Have you thought about using a different primer?? It seems like most foundations don't work for you and the common denominator is that primer...just saying...
Im confused by last comment...like noone said ANYTHING like that at all..
Anyway ..i do agree maybe her primer does not work for her..like maybe her oily skin and the primer make some sort of "reaction" with the foundations..and that is why most foundations dont work for her..
And a si gle primer will not work with every Foundation...
I havent found a HG primer yet but i do experiment with them to see what works with what better

Totally agree. I've always used the Huda Beauty foundation with Too Faced Hangover Rx primer, and it has been my favorite foundation since I've tried it. Until I ran out of the Too Faced primer, used a different one and hated how the Huda Beauty foundation sat on my face. Primers really make a big difference
Ever thought of changing your primer? I think it doesn't do any good on your oily skin and foundation. I'm no expert but i think there are non-silicon mattr primers out there. But still a good video! Love watching you.

I agree that the same primer does not work for every foundation, depending on the type of foundation, finish etc. I have to switch things up as well as thinking about my skin due to hormones, season e.g dry patches, oily, redness, breakouts. I have to adapt skincare & primer to suit. Just like you don’t use a beauty blender for every foundation as some work better with a brush etc. I think you need to play around with the same foundation a bit more & try different prep.

Awhile ago she said silicone primers break her out, which sucks cause those are the best primers
i do use silicone primers too, but i take off everything with makeup remover towels and clarisonic!! i took my clarisonic everywhere i go!! :D
I suggest using primer on only half of the face for testing. Or 2 different styles of primers on each half.

I think you would really benefit not skipping your inner eye super nose area when you put on foundation. You can't tell if your glasses rubbed it off it you don't put it there in the first place

Please blend your foundation better. I know you don’t wear glasses or contacts while applying but still. Try stippling your brush instead of swiping?
Tran.NNBTT or use a magnifying mirror. I have really bad eyesight so without my glasses it’s a struggle so I use a magnifying mirror and then once I’ve done most of my foundation I pop my glasses on and touch it up etc x

I really wish you’d change your primer to a mattifying one or maybe do one side with primer and the other side without.
Let's find a different primer for you, babe! I know you can't do silicone, but there are a handful of mattifying primers that you could put in your T-Zone that aren't silicone based. Off the top of my head, Korres Pomegranate Mattifying, the Cover FX Mattifying drops, Benefit Mattifying Gel ... Something, can't remember the exact name, and Soap and Glory "One Heck of a Blot". 🤗 Just to try! I'm interested to see if it will help you! ❤️😘
I love your foundation reviews but I agree about the primer you’re using, there are non silicon matte primers you should really look for one. Not to mention you never blend onto where your glasses sit, and you drag the makeup brush!! You’re supposed to stipple! That’s why your makeup doesn’t get blended or look as good. I feel like a lot of this stuff we’ve been telling you for a long time so not sure why you haven’t changed some of the methods because it really is user error and isn’t giving the foundations a fair chance

As you gave us clips of going through the day- I was like "Her eyes look amazing!" Currently, I use UA-cam to relax from my normal schedule as a full time student and your channels are one of my favorites! Thank you, Cassie!
Hey Cassie! Correct me if I’m wrong, but primers should not be breaking you out unless you do not properly remove all traces of it and as well as any type of makeup. They are not meant to be absorbed by the skin, such as a moisturizer, they just sit on top and fill in your pores. Unless you actually have some sort of allergic reaction, can you please consider testing out different mattifying primers?

Have you ever thought about trying each foundation a few times before filming reviews? You always seem apathetic during these first impressions and say you’ll have to do further testing.
Sara Lewis for sure. There’s so much trial and error which needs to occur for foundations.
No, I like the first time application for the reasons that if I have spent say $40 -I want to know how it works with my normal moisturizer, primer and powder. I guess I get irked by dropping my hard earned money on a product that should perform without 8 different trial and runs. Hell, if i bought a new perfume it won't take me 8 times to figure which soap, lotion, shower gel, towel it needs for me to like the scent. Make up is so fun but I feel like we are being pushed into a scenario that you find a product you love and then it gets reformulated into something better/bigger and it doesn't perform the same.
Can I ask why you don't apply foundation to the space between your nose and eyes? (Inner corners)

Your hair looks super cute today! Also, any chance you'd be willing to try foundations with the primer on only half your face? That info is really more useful to me personally and than the different application methods. That primer is pretty spendy so I'd like to see how the foundation holds up without it. Again, that's just what I find most useful to know.

You should test some MAC foundations. Either Studio Fix or Pro-longwear. They also have a waterproof foundation. They are some of my HG. I think you might like 😋

Love this foundation and I have dry skin..I def set it w powder so that it doesn’t transfer. Amazing foundation imo.. If its an extra dry day I add a little L’Oréal pro glow and it makes it look even better..

I honestly think this foundation works best on combo to dry skin. Most oily girls I know didn’t like this foundation but personally being combo skin it’s one of my holy grails.

i still don't understand why you don't put the foundation over your browbone/lids? even when you're makeup is all finished that space looks incomplete and makes the entire face look muddy & unfinished, I think. You do makeup your way, OFC, I'm just so confused as to why you leave that space free of any product? If it creases in the lid, just wipe it off the crease area? I don't know... Your brows are looking real cute tho!
Lids are the most oily area. Probably a matte full coverage foundation would make the skin feel like its dehydrated and corrupt the foundation, using natural oils as a sign of dehydration. Maybe its better to use a specific product for the eyelid, and considering that its a foundation review, maybe inst exactly neccesary.

I know there’s lots of comments about using different primers but if you like that primer and find silicone ones break you out maybe try a mattifying moisturiser instead I have super oily skin and lots of Silicone primers don’t agree with my skin either but mattifying moisturiser helps to counteract some of the oils x

I don't know if you can get it in the US but my skin type is very similar to yours and I find a lot of primers clog my skin as well so I use the Sukin Mattifyinh charcoal moisturiser instead of a primer and I love it.
I actually love the length of your hair!! It's looking really good and healthy! I've seen a couple of people review this foundation and they didn't really like it much. One had said that it was hard to blend out and set quickly... I'm actually afraid to try it.

The 3 spots that you covered... once you came back with your eyes done.... the redness was back as well. So I would call this a fail.
This foundation was a major disappointment to me. I dont even have oily skin. I have normal to dry skin, and this foundation starts coming off around my mouth and nose very noticeably within an hour or so....even faster if i sweat even the slightest. Thank you soooooo much for reviewing this. I now feel vindicated that it isnt just me that this foundation doesnt perform so stellar on. Btw....i LOVE your channel! You are my newly discovered favorite🤩
