Highly recommend absolute grip used it my first year in college really good grip

personally I don't rate astro latexes that much and would recommend any decent embossed latex glove like a keeper sport varan 6 would be a good choice for all terrain but there are a few models that have embossed latex look around!
Reusch M1 - They don’t make them any more. Google it.
West Coast Embossed Supreme German Latex usually lasts a long time. Maybe even try out their new Monster Grip. But to be honest, any embossed or giga grip latex does fine on turf in terms of durability.

I don’t remember what his go to game glove would be because he mostly coaches now but he says he prefers a tight fit with no negative space and he said that he likes the roll finger cut so this would probably be it

I wouldn’t recommend a half size down in this model it’s already pretty tight at true to size

If I am training a lot should I get the pure alliance in the absolute grip. I heard that they hold their grip more after longer seasons. I might get the supergrips as game gloves so they won’t wear out as much

for game these supergroup gloves are what you want, for training there’s multiple gloves out that can do justice, for example, the absolutgrip version of these gloves or the puma one hybrid one which is what i’m using

How does the HN (half negative) cut compare to the finger surround cut?
HN is more comfortable but the Finger Surround offers better handling as it has more latex coverage on the ball

I just don't get it. I used my newish Uhlsport gloves with the Supergrip + latex and I still think it is rubbish. Am I missing something?
I've heard a lot of problems about the SG latex being hit or miss, maybe your palm is a bad batch

Tbh the tearing was minimal compared to other gloves
A lot of that is due to the softer and wetter fields if it was drier like during some of the earlier reviews it would show a lot more tears

The wrist strapping isn't actually that innovative. I had a pair of Uhlsport back in 2004/05 that used a very very similar style to do the gloves up.
Intrigued that the FS cut has been altered a bit. I tried to use it on an older pair and I absolutely hated it. Even tried going up half a size and still found I couldn't get used to it.
definitely a much less rigid fit on this one, back in 04/05 I was rocking the nike gk grip 3s and im pretty sure some fake reusch models my dad got me XD
@@ARSGoalkeeping The model I had were part of the ergonomic range and were a wet weather glove, you used to pull one strap round onto velcro, then another bit of strap over on top of the first bit. Clean your gloves ffs
They are way too expensive... I need five pairs a season and I'll never spend almost a 1000$ in goakeeper gloves. Goalkeeper should buy better alternatives...

As I sometimes have two games in a week and I like to train with my game gloves because I like to train the way I play, I need two pairs that I can relie on because after washing them I hang them to dry around two days so I can't use them.
After 2-3 months, that is around 20-30 training / game, the palm starts to dry out and the grip starts to disapear, especially in summer
That's why I find very good alternative for 1/3 of the price of these uhlsport's...
@@j.d.p2184 especially if you’re playing on Astro turf that stuff will eat away at your gloves even if you use proper technique
@@Hammyj02 Yes, but for me the main problem is not abrasion, because abrasion doesn't make the latex loosing it's grip, the problem is after 2-3 months, the latex performance starts droping and is not suitable for a game if I can't trust it at a 100 %.
I have a theory that the main factor of a gloves loosing it's performance is not the number of times you are using it, but it is the time, so that's why I use my game gloves in training too and I rotate during the week with my old game gloves and I change game gloves every 1/4 of a season, that means that I use my game gloves 20-30 times before relegating them to a training glove and I do this five time a year.
I think this should be banned idk. I think that the grip is way to much
