Yes the soundtrack is amazing. I just tend not to talk about music stuff since my understanding of music and music theory is non existent and it feels shallow to just go 'yup, sounds good' 😅
the story oh how the mangaka, got to writing made in abyss, how he got an artist and how the anime took of is really amazing. I think he got an artist for the price of a playstation if i remember correctly.
I got so in love with the first season I buyed the manga right after it. And because of this I haven't watch the movie or season two, but I already read what will be season 3 if it come one day out. Beautiful scenery and ost. Great character, big fan of Ozen. Lovecraftien atmosphere with heartwarming scene. Gutstaking moment that make me have a tear (looking at you Mitty last scene). Children with no plot armor. And lastely and sadly some weird shit flirting with kinks I don't need. And we know what is a hollow, it was a human. Our dear princess of 6 layer is never mention as a hollow, and what come next in the manga mention a new ""concept of hollows"". This world inspire me even for some role-play game as a DM, but I didn't have the time to fully invest myself in it. I just know I will the rule of Numenera for it and twist some part of character creation.
If you still haven't watched the movie and S2 I'm telling you the cinematography is charismatic topped with Kevin Penkins new osts. You might wanna check out an AMV of Gravity, it's the most beautiful AMV of an ost I've ever seen here in UA-cam.
One thing which I have noticed but I think people are understandably uncomfortable addressing is how even a lot of the really questionable and outright transgressive stuff tends to serve a purpose in the story in terms of theme, character or tone even as it makes it really difficult to recommend. Take the way that certain scenes with Riko are framed when Reg is meant to be the point-of-view character. It's not out-and-out leering, but it's frank and awkward in a way which clues you in on how Reg sees her, his being, for all intents and purposes, a pubescent boy with a crush who isn't great at handling those feelings. Likewise, the stuff with bodily functions, wildly out of pocket as it is, sets up a motif in the village arc where it starts as a crass joke and gets increasingly dark and weird each time it happens, with the payoff being in the tale of the Ganja where it's transformed into this nightmare of body horror; the same arc also does this with the way that it frames eating as a parallel, with that same part of the arc being the most disturbing iteration but the payoff being in the finale of the season where it wraps around to something… beautiful? But also horrifying and tragic, yet also kind of sort of heartwarming? This series is really weird. It's the definition of "not for everyone." But I think there's a tendency to flatten it a little from people who either haven't seen it and are going off of stuff they've heard secondhand or, far more understandably, folks who got a little too freaked out by the more distasteful elements or were even just put off by how brutal and depressing it gets, and I think that's unfortunate. Because there's basically almost nothing like it in anime at this point and very little in manga.
whelp see you in six years when season 3 (probably) hits but all kidding aside one thing i realy liked about this franchise was the fact that it often manages to exceed your expectations in all the good and wrong ways with the prettiness of the abyss and its mystery's but also its disturbing horror aspect it also manages to make me genuinely want to know the resolution of everything will riko survive? what actually is the abyss? etc kinda how horizon zero dawn launched you into a completely alien world that lets you put the pieces together slowly as a reward for making it through all the evil in its world similar to how made in abyss works basically get through all this fucked up stuff to see the cool stuff
Absolutely, although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dreading the moment Riko finds Lyza. The other white whistles haven't exactly been the nicest people around.
In the manga and anime it's more about the strength of the curse in that particular spot. Advancing slowly, like really slowly does work to a degree but again, depending on the depth and ofc some places will force you to go quick like the ascend from the 6th layer
This video was ever so slightly rushed since I had to do it in 4 days in order to have some content out this week. Sorry if it's a little rough.
Bondrewd:"Going up and down very hard so i made this elevator, the design is very human. Let my good friend demonstrate"
Very easy to use 👍
Let's not forget about the soundtrack, holy crap does it elevate the emotional tone of the series.

Kevin Penkin musical genius
"The Best anime I've had the displeasure of watching"
Great line.

Nice review, I leave a subscription!
Thank you
WE GET TO SEE THE CHEESE AT THE END!!!!! Loved this review, i definitely need to move it up my list!
I'm not sure if seeing my face is a bonus but thank you 🤣 made in abyss is excellent
@@addedcheese it’s a very good outro I think, makes it so the viewers can connect with the creator at least in my mind
@@justlightfps yeah, I figured the same
Can't wait for season 3
Same. It is an excellent show.

@@addedcheese I've always pointed out, she is called the annihilation. Given the titles the others have, she might just be the most dangerous of them.
Man, that’s not very Golden Experience Requiem of you.
in game you can safe go up by move slowly and stop move up if you feel sick, i dunno if it cannon to story or just game mechanic.
