, now I'm 40 and still don't feel like an adult...😳

I grew up in a very strict (very) household, but my parents also balanced out the expectations with praise and rewards (often non-tangible). And, I never went a day without both of my parents telling me they loved me, and I knew they meant it. So even with strict parents, I turned out pretty great (if I may say so myself)

I find it so interesting the permission viewers give themselves to lecture, provide counsel for, or to simply violate a person's privacy with the expectations that you should reveal all your personal information, and must respond to inquiring minds. My husband thinks it is hilarious that I eat all of my food separately. He is like, "it will be cold by the time you get to it!" I don't care! Then he will want me to try something, and I will tell him that I'll get there after I'm done with the item I am currently eating. He will roll his eyes!

I’m from Cherokee North Carolina and lived in Gatlinburg and Knoxville and I miss the mountains, rivers and lakes ever so much. Stuck in Dallas and though it’s lovely it’s not my cup of tea honey and I can’t wait to get back home. I completely agree with how you raise your kids I’m the same. I want my daughter to know things in life must be worked for nothing ever comes easy and one shouldn’t expect a hand out or things to fall into place without hard work, drive and determination. I always want her to realize how fortunate we are and every holiday birthday she goes through her valuables and donates to local charities.

I eat one thing at a time too and my food can NEVER touch. Yes - I know it’s going to the same place, but it doesn’t have to go there together!!! I have sensory issues too and I don’t like certain textures mixing. Like if a piece of corn gets in my mashed potatoes - I get angry! If I know it’s there, I’ll isolate the offending item and move it to the side of my plate so it can sit there and think about what it’s done. Lol.
😂 I also hate that, and wish that more plates came divided
Living In Chrysalis - Kids’ plates come sectioned off - I’ve seriously considered getting a few of them. 🤣

I know exactly what you mean about the friend thing! Ive always given more than I got. After a while you just can't keep giving and giving and getting nothing in return. It's hard to be the one who cares more about the other than they do about you 😥. Also the mom thing. We try our absolute best but there is no such thing as the perfect mom. I think its important to admit our flaws and mistakes and try to improve them as we go 😘❤️

Great video!! I think companies should stop giving PR and instead give UA-camrs a gift card. That way the beauty gurus will only get the products they are interested in and the viewers can trust that they aren't getting a forced review. Plus, think of all the packaging that would be saved from those stupid promotional packages they send out. I don't think any viewers mind UA-camrs getting free makeup but all that wasteful plastic packaging turns my stomach. This community needs to be greener!!

That is such an amazingly efficient way to avoid money thrown out the windows and pollution even though some products are donated to women shelters which I’m so happy with (why giving all the shades in new foundations releases ?? A white person swatching a dark shade doesn’t make sense and doesn’t give any valuable info and vice-versa ) also some beauty “gurus” (hate this damn word ) receive some products that won’t suite their skin tone skin problems , their age, their lifestyle or simply preferences . Some are allergic to some composants too . Choosing a limited amount of products from a new release is such a brilliant idea please put a trade mark on this and sell the concept to them 😂

Hey there, re: Hakuhodo, the Basic, G, and J series brushes are at about the same price point as old MAC and current Wayne Goss brushes. They use the same uncut, undyed bristle materials as their fancy lacquer handled brushes, just with simple enamel painted wooden handles instead. Hope this helps!

So, I literally watch your videos as soon as they pop up in my sub box. EVERY SINGLE DAY!! I’ve been extremely busy and have been impatiently waiting to be able to really relax and watch this video. You did not disappoint. I’ve watched all of your Q&As so I felt like I knew a great deal about you (as much as you’ve shared, of course). Thinking of an assumption or question, therefore, was extremely difficult for me. Hence the silly hat question. About a week after I left that assumption for you, you wore a beanie in an Instagram photo. DARN!! I knew you had a “tactile” sensitivity (people or even you touching your face, etc) so that’s where that silly, really basic assumption came from. Kind of disappointed in my lack of depth. LOL! I tried for the funny, and you laughed, so win for me. Thanks so much for addressing it even tho it was silly. 😘🥰
I still can't get over the fact that you're 5'9". On camera you look 5'3"- it's surprising because I work in film and I should be able to guess pretty accurately.

I can so relate to your anxiety issues, I have ALL of what you're talking about too. Here's what I've been diagnosed with......anxiety, social anxiety, depression, OCD, panic disorder. I was told by the psychiatrist that diagnosed me, they always all go together. If you've got one you've got them all. For me personally, I had to go on anti depressants as my life became unmanageable, I was exhausted from decades of trying to deal with all of this. And that's the best decision I've ever made for myself. Not saying thats what everyone needs to do, but it sure worked for me. Hope you don't mind me sharing all of this but it was just so striking to me how similar this disease is for people with anxiety. I love your videos and also all that you stand for. Thanks for sharing your life with us. xoxo
I finally decided to go the medication route and while i agree it’s not for everyone.... it’s helped me tremendously
@@melthompson2856 it really makes sense because this is after all, simply a chemical imbalance and needs to be treated as such. My mental health is probably THE most important thing to me, b/c once that is in order, I'm actually able to focus on real life.

Ah, well. When I went from the South to Pittsburgh for school, I had to get used to yinz, gumbands, chipped ham and Jint Iggle (Giant Eagle grocery stores). I love colloquial speech patterns. I can remember my first shopping trip looking at the grocery check-out girl in confusion when she asked if I wanted my "popinabag". I had to have her repeat it several times and felt like an idiot until it dawned on me that she was wondering if I wanted to put my soda in a sack :) I do think it very smart in Pennsylvania that all the different sports teams have the same black/gold theme. Makes it much easier on the fans.
