A bit of pressing there...nice straight pressing. Good to see, great to watch.
Cheers Benny, glad you enjoyed it, my pressing game has improved since fixing up the old press. Its a much more relaxed affair nowadays. Almost hard to bugger things up.
Well thought out cobber, John, Australia.

Is that a common config on Japanese hub assemblies? Seems strange...
G'day Rick, yes it used to be. Not any more though, they are all generally a bolt in replacement hub nowadays. Cheers Mate.
Trevor what is the mileage on the Z for you to rebuild front assembly like this?
Hard to say Mate, the dash mileage from memory is really low, like 75,000k's. I call Bullshit. its probably had various dash's + been rolled back in Japan before export & maybe again here, who knows. Visually, from the driveline parts that still appeared to be original when I got the car (not a lot) it has to be north of 200,000. How north, pretty much impossible to determine. Cheers Mate.
Just to double check. Don't grease the bearings?
G'day Brian, the factory bearings come pre greased, some aftermarket ones may not. Cheers.
