Mr.Harris, Your reactions to Dimash's songs have always been a model for me of how to analyze Dimash's art. But today you disappointed me a lot, because you started watching from the middle of the clip, did not watch the end of the clip. I reviewed a lot of reactions from around the world. No one has ever eaten or drank during a reaction. On the contrary, many cried and after the end could not find the words to express their feelings. Everyone was fascinated by the plot that Dimash shows. This video has a very deep meaning. I realized that you didn't understand anything from this song. Alas… This song cannot be judged by a small fragment. I don't understand what purpose you made this reaction on UA-cam?

Why in the world would you critique a masterpiece when only exposing yourself to half of it and why would you ask someone else to chose how much you see of it????? I believe this was completely disrespectful to Dimash!!!!! As other commenters stated, Dimash worked on this for three freaking years and you are only going to expose yourself to a portion of it. You are such a smart man and I have been so happy that you see Dimash's artistry, but I believe you totally missed the mark here. Next time I suggest that you either expose yourself to all of it or none of it!!! - An Obviously Emotionally Triggered Long-term Dear!!

Rarely have I experienced repeated disappointment on a reaction channel like I have here. Here is someone with real knowledge about music, that could (and sometimes does) properly evaluate and appreciate Dimash`s quality as a singer and as an artist. And yet, disappoints when there`s a stunning song where there is something to learn and value about an artist like Dimash. After hearing mr. Harris say that Dimash sings some songs that are not suited for him, I hoped he would properly evaluate a complex piece of art that Dimash created himself, musical composition and video script, with quite a philosophical message about our world. Of course, this exact song had to be cut to less than half, no story progression, no vocal progression. Perfect. I will never hope for anything out of this channel. I`m done.
An advice for the future : if you think a video is too long, don`t make a reaction to it. Don`t disrespect the creation of an artist and the work of a team of hundreds of people that brought it to life. And also, I dare say don`t disrespect the fans that you mentioned in your introduction. Do you believe that we wanted you to comment for 10 minutes about the tail end of a complex work of art ?
We wanted you to witness that complex work of art, and talk about what you saw, not about a fragment and based on your colleague`s opinion.
But, I guess I only have myself to blame for sticking around.
I should have left a long time ago, right around when you said that Dimash did a song "for a meal ticket" or "to put food on the table" or something like that, and that "you could write something better for him".
Why did I think you would be curious about a 13 minute long video done by "a great artist like Dimash", that it would pique your curiosity, of course you would be ok with your friend cueing it 2 thirds in and watching the last bit, and not even that to the end.
What in the world were we even expecting ?
Some people are trying to refrain in the comments out of respect, but I am sorry, I personally have lost my respect, not for everything you represent as a professional, but for the reactions you do here on youtube.
If you are too busy to spent 13 minutes looking at something before giving an evaluation, don`t do the reaction at all, there is no value in that reaction-analysis for me as a viewer.
I don`t have time to waste either, watching you eat and talk for 10 minutes out of 15 about something you didn`t watch, and asking your friend what he understood from watching.
    I`m sorry.
I hope one day you will get to hear more about Dimash as a person, which drives his quality and purpose as an artist.
    Take care.

Dimash worked on this for 3 years, his composition, his message to the world, him pouring his heart out. In his own words, this is his most valuable work so far. Singeling out one part won't do it justice, it's like reacting to a whole book based on reading only the last chapter. I'm perfectly ok with you not showing the whole video if you think it's going to be a too long reaction but if you're going to react to it and have an opinion about it at least watch it from beginning to end yourself out of respect for the artist.

If he doesn't want to be bothered with a video of this length then he should just have not bothered reacting to it at all.
He wasn't even aware that Dimash wrote the music, did the arrangements, wrote the screenplay and acted his ass off, instead giving all the credit to Igor Krutoy who didn't have a single thing to do with it.

That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace).
One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'.
The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work.
The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.
The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.
    Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen
    Script - Dimash Qudaibergen
    Music - Dimash Qudaibergen
Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...)
    Directed by - Alina Veripia
DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad)
Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value.
No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world.
We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven.
    (description box, Dimash news, astanatimes)
My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?
*** Pope Francis awarded a commemorative medal to Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen during the Pope's visit to the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions September 14-15, 2022 in Nur-Sultan/Kazakhstan.
On September 13, 2022, Dimash performed his new song 'The Story of One Sky' at the concert held for convention attendees.
The music video premiered on September 24 at Dimash's meeting with fans in Almaty.
A few days earlier, Dimash said he had just shot 'the world's most expensive music video' to compose it (over $7 million). It used to be Michael Jackson's 'Scream'. (astanatimes)

Dimash spent 3 years composing the music, writing the screenplay, producing the film and of course acting the part of the protagonist. The song is intricately designed as a soundtrack for the film. Each frame highly important to the entire story. From the very first frame to the very end frame, the story is filled with symbolism.
The story is about three children who are friends with the two boys in love with the same girl. Dimash's character is the boy drowning in the beginning and the boy who saves him is rejected by the girl and becomes the adult tyrant trying to conquer Dimash's town.
Dimash as a boy finds the box with the little gnomon, middle part of a sundial used by sailors to help navigate the seas. He makes friendship necklaces and gives both children a necklace. Note the taller boy has to be forced to take it but does not put it on.
Dimash grows up to marry the girl and has a daughter that you see in the attacked building that is Dimash's home.
The name of the town, Wallenberg, is the same as the last town in Germany where the German army had their last stand. The US army took the town but killed every man, woman and child in the town not only the soldiers, symbolizing "good guys" can also kill the innocent in war.
The pilgrims climbing the mountain symbolize the world's religions all trying to lead toward the light. Finding many hardships some fall by the wayside.
Dimash finds his dead daughter and believes his pregnant wife is also dead. Note the screams of pain of both birth and death.
Dimash hunts down his former friend and kills him out of vengeance but is in turn killed symbolizing no one wins in wars.
Note the storm making it even harder for the pilgrims to climb toward the light as Dimash takes his revenge symbolizing the wrong decision to take life. He realizes and screams we're choosing life with his dying breath.
    His wife dies giving birth.
His son is born and grows up to help unite the world's religions in their combined efforts to lead the world to the light.
The message at the end was written by the Congress of the World's Religions held in Kazakhstan where Dimash presented this song to Pope Francis, the Grand Imam, the Head of the Hebrew and Orthodox religions and all the 100 leaders of the world's major religions who gave Dimash a standing ovation. It was beautiful.
I credit Dimash's performance with influencing the Pope and the Orthodox leader to publicly condemn Putin and his atrocities. They both had been avoiding the conflict before this.

Very well said, I appreciate the info except that I strongly disagree with your message in the last paragraph. By the way, If you are from Kazakhstan, I presume you are aware that it was Putin who came to your country's rescue during the civil uprising in your country in the early part of this year. It was Putin who helped restore peace in your place when it was made it appear to us outsiders that you cannot defend your your own country from the wrath of your own people. It was Putin who decisively lent a helping hand when you needed one. No country would want to go to war (except those countries who many of us know that have been engaging in wars, planting destabilization to foreign governments, and experts in making regime change in many countries) unless it was pushed to the edge of the precipise. To me, Putin is not a warmongerer. Why not make your research on the matter, you may find out that other people caused the current war and not Putin. Oh I almost forgot, I have seen a video online where some kazakhs were very rude in treating one Russian family who visited Kazakhstan as tourists. In the video, some kazakhs people were telling the poor Russian family that they are not needed in kazakhstan. They humiliated their fellow human being. DISCLAIMER: I cant vouch the authenticity of the video because I just have seen it online.

What I love about Dimash is that he does not use his vocal abilities to show off, but to serve the song: through his voice, he’s telling us a story.
How can you not admire and respect such a wholesome artist with a beautiful heart and soul?
Dimash’s song, video, and message are so powerful and compelling: The Story of One Sky - that Dimash composed himself - is a heartfelt plea for peace and unity. Thus, although we are divided into different countries, races and faiths, we all share the same sky.
We could feel his pain, passion, and desperation in his heavy metal like scream because he truly cares.
Dimash has found his calling as an artist: presenting his Kazakh culture to the world, but also spreading compassion, love, respect, and unity through his voice and music.
Indeed, in this short film (it’s more than a simple MV at this point!), Dimash is showing us that war is NOT the path to peace. War does not unite people like the antagonist preaches; but leads to “senseless horror”, destruction, grief, and death. At the end, he shows us the alternative to war by leading people from different faiths and cultures to the true path of peace and unity.
At last, I admire Dimash’s strong conviction and courage. I hope that his heartfelt cry for peace and unity will be heard by many people around the world.
Thank you so, so much for your genuine appreciation of Dimash’s talent and work. The Story of One Sky is such a compelling masterpiece!

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER.
The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace.
Dimash takes his revenge on his former friend. The new baby represented a new innocent life beginning as his father dies. (And he does die) also the mother died in childbirth. The baby grew up to be a leader of men who seek peace. He wore his parents necklace, to always remember. The This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

    The Story of One Sky
The film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts.
The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. Friends were scattered, and the third friend became an enemy, friends are enemies, because of the war, It is shocking how the cry of true helplessness of a father embracing his murdered daughter is practically coupled with the cries of a woman in labor who brings a child into the traumatized world of soldier (Dimash). That he was searching for his family and that he had found the dead body of his daughter and I think believing that his pregnant wife had also died, and felt the death of life, he decides, as the only way out in that moment of uncontrollable pain is revenge. He killed the evil embodied in his opponent, and then was killed by soldiers' bullets. ,and when Dimash died, his son was born, and the mother died during childbirth. But the boy is saved by his society of different religions and races, he wears his mother's talisman. He will surely grow up and become a messenger of peace on earth, like a worthy son of his father.A symbol of a future without evil, without wars, a world moving towards peaceful coexistence. The light of hope and peace on earth,In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. In the end, he joined with people of different races and religions from another era that touches the present and the future In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. ,Piper represents the force Totalitarian, oppressor who is not alien to us and who understands that war is the way to make people free (real nonsense)Piper Aldi symbolizes the totalitarian system of the dark world. Piper (is the name of a soldier's adversary, a soldier who only hates annihilates and destroys What irony for a friend, in his childhood, soldier Dimash saved from drowning. But life is like this, full of changes, good and evil, war and disdain for traditions and slander and religions. It happens when we lose love for each other, and our way to God and making peace and love in the world is not difficult but it is possible if we work together for love and peace and stop wars, hatred and contempt.. It is about the call to cooperate and save lives, love, friendship and the land of our children.” Art is a sacred message in life, and these are the true artists.. and the earth. You need these reformers in their precious and honest lives. And eternal work for the sake of love and peace on earth.. Praise be to God for his gifts.. Thank you, Dan Muhammad - Damsh - for your sincerity and your presence.. between us,,,

💥35K people from 68 countries💥came together in love, in solidarity, in peace in an Almaty, KZ stadium on 9-23-22 for the 4 hour concert (31 songs, I'm told) given by the young Kazakh musician whose divine voice touches souls & changes hearts. Below please read the brief speech that DQ gave to the audience before singing his newest composition, "The Story of One Sky." Sending this to you & yours, Dear, with Much Love & In Solidarity while Praying for Peace.
"Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Thank you very much.
We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents.
And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation.
I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next.
But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true.
We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children,
we forget that we also have some things to learn from those children.
They are pure-hearted, kind, friendly, untainted and without egos and their love for people are pure. Young children have such qualities.
I started writing this song I'm about to perform, three years ago.
Generally speaking, my main purpose in writing this work is to call for peace in the world.
It's a small composition that has burst out from deep within my heart.
To tell you truth, many thanks to god and with your wishes I traveled to many parts of the world and met many different people during my tours.
One thing I understood is that if you look at ordinary people, there is no such thing as a bad nationality, there is no bad nationality!
I don't need to tell you what you already know about the reason for mentioning the topic of nationality here...
Let there be peace in the world, Let there be peace. Let there be no war.
Let no people, let no nationality, let no country suffer!
Because after all, ordinary individuals, ordinary people are not at fault.
The truth of the matter is, no ordinary person is guilty of starting a war!
That's why the next song I'll be performing in your honor is about our common fate under one sky, it's called "The Story of One Sky".
    Hope you like it."

Why in the world did you start SEVEN minutes into the song? I'm a subscriber and I love your reactions, but honestly I would rather you not react at all to the piece if you couldn't react to the whole work - it was disrespectful. This is a requiem - every moment was important in creating the rich tapestry of the story

****SPOILERS, DON;T READ IF YOU WANT TO FIGURE THIS OUT YOURSELF****
This is a masterpiece composed by Dimash himself. For a Fancam live (audio quality not as good but wow his showmanship - and just seeing he does all this LIVE, in the middle of a concert)
    ua-cam.com/video/IH7hhSw6CfU/v-deo.html
    *****last Chance To Stop******
But yeah the story, in the beginning, shows a young Dimash being rescued by his best friend from drowning and there is his other friend (a girl). You can tell it
sad, Dimash is remembering better times. In gratitude, he goes to a toolbox in the boat and takes some bits, and gives them some bits that look like designs. All very important for symbolism later on. Soon after we cut to a political figure, a tyrant, whose symbol is the same as what Dimash gave to his best friend. Shortly thereafter, you find the tyrant was the other boy, his best friend. And Dimash is now a Freedom fighter, trying to save his people from that tyrant. Still, they manage to avoid each other, despite the atrocities.
That is until Dimash's character finds a building where people, old and young are slaughtered by the Tyrant's soldiers. One of them is a little girl, who was Dimash's daughter. Dimash nearly loses his mind as a result. And yet, at the same time, while he is mourning the loss of his daughter, his wife (who was the little girl in the earlier segment), is giving birth to Dimash's Son (that's why his wife, and later on his son have the necklace who he gifted as a child to her). So there is a juxtaposition of death and life going on at once. Also, there is a cutaway scene where people of all faiths seem to be on a holy quest (various religious symbols) through the desert, a symbol of all walks of life persevering despite all the death and carnage. Everything comes to a head - Dimash tracks down and finds his old friend and kills him (no doubt to stop his friend turned tyrant in both an act of revenge and also to stop him from killing anyone again).
The Tyrant is killed, and Dimash is killed as well (pretty much a suicide mission). Dimash dies in the water, and in a way, things come full circle, as he would have died had not his friend saved him. The very end shows the same desert scene, and Dimash is now at the head of it (some people say it's his son grown up, and some might say it's Dimash in the afterlife, it's up to interpretation, I think). Either way, it's a plea for peace and understanding. Dimash I think realizes that war is hell., and while many people have to engage in it to protect themselves and those they love from tyrants, the end goal should always be peace and understanding.
And of course, our man is a wonderful vocal technician - in many ways outdoing himself. But really the story is what is the most important. He just told it in a way only Dimash could tell it.

Nobody tells DiMASH what to do. This is his own composition. He wrote the script and told the lyricist what to write in English. This is not Igor Krutoy’s work. Please tell your helper to read the description under the video. Take care. ❤️🙏🕊

Seriously, if you can’t even begin to take the time listen to a masterpiece that takes 13 minutes out of your life then really don’t bother. This is a message of peace - why bother to react if you’re not prepared to see something in its entirety. This took Dimash 3 years from music composition to film script - you have to watch the MV in it’s entirety to get his message of peace told through the story of three childhood friends whose lives are intertwined to a seemingly tragic end.

@@JustMyOpinion1010 There is nothing to defend about this "reaction". You can't always use copyright as an excuse. How many reactions did you see to this video? How many only saw half of it? Sorry. It's a waste of time even trying to explain the content of the video to this reactor. He should have looked at it. I'm so disappointed because actually I liked him until now.
