@@MadeOnTape I remember how people were complaining about the Roland Juno Gi. The best thing about it is in fact the build in recorder for me. For exactly the same reason as you named: being off the computer. It provided me another level of creativity. However, the digital recorder has a better signal quality compared to tape.
Love the Tascam and the Mackie’s. I just got my hands on a 246. Can wait to start recording again. What effects are you applying to the 505 samples from the OP1?

I’ll guess…..you used the op-1 to either sequence the 505 or you samples the 505 into the op-1 and sequenced it that way.
