Lmao same, I basically wear a wispy thin band lashes and apply the inner corner part in the middle of the lid and the end above the lid like youd do the top part of a liner and fill the space between the false eye lash & lash line with a brown/black liner/pencil. It lifts the eye by looking so natural and ever so slightly less obvious than other ppls techniques
I can't put anything in my waterline, maybe, sometimes on my upper one, but it will still transfer everywhere, even with super waterproof eye pencils 😂.

Genuine question here- isn't it just a makeup look? To me, it's like over-lining your lips, contouring your features, or doing your eye makeup in a way that makes them look bigger. Also, I think this is a great look for those with hooded eyes, regardless of their ethnicity, and creates a sultry look. I'm of Chinese background myself, and when I saw this trend I didn't immediately think of it being race-related, particularly in a negative way. I personally would only have a slight issue with it if someone purposely pulled at their skin around their temples to make their eyes more slanted.

heres a tip for people lie me whose eyes' water when you put something in the waterline: You don't PHYSICALLY put the eyeliner on WATERLINE. You just graze the BASE of your EYELASHES to make it look darker. And using a soft-ish eyeliner pencil instead of a liquid liner will help. As for the rest of the inner corner be as thin and close to the water-line as possible.
Of all the foxy/foxeye makeup looks I've seen I'd say yours is the most wearable one I've seen for any time of day. It's subtle yet chic and just overall bombbbb 💯

I like it, it's close to what I normally wear. I add one of the etude house glitter liquid liners under the dark inner eyeliner. And it adds a dash of cute to the sexy making it very daytime. I am going to try the colors you did

I don’t hate this look, and think it’s quite pretty. However, I do feel uncomfortable with the intentional picture pose of lifting the eyes/eyebrows with your fingers. It’s just too similar to the pose people would make to mock Asian eyes. Again, I have nothing against the makeup look, just the pose.

I do know that many Asians and Asian-Americans did speak out about having similar thoughts so I think their points are valid.
