What types of houses would get you to visit Vegas when this opens?
I would want to see Micheal Myers.
Classic Monsters
Giant radioactive spiders. Mad scientists and experiments. Mayan/Incan/Aztec sacrifices priests...
Classic Monsters - that will ALWAYS be the draw for me.
@@queenboudicca31 You are truly a woman after my own heart (and being named after Britain's first Queen doesn't hurt)
@@garethmorgan8326 Okay. It's amazing that Universal Parks & Resorts continues to expand more. Universal Kids Frisco if that's going to be the official name for the theme park is going to be awesome and be very different from their massive theme parks around the world. I wonder how much money is going to be spent on this project and I say that Frisco Texas deserves to have a Universal Studios theme park as their city continues to grow. I hope that no interruptions will interfere with the project while still being planned and when its under construction.
Great update again. I love how Universal basically create new IPs for their parks and attractions such as Jack, Chance and Earl the Squirrel. Gives us something new and unique to the parks, but then becomes this scalable, reusable IP going forward
Recycling old houses makes a lot of sense. So much work goes into the production of HHN, it's a shame that the artists' work just goes away when it's all over. This new attraction would be a good way to preserve their work.
Makes sense they already do it for horror nights if you pay attention to the sets
Actually there are quite a few things recycled and reused! The rest is sold in the prop store :)
The only thing about this is, Universal's mazes don't compare in quality to other haunted attractions in the U.S. Their temporary mazes are too limited due to the temporary nature of them so I would hope they would build a whole new unique maze that could incorporate some of the technology that's standard amongst high ranking haunts like The 13th Gate or Fear Factory, etc. I would expect moving rooms, complex engineering, and immersive theming that is not just some walls and that's it. I hope they don't recycle the haunts, sure, recycle the materials though, but not the haunts.
It's actually a genius business idea since it will all be used every day it's probably not cheap or takes a huge area to store
That's exactly what I was telling my wife. She really wants to go to HHN and we're always going to Vegas so this could be a way if seeing their attractions.
Universal is expanding like crazy! epic universe, a new children’s theme park in Texas and now a year round halloween horror nights in Vegas!!
True. I just totally lost interest when they said it's a kid theme park.
I'm from the Future. There is speculation about a new European park. "Universal Great Britain". If only half of these projects make it. This is crazy expansion. Kinda hope it works out for them. More fun for all of us! 🎉
@@TyrantkingX9 hello person from the future 😂. I live in the UK so Universal GB would be amazing!
On one hand, as a massive haunt fan, I love the idea of a permanent experience. On the other hand, as someone that's worked in the haunt industry for decades, I have one big concern, and that's staffing. Even in a typical seasonal haunt, there's a fair bit of churn. Scare acting is punishingly hard work, and it's hard enough getting a set cast willing and able to work for 4-6 weeks in a row, much less a full permanent all year position. It makes me wonder if they're going to be running with a much reduced staff compared to a regular HHN house, or even if they plan to rely purely on mechanical scares.
I agree will be interested to see how they handle casting and keeping them motivated after several months
If you pay people well, provide benefits and just treat them right…you’d be surprised at how hard they’re willing to work 😅
fair point!
I've been doing it for a long time too and it's fun and a passion of mine. Nothing really hard about it lol
@@deldavis5457 it's meant to be fun lol
I hope Universal puts something in either North or South Carolina. Carowinds is literally the ONLY major theme/amusement park for those two states, there’s plenty of room for a second park somewhere around there, even if it’s a small one.
Love your channel. No nonsense and to the point videos.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
The Dragula music in this video is SENDING me.
oh my god I couldn't put my finger on where I knew that music from at @01:20
Let’s all come to an agreement that the 2020’s decade belongs to Universal! This decade is looking like a great one for them and a horrible one for Disney!
Both companies RICHLY deserves their respective fates--Seriously hope Disney goes down in flames this decade!
@@edvaira6891 I get the hate for Disney but I severely doubt they are going down in flames lmao
No. Disney will rise up again. The world will die without Disney. Universal is not worth visiting.
@@edvaira6891 are you ok? Like mentally I mean?😊 why do you want to destroy a company that has brought joy to generations? Seriously what’s ur problem?😄 sounds like you need a churro & some pixie dust!✨☺️
@@Taydar you’re trippin. Universal is definitely worth visiting.
So excited for this project! Give me all the HHN everywhere! ❤️🔥🎃❤️🔥
I clicked so fast! Universal is bringing it lately 🙌
While Disney chokes on trying to bleed every nickel out of Star Wars and Marvel.
@@BSDLLC this lol 😆 💯
@@BSDLLC although I'm a Universal fanaitc, but I want to say is Marvel already could let Disney earn enough money let alone mickey and mouse
Not even that, it’s just upper management has no clue on how to run it lol.
Would be cool if it was a full on Horror theme park. Like HorrorLand from that Goosebumps episode 🙏
Sounds pretty much what it happening🤔
Area 15 Orlando starts construction very soon! I can't wait. Would absolutely love if you could provide updates and rumors. Like Meow Wolf in Orlando. Heck yes!!!
Once we get more details for sure!
@Theme Park Stop Can't wait! Keep up the Amazing work! Thank you.
Hopefully if this does well they could obtain more land and build horror nights dark rides
This feels like the perfect opportunity for a permanent house for Lady Luck
It's about time we're getting something good out here in Las Vegas 🤠. Can't wait till it opens and I would love to work there also ☺️
Same here! And I will be working there once they open next year! I'm currently a haunt actor at Screamtown in Minnesota. The biggest haunted attraction here😎🎃🎃
I wanna be there for opening day
Three houses is pretty smart; they could do one 'Classic Monsters' house, one 'Modern' house, and then do an 'Icon' house that recycles previous houses, HHN Icons, and new ideas to try out
Finally vegas gets something universal. Now let's pray for an actual theme park.
With Universal Studios Hollywood being a short trip away what’s the point?
@@aaronlane8276 some of just can't travel that far. I would love to go to Halloween horror night but right now it probaly more then hour a way then got spend money for gas, or plane ticket and theme park and extra on Halloween horror night. But hey if part of Halloween horror night comes here don't have to go that far. If you where talking about theme park I don't mind that being here. But excited Las vegas is getting Halloween horror attraction.
Nice idea las Vegas is going to be a fun horror nights event
I hope this is just the begining of universal expanding in Vegas! ❤ would love to see them grow here
In my mind I can see them trying a idea of one icons house, one on classic monsters, and the third can be a slot for them to use to promote new releases, kind of a monster of the week situation and then for different seasons do certain properties, like July 4 can do purge, Halloween should be obvious, Krampus on Christmas, ya know.
this was great research!! ty
Meow wolf omega mart: Proceeds to show Convergence Station….
Oopsie
Dw just thought it was funny 😂 As a Meow Wolf nerd I had to say sum
Kind of surprised it took this long for someone to comment on it! I’ll remember for next time though.
@@ThemeParkStop Alr! No worries and great vid btw
Hoping this gets ported to Area15 Orlando.
While I hope this venture works. I wonder if they will try something else at this location like another location for their escape rooms if the horror concept fails.
Is the 3rd character next to Chance, Hollywood Harry from Universal Hollywood's Terror Tram?
Maybe sort of kinda?
This is amazing!!! I would love this as a permanent edition to City Walk in Orlando,m
It would be interesting for it to feature there, but if it came to Orlando, then it would likely anchor the south campus's CityWalk rather than appear in CityWalk North. There's about 400 acres of expansion space for the south campus though, so it could be anywhere there.
SO MUCH UNI NEWS LATELY. LETS GOOOO
Area 15 was so freakin awesome! I hope they do this!
They are!!
Imagine a real life Lady Luck casino in Vegas!!!!! Or a fully functioning Universal Palace Theater!!!!! So excited, even though I’l probably never get to go! 😄
Wow no wonder I saw all those buildings next to area 15 gone
They should make it where you have to solve puzzles with your group to get to each room and it should get scarier and darker
That might discourage some from going. Don't want to make it an escape room.
They should build a attraction house in Irvine, there’s plenty of warehouses.
Let’s not forget Orlando, also is getting an Area 15. If this is successful there, maybe something will come to our Area 15?
Honestly this is something we need more attractions but also bc frightdome itself got shut down so the fact that we’re getting this is awesome I didn’t like having to travel to Cali juss too have a good Halloween
💀This is really exciting, I am going to have to go back to Las Vegas again !⚰
Yea, bring more excitement to my city 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I hope they build a wooden . Rollercoaster themed to Michael Myers
So I have a question Will they still do HHN in their universal parks in Both Orlando and Hollywood still?
Yes. This is something extra just for Vegas, but will not affect HHN in the parks.
@@ThemeParkStop okay good thank you I love hhn but I think this is going to be awesome knowing that universal is building their own Halloween horror nights theme park and speaking of which they should make a movie about HHN you know? 😊😲
I hope universal builds something in Boston some day😭
Arizona too !! it's so boring here !!
@@dermot864 lots of land that could be easily utilized 🤔 but you know how people are…if it destroys the desert they fight it
Dear Universal. PLEASE build a Theme Park in the UK!
Wasn’t there going to be one for Uk in the older years but it got cancelled?
@@jordanp.davidson5977 Yes there was.
If only universal had a park in Texas 😞
Can you do a video talking about AREA 15 coming to Orlando?????
When they mention meow wolf's omega mart they have a picture from meow wolf's convergence station (Denver, co) instead 😂😂
Edit: anyway I'm pretty stoked that this is happening! I think it'll just give me another reason to visit Area15!!
Whoopsie!
Are they going to be hiring at some point
They should build in AZ, there’s so much land not being utilized!
AZ is a dump tho
Eli Roth already tried it a few years ago, and it was a disaster
YESSS!!!
Sadly, it will be way out of my price range....😢
Who's handling the casting for performers?
Since its universal studios...most likely in house hiring process
That’s coool
Sucks it’s in Vegas. I’ll never get to see it
just go to Las Vegas
YAYY OMG
I would only go if it was in Florida instead
A couple of years the hype will be eh
I really wish we could switch the Texas park with this one! I feel like this HHN theme would be so great to have in the middle of the U.S. … Vegas isn’t even far from LA. 🤦♀️😭
but Vegas is more suitable for HHN, most ppl go there are adults, gambling, etc
still dont understand the purpose of this
