Lovely Tour , I'm so jealous of all that room , i am struggling with a lathe , milling machine , pillar drill , mini lathe and assorted tools in a 7x7 shed .
Hi David. Your workshop looks really slick now. Your efforts are showing well on your videos. You have some nice gear packed in your working area. Like the welding goggles lol. Tony
Lot of changes in just a year, David. The workshop is looking fab. Such a good use of space. I really must put in some LED lighting - especially now that I see how efficient it is. I am almost getting to the stage where I can plan things rather than shift one pile of stuff from one place to another when I need to use tools. If/when I get a decent working space I will drop you a pic or two. :-)
Thanks Sandy, yeah LED lighting is great apart from it shows up how messy the workshop can get 😀 When your sorted yep just dm me your pics on Instagram👍 Take care David 🙂👍
Great progress over the past year, in which I've much enjoyed all of your videos. Very much looking forward to whatever you get up to in 2021. All the best to you in the coming year.
Thanks for the tour David 😁. A nice little reminder of all the improvements you have made 😁. It feels like years ago you were putting up the tool wall... a year has just whizzed bye. Looking forward to your next projects. Stay safe David 😁👍
Mine gets really messy when I'm doing projects. I try to keep on top of it or else it slows me down trying to fight my way around stuff and look for things. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Horrible to hear you got broken into 😡 I know how devastating that is. There are some horrible people about who would steal another mans tools. The workshop is looking a treat and I'm very jealous of your wood stove 👍🏼
When you pull your lathe out, do you attach it to the bench? We've had a lathe for years but I just used it myself first time over Christmas. I want to use it some more. I have been watching videos and saw someone mentioned that it has to be attached, but I was considering storing it on the wall or on a table over the top of table saw and letting the lathe sit back against the wall and pull it out when we needed it. Am I going to need to clamp it down? I don't expect we will be doing anything very large.
I do put a couple of screws through the holes in the lathe base going into my work bench. I just keep using the same holes in the bench each time. Thank you for watching David 👍
I have 6mm cable running inside a full run of tough flexible conduit buried a couple of foot in the ground. It comes from the house consumer unit into an old consumer unit in the workshop. If I had to do it again I would use armoured cable etc. I would recommend using an electrician for major work like this though. Take care David 👍
Looking good David thanks for sharing. 👍👍🍺🍺
Thanks for watching Brian, take care David 🙂👍

Great video David. Makes me realise how much extra space I could add to my workshop, if I extended mine. Looking forward to your next porojct.

The workshop is looking a treat and I'm very jealous of your wood stove 👍🏼
The fire was a very lucky find and it is better looking than the one in the house 😀
A well organised workshop. Can't really do a tour of my workshop as it's not set up properly yet
