Low maintenance. ISTPs have long been one my favorite types with which to work (if I must work with anyone at all). They get the job done, and as long as you treat them with even a modicum of honesty and respect, they'll do the same in return... and there's no one better from which to learn hands-on skills than an ISTP. They're happy to teach just as long as you're willing to accept their instruction as they see fit to bestow it. They're deeper than they let on, but they don't wallow in abstract matters. Buying 'em a cold beer every now and then goes a LONG way to winning them over. Treat 'em right and they'll give back far more than they ask in return. -- INTP

To good part of the internet, sensors are usually seen as normies and short-sighted individuals, while intuitive types are seen as those abstract, deep and incomprehensible beings that are usually misunderstood by society because of their out-of-the-box thinking, which ngl, it's true to some extent. However, I can reflect on past experiences where I have done this, and its been those experiences with others where I've had the most joy and sense of purpose in life, because I was contributing to something other than myself while simultaneously contributing in a way that's unique to my own.
It's nice to be able to see these tips written out and explained in detail haha, it's like a confirmation to let me know these habits I do are actually necessary. Thanks for the vid :-)

I've never wanted to lead, though I apparently have the competency. In the roles I've done over the years, seniority try to push me in that direction, nothing could appeal to me less. I much prefer to help from the sidelines, that way I can observe and narrow in on a path that I think will work well, without the pressure of responsibility.

Here's why I got a lot out of rule 2. This was my late fathers personality. I'm an enfp/right on the line of entp. In many ways we were opposites but became each other's most important person. I always learned from my father but as an adult he also (somehow) began learning things from me. I was his closest confidant and I don't think he trusted anyone's opinion more in the end. He was his own thinker and force of nature but we offered things to each other not just as father and daughter but also as individuals.

As an INFJ, i really have a soft spot for ISTPs, they feel very similar to us in some ways, but a great compliment to us in the ways we're opposites. I vibe with ESTPs a lot too, but I kind of admire them and they drive me up the fuckin wall at the same time haha. Being introverts, i think ISTPs are more compatable with INFJ in a relationship potentially, and ESTPs are healthy friends for an INFJ i think, in the ways we inspire eachother with our differences in a yin-yang kind of way - INFJs and ISTPs, from what i can see, share a very similar philosophy for life ultimately, both of us would like to be left alone to pursue our passion and purpose in life (whatever that is for you), with maybe a partner and one or two close friends. Difference is that INFJ cares much more about other people and pleasing others, though many of us wish we cared less and can take a page from ISTPs book on that front haha. ISTPs perhaps wished they had those deeper, meaningful soul-level connections with others, which an INFJ can provide and can see in them even if they try to hide it. Its a good dynamic to have one person who deals with the physical realm and the practical stuff (ISTP) and one who deals with the vision, planning and ideas (INFJ). The meaning and purpose of things matters a hell of a lot to INFJs too, and i think ISTPs value that philosophy too, even if thinking in that way is not necessarily how they automatically approach things. I think ISTPs really seem to grow and flourish with a purpose, but idk, share your thoughts. Im curious about an ISTPs perspective, particularly, do you enjoy pholisophical discussions at all, or that an INFJ can see beneath your masks and like you for your inner and outer self? My ESTP friend seems to both be a bit freaked out by, and super appreciative of me seeing beneath his mask and bullshit, and loving him anyway for it lol, i think it confuses him like hell 😂 he's a typical rough-looking exterior, covered in tatoos etc etc, but soft on the inside, though he rarely lets people see that side of him. I saw him that way the first moment i met him lol 😂😂 idk why we can, but thats the curse/blessing of the INFJs intuitive insight i guess 🙃 For the record, were not trying to read you, it's as automatic to us as noticing what colour your hair or eyes are, and we notice these things about literally everyone we meet. It's second nature to us. And is in equal measure frustrating as heck and good insight, i guess. 😅 Ramble over, i just like ISTPs and think they are a great blance for INFJs in the ways we're super different, and surprisingly quite similar. And visa-versa. Much love to all the ISTPs from an INFJ lol , we do understand you, if you dont mind us needing your help to remember and deal with practial physical-realm things, and trying to talk to you about how existentially cool it is that the sand on the beach we touch and often think nothing of is actually millions of years old rock crushed into tiny particals and was probably the same sand walked by dinosaurs, and how small and big that makes this planet and the concept of time feel, but how nice it is to feel the connection and meaning of the universe in something as small and every-day as a pile of sand.... While you're engeneering your earthquake proof sand castle and wondering what the hell we're talking about, and why we've said almost nothing the whole day until we philosophise about a grain of fucking sand out of nowhere lmfao 😂🙃🙃 We dont know either 🥲... this is why we cant remember to buy milk and eggs even though we ran out of them over two and a half weeks ago lmao someone please send help 😂😭😓😓

And for question 2, I can’t speak for everyone, but it I personally hate to ask for tips to leave a rut, and usually turn online, or just figure it out myself. And for 3, yes. Sometimes I get so focused on not getting in trouble (sec cameras, people watching, recording with phones, etcetera) that I lose track of being social, or vice versa. 1: Not really, like if you were to lock us up in a cell we would struggle with that a lot but when it comes to being around others No we are good company to ourselves, and we enjoy a lot of activities we can do alone.
2: I tend to procrastinate very often if I lack knowledge about something, spending the time to learn all of it before I will start with pretty much anything.
3: No, it is not at all difficult we just don't have the same priorities as other people we don't really care what you think of us unless you are really close to us like a family member, or SO, for social situations it's not overwhelming, it is not difficult to juggle but it is tiring, especially when people talk about things that don't matter to us like the weather, we want deeper conversations about real things that is how you connect to us socially ask us difficult questions. then we will be much more interested and less tired of you talking.
We can pretty much for the most part get through it but once we realize we aren't gaining anything from being in that social situation, or event anymore we just leave which is why we leave early very often, also it depends on what social situation it is, if it's like a party we just can't enjoy that so very likely we will just reject the invitation, or not show up or just for a little bit to say hi, then leave.

@@KEEP_it_REAL647 It does. Thank you. I do have more questions but I wouldn’t like to cross a line because some people prefer to keep some aspects to themselves. But I will just say that depression, anxiety and reaction based on fear is a shared aspect. In terms of tips and advice - yes, figuring things independently is what gets me in “trouble” in the first place. It supports the loop. Self-reliance can be actually problematic. Realizing how you are setting a trap for yourself can get you out of the trap (hopefully). I am still in the process of exploring this idea.

Sorry for the drastic change in topic, but there is a genocide going on and we need your help to save human lives. Palestine is going through a genocide in Gaza Strip at the hands of the Occupation, and they are blocking humanitarian aid from entering, causing mass starvation despite the hundreds of aid trucks waiting at the gate. Worse, the Occupation and West countries are now defunding UNRWA, a prominent aid organisation to Palestinians, over unproven accusations of dangerous individuals within the UNRWA. They are starving defenseless civilians, including thousands of children and babies that are still suckling. Please donate to Palestine. Please spread awareness of the genocide. Please save the children. Don't let them be killed in silence...

As an ENTP, i would find it really hard to work together with an ISTP, if he is only stealing my ideas. Fi is very low, and i need someone i can trust to share my ideas with. It isn’t going to be this one way thing where i make ideas and he takes the ideas. ENTP’s weakness is (intellectual) property. We know this Se weakness. We need to tread this very carefully. But i don’t believe in general ISTP is the way to go for us.

On the other hand, we have too many ideas. Actually too many. You can have the crumbs i will never work on myself, especially if they require high Se being active.

Depends on what you work on together but if you both have the same idea, or we ISTP agree with a good idea then what need is there to come up with something else if you already found the best solution to a problem.
We tend to be much better with anything requiring tools, like putting things together like PC's or furniture or making something or sports we feel a need to understand something thoroughly.
If there is a lack of explanation for something we come up with a theory independent of what already exists, but it will probably be an existing theory we just never heard of.
I came up with just gambling twice as much every time you lose because it is very difficult to keep losing as long as you have the resources necessary to keep going until you win once, then you quit.
Then I explained it to others, and someone told me later on that is already a gambling strategy with a specific name, even though it is my theory that I calculated, and thought through and came up with.

@anonymousejr I'm just an ISFP who subjectively finds entire ENTP sexier.
I use understanding and application of abstracts as a guide for how bangable people are.
