My wife bought me this around 4 weeks ago as my bday present and I absalouetly love it! I researched some e scooters for a while and I kept coming back to the engwe s6.. It was brand new on Ebay for £450 and it's a lot better than my 1st bog standard e scooter I bought.. I had a lot of trouble with changing inner tubes all the time and it kept cutting out on me but if your in 2 minds about getting 1 of these I'd say go for it! I go every were on it and not just flat roads either I also use it every single day and it's still perfect been used in the shit uk weather! The speed and range is perfect for this price range scooter. If you are wanting anything better u will be paying a lot more but u can't complain for the price it's bob on! 👍 Hope this helps any1
Quick question as I just got one. How do you best carry it up stairs? I thought maybe folding front down and carrying it by the bar would be the easiest, but the bar just simply swings to the side when I try to lift it. Is there a way to lock the steering while carrying it?
I ordered this since my other e scooter is not working anymore. Do you kick start this one or is there a pedal to push?. Also, is there any assembly required?
@@TechMishka i just got it today. FOr the most part, everything is set to go. However, there was a little bag with a wrench and few other things inside. Whats it for? I went through the manual but it does not say
I reall like the reviews you make, and your thural tests of products like this E-scooter, but if looking at the Engwe, EU webshop, the "specs" they have written there, are not all similar to your description in your review ... Such as the motor power, range, speed.... ( peak power is listed to only 700, not 750, and range is listed to only 60km not 70, and again, all depending on the weight of the rider) It would be interesting if you could find a similar e-scooter, in the same price range, that also can carry upto 120kg, and that (perhaps) has enough torque to be driven around on trails/roads that have a little bit of variation of the terrain, not just flat asphalt ;-) ... I have been trying to find something within this pricerange myself, but being 190cm weighing 103kg, I'll be getting ahead a lot faster and probably also easier just riding my normal mountain bike, opposed to trying to get an e-scooter like the S6 to actually move uphill :-D
@@paulac2311 hey yah k you for replying? It would be awesome to talk to someone else who has our scooter! Man I love this scooter! It is so awesome! I just started riding it in the cold and has had zero issues.
Is the bench comfortable? Standing up causes pain in my knees, I want to try the bench, is the bench comfortable and does it have space to put your feet on the bench?
KuKirin are better about build quality. You can search for scooters with LGnor Samsung batteries - these will for sure retain capacity in the long run.
After I bought my Engwe Engine pro ebike and the problems i had straight out of the box and the time it took to resolve the problems ( I was glad I paid with PayPal ) took 3 months to sort out . Very wary of Engwe after that
It's crazy that I bought a scooter the same price as that one with practically less specs than that one I really was stupid and I didn't know this scooter existed in Amazon and I got screwed
Hi! New sub here! I have a question, I need a long range electric scooter ... Do you think there is others (better or similar) scooters with 70km range in that price range? Thanks!
I get 51 kilometres per hour from mine have you unlocked the scooter you have to hold the front break and turn the scooter on and hold the throttle and break for 30 seconds it unlocks the scooter
Looks like the same as Kugoo Kirin M4 Pro or Ienyrid M4 Pro S. The price is almost the same for the 3 of them, but the Kugoo has a 18Ah battery which i think is an improvement. The suspension looks better on the Engwe (because of the forks instead of springs) but all theese scooters have a medium build quality (Brake discs, suspension, battery, motors all come from the same factory) so one must be prepared to fix and improve little things by yourself. They will never be reliable out of the box, but they are a good base for improvement. For the price you should not expect to much. The only thing we do not know and nobody ever talks about in the reviews is the quality of the battery cells (because for sure they are not made by Samsung or LG) it is very likely that they will start loosing capacity fast after 200 charges. Time will show
There are some similarities indeed. But - not the same. The forks look nice but are not that responsive. What you say about the price is totally right - really impressive they;ve fitted that much within $600.
@@TechMishka Totally exaggerated to make it sound so bad. Smashed to bits is like throwing an egg to the floor. The fender was cracked. Not smashed to bits.
@@NBA-gt7lp after buying this, within 20 days the back red light doesn't work properly and blinking with no reason then it's totally off. I show the assembly part in the video. It supports the 0-start feature, no kick required.

I’m looking for a scooter to work which is 6.8km from me, what would you recommend?
Almost any scooter from the last 2-3 years will do fine

Removeable battery? Tyvm ⚘️
Unfortunately not

I prefer the Kigoo line
Kindly update us after days of usage?. Any issues?

Yeah. The breaks makes a lot of noise.

Ouch! Sadly this is often something to see with Chinese ebike makers.
is it possible to turn off the RGB? It's illegal to use in traffic in my country
It shuts off with the lights. Alternatively, you can find a way to cut the wires...
You stick it with Black insulating tape and done.
