He needs to go on a platform he controls the content. Such as youtube or his own facebook group. If he does youtube, he can start doing 5th gen toyota reviews etc etc. Ask someone to review his products then post it on his youtube channel
This was a great audit. Do you have any videos on processing orders?
I added some Jeep POD items, I got warned and slapped, had to take down ASAP
I'm confused, so the words Toyota 4runner is not trademarked? I would think you couldn't put that in the titles or description which makes this whole thing super hard to market.
I think the difference is that when you say - Toyota 4Runner - you are using the words to describe the actual item. Saying the words isn’t trademarked. What is trademarked is using the words or images of Toyota on an actual product that is sold. Then it can be assumed that you are selling official Toyota merchandise, which you are not unless Toyota gave you permission to do so. That is when Toyota can come after you, they have a right to use their property the way they want to, and if you use their stuff without their permission you are circumventing that.
Toyota 4Runner is trademarked - Reg no.1340581. He could get slapped with a cease and desist and get totally shut down and fined.

Is he allowed to use the word Toyota? (Trademark issues) His announcement states Toyota did not give him permission, yet he has the brand name in his listings. His titles need work...does not have the words car, vehicle, truck, sport utility vehicle in his titles.
Hi Suzanne. Thank you for asking this as it means my description is not clear enough and I will fix it. When we started we wanted to put the Toyota logo on our products, so I filed the paperwork with Toyota and they said, sorry not at this time. We thought we needed the push from the Toyota branding but as it turns out, if you make a good product you don’t need it.
Our reasoning behind the titles is to make them more clear as opposed to keyword stuffing. We didn’t change all our titles at once, but it hasn’t hurt us going with simple titles as far as we can tell and we will be simplifying all our titles. Truck, car, and SUV seems too vague and will pull in customers that have no use for our products. We want to be as clear as possible as to exactly who we are selling to. Hope I was able to help you answer your questions.
@@dswoboda71Would you be able to print graphics or text on your products so customers could personalise them? Maybe graphics would attract repeat sales for people wanting to refresh/switch up their vehicle for Christmas, fall, vacations, or just for a change etc?
@@wendyjkennedyYes, we do graphics and text. We have done lots of customized orders for people. We are working on offering many different faceplates for our drawers. We only have the Halloween one at the moment, but a family member is a graphic artist and is designing us many more. It just takes time to get everything completed.
@@dswoboda71 You are missing my point - by using the brand name Toyota 4Runner in your tags, title and descriptions you are essentially opening your business up to a possible lawsuit from Toyota. You are making money from their brand without being a licensed seller.
@@SuzanneRowellI see what you are saying, but the difference is my listing is saying my parts are FOR the Toyota 4Runner. You are allowed to use the words Toyota 4Runner when you type and speak. You are not allowed to put those words, in those fonts, on products that you sell. Could you imagine never being about to say the name Toyota 4Runner when talking about a 4Runner? It would be silly. This is the same concept. I have to say what my parts are for, otherwise who would know what I’m selling? I am not selling official Toyota parts, but parts that fit in a 4Runner. People have to know this information. Hope that clarifies it a bit.
