I am an Indian, I purchased an Irish bouzouki(musical instrument) when I was in Switzerland, from an online retail store Thomann Germany, but the instrument was made in Romania. Bouzouki was originally a Greek instrument , modified to Irish Bouzouki by an Irish musician to play Irish Music...So this is how the world is connected. This musical instrument is my connection with Romania.. You both are doing very well... Very nice..

You both enjoying your Sikkim tour , i like your hitchhiking but be careful doing hitchhiking in other part of India hitchhiking is not safe be careful during hitchhiking, enjoy your trip and stay safe.
Reserved taxis are costly in India. Cz the gas prices are very high in India. It costs around 13-14rs/km but sometimes you will have to pay double as the charge will include the return cost of the cab, especially if it is from one city to another.
Hope you come back to India and explore it further. ❤️

I'm 36 years old visited gangtok and darjeeling for the first time ever in my life last year April till may it was a wonderful experience enjoyed my trip a lot. I hope to visit again this year again preferably in December

always start your journey in the morning. evening, it gets scarce. and try to plan the journey ahead, than relying on luck.
otherwise stuff gets problematic anytime. all places of india are not best for hitch hiking.

Hey, please plan your trip and proceed your journey as per. Lucky that there wasn't a rain otherwise it would have been a chaos. Since its a monsoon, the Himalayan region receives heavy amount of rainfall. Seek help from the hotel owners/Govt designated tourist help center as in terms of the distance, nearby taxi stands etc. Good luck and have a good time.
Our style is just go do it, if you plan too much ahead where is the fun in life? And if it rains, worst case you get wet .... 🤷♂️
