Make it it's own zippo lighter hauler to hold a zippo lighter car the car you would have to build 😢 but i bet you probably have most of the stuff to do it
Striker replacement flints have their own threaded holder attached. Can be installed with just a screw. They are available at welding supply stores and some well stocked hardware stores.
@@mikeupton5406 I've been thinking about it before this truck came out. My first idea was for a Big Dog trailer build. Right now I'm building an overland teardrop with a YR trailer as the base.
So so glad CEN and Redcat dropped correctly sized scale trucks to pull or haul other rigs with. This thing just looks badass and has plenty of potential to really detail it however you want. The Ratrods look good on the back of it. Old school gasser or stock car with a bunch of tires mounted to the cab guard wouldn't look out of place either.
YES! Red Cat bodies are spendy, but there's going to be feeding frenzy for these cabs, Lexan or not. That cab 😘 On a rewatch I realized you said bagged, not back half the chassis. I was picturing a narrowed rear frame with a narrow Beeftubes AR44 rear axel and some of those super wide Bandito tires with street tread😆 Still a aftermarket kit for RC Everyday! So glad Red Cat sent one of these to RC Everyday early. Your closeup on this up on this model was great.
Back watching Christmas day Mary Christmas Josh, got the LEDs and the servos put in today man I just love the lights and the drop-down feature yeah you know what I mean heck yeah 👍👍😎
This thing is gonna look badass when you get the LED's and the stickers on the bed and maybe a winch. You should think about putting the on/off switch in the battery compartment. 👍👍 I think that compartment on the controller is for storing a remote for a winch.
I'm not super big into the 50s COEs, but this is one helluva clean rig! I do wonder how those wheels would look on the CEN super duty trucks...or under a TRX-6 Hauler cab...hmm...slammed freightliner build?
I think the shiny car hauler compliments the weathered rat ride. I get one it is staying shiny yeah OK one more time up down gosh that is so cool. Well I’ll watch for your video on the Trailer.
As if that hauler wasn't cool enough, the look was 10 times better with the squarebody and the rat-rods on it! The Hilux and the Amigo looked really cool on it too! Great video as always Josh!
Good video, very informative. though it would have been nice if you'd shown pulling out installing the ramps, & shown driving the Rat Rod off then back on.
of anyone this is the perfect ramp truck for your rides , cannot wait to see what you do with this , this some weathering this will look even more amazing ..
Wish I didn't have two built cen f450s would love to pick one up just no need for another hauler. The COE is alot cheaper then building a cen f450 that ls for sure
Only thing i see i dont like is the servo mounted on the axle. everything else though is perfect. That C channel chassis is going to be epic for custom builds.
Preorders start shipping this week. They will be available in limited quantities on the redcat website around the 20th. If your local hobby shop has any in order they will be your soonest chance.
Dang I was dreaming haha, it hard to find a nice bigger set that actually look like the us style, I have a grand hauler I turned into a stretched Pete that I’ve been trying to find some good looking wheels for
That's a great truck also it is correct looking cab to bed. It doesn't like miss matched at all I just wish it didn't cost so much. I've been fooling the real vehicles and they cost way to much now. Since that stupid covid crap everything has gone up and these great little toys cost way to much but they are Beautiful
I'm gonna get this but was disappointed that they went the lowrider way with this. Perfect opportunity to make a scale hauler and could've made something innovative and instead they go with "air ride." I'd rather saw a light bar and a servo winch
There's a spot for a Micro99 servo winch in the front of the bed. When mounted there, you can feed the line through the fake winch and put your hook on that. Will work with the stock radio as well.
Several well placed flints designed for a Zippo lighter, would help light up the night when it laid out while driving...💥💥💥

Or Amazon, 20 for 10 bucks.
These trucks are beautiful. If I ever get one, I'm using a mailbox to make a retro motorhome.
A mailbox into a retro motor home.
That's brilliant! Old Iron R/C made that cabover out of an old toaster. A mailbox👍

Nice rig. Plenty of room under the hood for several cases of moonshine. 😊
Redcat coming at ya with in your face cool at an affordable price
Gosh that is so sweet, got my driveshaft today for my rat rod here watching
Way cooler than the traxxas...im so glad i waited. Im getting this sucker
Video is awesome, your work on this rig is a fun watch. Redcat 💪 perfect for your ratrods💯
You need to Rat that thing out, add your special touch . Just starting to build my own Rat Rod thanks to your videos, love your builds.
A sound kit and lights would be amazing! Great video
They should make a 90s Isuzu cab for it. I bet the JDM boys would buy these like crazy.
Such a cool truck. Man. I'd like to get one, but then I'd be diving down the '64 rabbit hole like a fox...
Wow awesome video my friend,, and cool rc car 👍👍💯😅😊😮

That bed would be sweet behind F450 cab...
I think its really cool that semi's normally run 22.5 inch rims and that thing has 2.5 inch rims. Plus jeepers creepers drove a coe chevy 1946
That looks awesome!!!
Ya should put an smoke kit on it!
YES!

I love how it’s a true dually, not like that traxxas thing
That cool... amazing job Redcat.
Thanks for the walk around of the new hauler.. it will make new buyers happy and builders alike
Cheers 👍

Merry christmas brother, hope you had a good one!
I love the choice they went with old school truck Man oh man I just love it
Oh man also has a trailer you’re killing me 😎🤙🤙
That is so bad ass being able to lay it flat like that. Great overview/install!
Don’t weather it… Looks really good as is. Great vid.
Can't wait to see what you do with this

Can't wait to see how you customize it.
I'm not super big into the 50s COEs, but this is one helluva clean rig!

Beautiful truck. Excellent video and work.

Seems to be very well done, redcat has really stepped up their quality in the last few years.. im so excited to get one.
As if that hauler wasn't cool enough, the look was 10 times better with the squarebody and the rat-rods on it! The Hilux and the Amigo looked really cool on it too! Great video as always Josh!
Cool how it’s also a true COE
Love it. I like the patina on the cargo and the smooth finish on the hauler.
Heck yeah love the rat rod with the tracks super cool, Man I love that hauler yeah be a while before I Can afford that
I can't wait to get my hands on one! These things are killer looking. I'm in the middle of building a 57 gasser to ride on it
That’ll be sweet!
ive been wanting to build a ramp truck just like this but with a 1956 IHC s160 COE, but that custom hauler looks magnificent!
Good video, very informative. though it would have been nice if you'd shown pulling out installing the ramps, & shown driving the Rat Rod off then back on.
I'm hoping to pick one up eventually!!
I need one to haul my drag car around
it was made for you for sure
of anyone this is the perfect ramp truck for your rides , cannot wait to see what you do with this , this some weathering this will look even more amazing ..
I hope they come out with a Chevy 3100 that matches to go on back. This Coe is awesome!
Cool trailer truck 🤙🔥💨
Beautiful Rig
you need yo put the air ride on a rotary switch on the controller, give you more control over the up down .... nice truck though
Heck yeah dude Love it yeah yeah yeah well someday down the road, sure appreciate you sharing that is just so sweet a rat rod must have 👍👍😎
I think it looks great! Bitchin'! And yes I'm in California, lol.
Goleta top of the food chain lol!
Left in 87.
Wish I didn't have two built cen f450s would love to pick one up just no need for another hauler. The COE is alot cheaper then building a cen f450 that ls for sure
Sell one and buy this rig 🤷🏻♂️
It's beautiful.
You're gonna need a bigger garage, haha.
I wonder who'll convert it to 4wd?....😁
Only thing i see i dont like is the servo mounted on the axle. everything else though is perfect. That C channel chassis is going to be epic for custom builds.
Awesome Truck!!!
Square body crew cab dually on that chassis.
wish i could get one in uk i am making one
I think those redcat servos are like 45 or 46 kg. I'd imagine they'd have to be fairly strong to lift up 10 or 15 pounds on demand.
The shiny paint on the hauler will contrast with your rat rods and each will "POP". Just my opinion.
Are these available to everyone yet or you get yours early? Great video thank you so much for doing the video!!
Preorders start shipping this week. They will be available in limited quantities on the redcat website around the 20th. If your local hobby shop has any in order they will be your soonest chance.
Thanks!
Be cool to have real led marker lights on the bed and other lighting 👍
Just wow, that's one saxy truck
If you could turn the dual rate down it would look more scale when it deerooops... lol.
Need to know the story about the Butterfly tattoo 🤔 😊
Lost a baby a few years back. Just now dealing with it.
love it!
Opinion on upgrading motor and ESC?
I knew you’d have one as soon as I seen this thing haha, would the wheels an tires be too big for the tamiya 1/14 semis
Way too big for the tamiya stuff
Dang I was dreaming haha, it hard to find a nice bigger set that actually look like the us style, I have a grand hauler I turned into a stretched Pete that I’ve been trying to find some good looking wheels for
So cool!!!
Classic Ride Bad Ass..... :)
Truck lowered / slammed too fast. Maybe use lower kg servos?
Rc4wd v8 needs stuffing in it
I'm really digging the front cab...if this truck was a traxxas 799.00 you no traxxas 😊
I’m trying to forget traxxas.
As beautiful as that paint job is, it’d be awesome if you did a patina paint to the cab
Get a second cab only. Or will one of the cab you had made fit on it?
Will a drag car like a dr10 fit on this
I’m not sure I don’t have anything that size to test.
@@RCeveryday they have a 13 inch wheel base and are roughly 11 inches wide about 20 inches long
Spendy but a neat looking truck. $549.00 online.
Personally I’d rather have a Ford body but what can you do
That’s bad to the bone dude Gosh darn it yeah
I'd like to see a rat-rod paint job on this truck, it looks way too new!
Will the body fit on a trx6 g63 or scx6 chassis? I want that body on a 4wd chassis and those are the longest i have.
Honestly it’s pretty big. 11” wide 11” long and 10” high.
I'm gonna get this but was disappointed that they went the lowrider way with this. Perfect opportunity to make a scale hauler and could've made something innovative and instead they go with "air ride." I'd rather saw a light bar and a servo winch

That rig better put up a little something for rent. Da-yom.
NICE 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
How much for air ride by itself?
It’s only like $40. Just 2 servos and a y adapter. Everything else comes on the truck already
How width of the frame without the body
The track width is 11”
Bada$$😎
Looks cool, but it looks almost toy grade, but not gunna pic till i see one in real life.
Whole lotta bs you gotta go through just to be able to take body off lol. I’ll pass fr. More redcat stuff just overpriced in my opinion
