In the season premiere, Intelligence is in pursuit of Derek Keyes (guest star Bokeem Woodbine), number one on Chicago's Most Wanted list and heroin kingpin. Meanwhile, Halstead tries to get through to Lindsay as her downward spiral continues after her three-week absence from the unit. At District, Olinsky opens up to Platt about a secret from his past. Roman expresses his concerns to Burgess about what she's getting into by marrying Ruzek.

I felt it, like no joke, i was like OMG! Is it just me or does Jay have the bad luck
I loved these episodes so much, season 3 was on fire!!! But I'm getting tired of the writers always, always torturing Jay, writing smth bad happening to him, or that he always has to have the most complex cases, etc. It's like they don't want him to find happiness, ever!! It's pissing me off!
He lost his mum to cancer and he came back from the war to take care of her because Will could not be bothered, he lost his friends during the war, he was wounded and tortured during the war, he has PTSD, the little brother of his high school girlfriend was killed by the pedophile, he had a conflict with his dad and then lost his dad, never knowing how very proud his dad was of him, he lost Erin, he was kidnapped and tortured twice as a cop in Chicago, lost Antonio who was his best friend in the Unit, now he has problems with Hailey and all the Roy/FBI mess, etc etc. It's just insane! He lost the most out of all the PD characters, next to Voight! And still, he is strong af! I love Jay but can the writers please, stop torturing him and allow him to be happy for once?!
