- We had an incredible time at MIPIM - the world’s largest real estate conference - these past four days.
We showcased two of our largest developments: Trojena and THE LINE, and shared how we're creating a more sustainable society that responds to global challenges.
All while fully supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 🇸🇦

Why are the promotion videos always quick cut shots ment to hype people with no real information? Every time I see one of these, it's always people talking about how great it is but I can rarely find any facts I actually want to know? Why not cover the actual design in depth, the construction and what's actually planned to come in and around? It's not like anyone's going to spend a trillion to copy it 🙄 I'm excited but the lack of details in these videos just annoys me and makes me have very little faith in the projects current state and future success. It's like telling the world you have built the newest and greatest sports car but only show how amazing the outside looks, refusing to talk about what's under the hood until it launches. This leaves intelligent people skeptical 🤷

I know I'll definitely never be able to see this place up close but this will be interesting to observe.
@@jennoq1311 because I'm not excited when a snake oil salesman tries to sell me a "cure-all" so why would I be excited by this? I get they are trying to do something big but the actual lack of details outside of some fancy videos that even I could make are insulting to viewers and potential investors. Heck, one of the original promo videos had flying cars in it 🙄 Let's not forget that virtually every other mega project in the middle east has failed in some way. Even the burj khalifa is sinking into the ground and crumbling under its weight with rumors that no one can even stand to be in the upper floors due to its awful swaying. This is simply a vain attempt by the crown prince to push his idea of the countries future path knowing that oil exports will soon decrease due to an increase of population, which in return increases the burden on their already overstrained social welfare system with loss in revenue caused by the lack of oil export. The majority of their GDP comes from 1 state owned company and trying to bring in outside business while also decrease their promised expenses to sooth an angry population, all with a fog of vagueness draped over it is just, simply put, shady.
If they truly have the technology needed actually implemented, then great! But they are still in the subterranean stage and the projects over budget. Funds will be cut for quality of life aspects that are promoted for anyone deemed "subclass" and the city will end up being some kind of weird dystopian housing unit from judge dread
