Hamilton released an upgraded version that is a more traditional dive watch with a 43mm case and 300 meters water resistance. It has gotten very good reviews and if you or someone you know deep sea dive it would be awesome if it could be field tested.
As someone with a 6.25 inch wrist, never dives, and who just wants a small, fun, dive-style weekend watch, this looks like an absolute possible next pick up 😂
Why do you say 40mm is not traditional dive watch size? You only need look at the Rolex Sub which was 40mm for decades and decades and that was a large watch back in the day. Would I like a higher WR rating, yes, but many older Seiko recreational divers were only 150m divers, some were 70m sport divers. Who is going to dive below 100m? Appreciate your perspective.
I have the blue bezel version with the bracelet, got it when I just started in hobby and honestly its huge disappointment. Winding the crown feels awful even for the price range, it feels almost like plastic.
I agree with you 💯 but I don't know if the Black bay is considered iconic it's just popular. It hasn't been out long enough. When I think iconic I think Heuer Monaco, Rolex Submariner, Orfina PD. Watches that been around for decades.
small wrists here and deepest i go is balls. Oss
@@crouchingmole 😂 fair enough

I'll definitely check those out, thanks

And you will love it I’m sure. These are definitely cool looking watches

Yeah, I probably should have said modern instead of traditional.. I’m sticking with the 200m though 😁👍
The cherry red one looks pretty nice, I can't swim so if the WR is getting tested I have bigger problems 😆
Get the Hamilton Scuba 43mm with ceramic insert and 300m/1000ft wr. That's the one I have.
Yeah, I’ll definitely give it a try 👍
You are totally correct Robert.🤗
The one to have is the Hamilton Scuba 43mm, 300 m.
Good video. I have a couple of Hammies, including a Below Zero diver. They are great watches, and perfect value for money.
I agree. Great brand, great value, great heritage, and of course great watches. 👍

How many people dive with their dive watch?
🤷🏻♂️ I have no idea, but I assume it’s definitely the minority
@@advrob Good for timing parking meters.
That’s actually a great idea!!
Diver size = 41-43
10 ATM 😮Gosh, that is definitely a dealbreaker 😒What a pity bc particularly the yellow one is so gorgeous
I'm with you.
4:48 your never going 328 feet underwater and that’s only 100 meters…. 😂😂😂
I agree with every point you have said. 100m????? WTF!
100 meters is crazy ... I heard Hamilton lume isn't amazing either. I would never consider a Hamilton for diving.
Don't do seasons, don't do bright colours. Don't do trends.
Save up a bit more an get a used BB58. Do icons.

You are right 💁🇩🇪
