Holy cow you just brought a bunch of childhood memories. That red convertible on your shelf was my all time favorite toy that I still think about to this day ,I'm 65. ✌️Thank you for all your inspiration to the hobby.
It's coming along amazingly! I already saw the bedsides on Instagram earlier today, but I'm looking forward to seeing the entire rig completed in your next video! Awesome work as always, Josh!
I've watched all 3 parts of this patina build. Super cool. But this will be the last time I say anything olive rc. And it's perfect for poly. And that product he uses makes real rust on poly
Strip inside paint from factory paint with Simple Green and airbrush reverse application. If you want a totally different color and in my opinion looks killer dude! I’m in Central Texas brother I can do flames and skulls and some sweet airbrushing just FYI.✌🏼🤘🏼
Is coming alone real nice alone with the colors you painted looks great bro 👍🏼😎 I had used clear coat then on top I pray the candy paint or metal flakes it seen to work real good to for the paint to sick to it then I do apply more clear coat to it after I’m done or between colors I had done a few redcat 64’s I’m in Bryan/college station Texas origal from Los Angeles!!! keep up that great work 😎👍🏼
I hate painting lexan, although it always turns out pretty good. If I were to do this I’d paint it outside too. Lacquer will stick fine to lexan as long as you scuff it so you’re good.
If your painting outside you’ll need polycarbonate paint to prime it then you can paint it with anything after ..cellulose ,acrylic ,enamel etc using the poly paint to prime it don’t crack and fall off .I’ve found it out over years of trial and error ..
Someone showed me this method and it has been working well on his crawlers for years. Scuffing the body is giving something for the paint to adhere to.
I know I've said it in just about every patina video that u have ever done. As much as I love ur patina work. U really need to try that real rust that Olive RC's channel uses to where u get real rust in less than 24hrs it's a 2 part product. I still haven't seen u acknowledge any of my comments about it nor have I seen u try it. U probably haven't ever even checked out his channel. But that product that he uses would have been perfect for this build
Maybe leave the interior nice like that’s the only thing that was made nice. You could always come back and do it later. I’ve got friends that have done up the inside of their rat rods.
Man I tried to adjust it down, ever since they changed the youtube music thing all my preset volumes have been jacked up badly. Ill crank it down more on future videos.

The crusader 101! They just dont make them like they use to. That thing has such a detailed interior!
Heck yeah I’ll be watching for the next one
Wow just beautiful dude Yep I’m here watching
All I can say is you are a patient dude . I love the way it looks , just not sure I have the patience for it. Well done , 👍

That didn't take long. LOL!!
#1 music soundtrack for sanding.
Looks great already

Looks good. Almost like my full scale
get a fresh one too side be side and run em - wear the fresh one in over time then compare in 10 years. thank you for your videos✌🏼
Nice work 👍
Krylon Fusion spray paint sticks pretty well to lexan...
Just food for thought there...🚬🐴
Have to see if they have a red primer or something close. That’s the basis of my weathering.
And he sais he's not good at Lexan! Lookin killer!!
The trick with those little press on clips is to take a pick and bend the little tabs up. They'll just fall right off once you do that.

Purple power is a bit caustic and will make your hands feel slimy but it’s supposed to be non toxic

Ace Ventura, John Wick, Sam Quint(Jaws Movie) would scale good in there. 8 inch.

Previous comment was made before I saw you do the interior. I actually really like what you did with it.
I kept it pretty nice and simple, lol Just needed some more color.
It's a little more then just slopping brown on and whipping it off. And the look and finish is next to none
Can we do a version without the music or much lower in volume? The music is good, just hella loud
Work looks great.

Your stuff rocks. Thanks for the reply. Totally understand how much work goes into this UA-cam stuff. Appreciate you sharing your skills!
The choice to go a little heavier on the music is nice my dude! 🤘🏻 Cant wait to get my hauler once they come out. Great job man.
More rust
