    Please be aware, Amazon Drop Shippers are changing their links to the mould I usually use, and changing the prices to much higher prices, I have updated the link but please do not order if the mould is not the one I have used here. I will be raising this with Amazon.

      This is not good practise from drop shippers, or Amazon for allowing this to take place. Please, do not order from my link if the moulds do not match.x

    Wow! Oh, wow! Those are *beautiful!* I can't choose a favorite...I love them all! I *think* I prefer a black background for most of them, but the white with the brown shades? AWESOME! It looks like a slice of agate! Wonder what an off-site or cream shade would look like? Oooh...Daniel, maybe you could try the brown and amber shades with a gold metallic? Geode! 😊 Also, I wonder how light and/or dark shades of blue for a background would look? Bet they'd be gorgeous with the yellow & green shades.

    • @fairyspunfibers9098
      @fairyspunfibers9098 2 роки тому

      Oils? I had in mind metallic alcohol inks or micas, mixed first in a bit of resin to maybe make them sink and mix with the other colors when you do "the swirl", rather than float on the surface as they usually do - so annoying!

    I like that mold. Your petri’s all turned out great! The negative space with the black and white background really does make the colors pop. Haven’t done petri’s in quite awhile and they’re such fun to do! Purchased Let’s Resins heat mat but, haven’t used it yet. This weekend will be a good time to do some petri’s and give it a try.. going wait until after I do my swirls tho.😆 I always enjoy your videos Daniel, thanks for sharing❤

    • @daniel..cooper
      @daniel..cooper  2 роки тому

      Thanks, be careful with petri using heat, it can loosen the resin causing the sinker to blob. Ideally, allow the resin to sit for a few hours before adding to the mat. I will make a video when I get mine 😊

  • @robandhisresin13
    @robandhisresin13 2 роки тому +1

    I still get some blobbing and I think it’s because I need to add more alcohol to my sinker white because when it comes to stirring there’s always a skin on the white which just comes out with my stirrer. Hopefully that will work but I’ve already put so much alcohol in my white that I think my liver is getting jealous lol. Really enjoy your videos and always look forward to them.

    Hi Daniel, I love this mold and would like to purchase it. However, it can nowhere to be found at Amazon. Do you have any idea when it might be available?

      Hi Marlies, where are you located? You may have to purchase from the Amazon.com website and pay a shipping fee like I did.

      @@daniel..cooper I just ordered two to make it easier for making earrings. It would be nice if the molds came in pairs.

    Steve McDonald done an experiment on alcohol ink, they faded with sunlight. He was then told in comments he was unfair as Let’s Resin inks do not fade, so he done another experiment with their ink. And he has apologised as Let’s resin ink does not fade like other brands, so I only buy their ink

      @@daniel..cooper awesome, he done the challenge. I must admit after his first test I thought no way not going to buy alcohol ink but on the second test I am now a fanatic 😂 and now your videos keep me awake at night watching the different techniques 😂

    I am confused by the way you put the inks down first. Don't they stick to the mold rather than putting down resin first?

    I might try this but I dislike the molds with the holes. I much rather use glue on bails, they just look nicer than any jump rings or wire or so.
