As a Quins fan I feel very lucky that Laurie is at the helm he clearly knows what he’s doing with Quins having the highest revenue in the league and the 2nd highest social media following of any club in Europe he clearly knows what he’s doing
Which is why I was shocked to hear a social media team of 3 or 4. That is madness, if they even invested to about 7 they could almost double their following again I’m certain of it
@@callumreid9855 completely disagree. I mean don’t get me wrong it helps, but Quins are easily the fastest growing on social media in the last couple of years, and yet have won nothing. It’s more about the club brand, the names on the pitch and their playing style which seems to attract new followers. If it was purely trophies Saracens would be beating Quins but they’re lagging behind quite a bit
@@24hr_rugby_jake this might be wrong but until the salary cap scandal it was my understanding that Saracens were similar size to Quins in terms of social media following
@@callumreid9855 yes that’s right but even after all that they were the same size in following, it’s really in the last 2 years or so Quins have got way bigger
Excellent video and questions guys. Would love to see what other rugby people you get on. Anyone from the RFU would be interesting although they’d probably refuse the invite 😭
Wolves have fallen off as a club since about when Laurie left. Quins undoubtedly off the pitch have done incredible stuff. Quins have got a special guy here
The stoop is sold Out most games. Ultimately quins needs a new stadium but won’t happen anytime soon or in twickenham. More games at the big stadium Across the road (sorry can’t say a………:)
There’s 2 main reasons the Stoop hasn’t been expanded both of which can be overcome which is good news: 1. The club had planned to expand pre-COVID but need to pay down some debts before exploring that again 2. The local Twickenham council and local residents opposed the expansion of the Stoop the last time it was explored - I think with enough support this could be overcome
Great guest, but my god the host on the right in shorts needs to get some interviewing lessons. Constantly interrupting and switching the point of focus, meaning guest rarely got a full chance to expand on his points. Loads of opportunities missed there to go deeper. First rule of interviewing - know when to shut up and let the guest speak!
I think the French are the only country who gets it right. They put their clubs first and then the National team just like most soccer nations do. If the focus is on the national team, the clubs will always struggle.

Never seen this channel before but really enjoyed this - please do more rugby videos 🙌
Laurie has hit the nail on the head about capturing some of that international rugby audience for club rugby clearly knows his stuff
Not exactly Einstein though is it
@@24hr_rugby_jakeeven Einstein bows to the wisdom of Laurie Dalrymple

@ difficult to say one way or the other, I think the way they grow that social media following from here is by winning trophies

The seats at Quins stadium are TOO SMALL. You get DVT with a load of rugby club mates sat together. Sort out the seating for gods sake!
Who cares about the seats mate 😂 makes it a proper ground. Leave your prawn sandwiches behind next time yeah?
Nice video

Absolutely no need to move to a new stadium. Just expand one stand
Love the content but whats the deal with the short shorts Harry 😅
